Reflection City Outskirts
The giant Xy'pher arms flailed around violently, taking the massive hit from Gogeta's powered up beam. A loud animalistic screech echoed, but down below. Whatever was underneath their feet let out one final squeal of what seemed to be its last breath. The giant crystal arms began to fall apart and slip through the cracks of the broken rock beneath. The Valkyries, on the other hand, stumbled back thanks to Gogeta's little technique. Zenta took this chance to flip backwards and gain some distance between them as Gogeta appeared beside him. The cocky attitude of the Fusion made him chuckle. In a way, he enjoyed listening to Gogeta's confidence.
"Very well, I will allow you to take all the credit for this battle, Gogeta," Zenta said with a chuckle. "But for now, we must work together. Please, Mr. President, hang on for a little while longer and give Gogeta a chance."
Zenta nodded to the Saiyan before turning his attention back to the Valkyries, who violently swung their whips. The beast took a deep breath and pressed his hands together, the white energy between the two glowing brighter and brighter until it erupted from his body in a massive shockwave. The Valkyries hissed at both Gogeta and Zenta and flew off at blinding speeds towards the Fusion and the beast. Their whips began to change into thorny whips and spikes began to jut out of their backs. Their appearance started to show more 'armor-like' crystal formations, and they were capable of taking harder blows and dishing them back. The Valkyries let out an ear-piercing screech before flying towards the duo.
The snapped their whips at Gogeta first, wrapping it around his ankle and yanking him into the sky with them. The thorns dug into his leg and the whip acted like a snake, coiling and constricting around him, getting tighter and tighter. As they flung Gogeta through the sky, they whip lashed him towards the ground with incredible force. Another Valkyrie charged at Zenta and lashed her whip towards the beast, allowing it to wrap around his arm. It tried to pull Zenta into the sky, knowing he can't fly, but the beast kept his footing. Gripping the whip while it was on his arm, he yanked the Valkyrie towards him to slam his left palm in the center of its chest, creating a small shockwave behind it. The Valkyrie stopped moving and went limp before Zenta swiftly wrapped the whip around its neck and yanked as hard as he could, popping its head off. The Xy'pher twitched before falling on its knees and slumping forward.
The body then began to move and convulse violently until its back faced Zenta. The whip still tied around Zenta's arm shot into the ground, held the beast in place by his arm. Zenta grunted as the headless Xy'pher fired the several spikes located on its back towards the pinned beast. At that moment, another headless Xy'pher emerged from the ground, this one looking directly at the President, and firing the crystals at him. Being held in place and having two Xy'phers firing at him, he looked back and stomped his foot hard on the ground to force a giant slab of earth to jut out from the ground in order to protect the President. He quickly turned to the one in front of him and, using only his one arm, deflected the crystals away from him. He had to work twice as hard, deflecting the crystals and trying to free his arm.
I am caught in a horrible situation. I cannot keep this up forever... Still... this is getting so... exciting.

As Avalon took the hit from Goku's shoulder, the air from his lungs left all at once, and when Berserk slammed on to him, he gasped from the hit. He groaned in pain but managed to sit up and glanced at Goku, trying to see what he could identify as a weak point. His poor toad stopped rolling and had a hole right through it, letting out a pained croak. Slowly rising up to his feet, Avalon spat to the side, silently thinking to himself and studying Goku's moves. The Golems that were blasted by Bara and shattered by Bage exploded into pieces, but, like all the others, they started to regenerate.
"No, he's gotta have a weak point somewhere, they all do..." Avalon said to Berserk, pushing himself to his feet. He thought about what Berserk mentioned, as well as the interesting techniques the others performed. "C'mon Avalon... think. Those Xy'pher Golems are going to probably regenerate soon, thanks to those tiny pieces moving on their own... There's gotta be somethin' we ain't tried yet..."
Avalon stared back at his toad for a moment until Bage's technique caught his attention and in a second he immediately thought up a plan, but before he had a chance to call to the Detective, Goku's next technique cut them off. He had to move quickly and efficiently from the air pressure heading towards him. The ninja quickly performed hand signs before grabbing Berserk and releasing a powerful blast of water from his feet, propelling him and the Powerpunk out of the way and towards his toad, and thanks to Brachi's distraction, they came out unharmed. Avalon scurried to his toad to inspect the damage and bit his lip. He noticed the tiny moving crystal pieces trying to regenerate and reform the Golems from before.
Damn, damn! We can't let those things form again! But how do we stop it from regenerating..?! Think Avalon, think!
Avalon gasped, almost as if an idea sparked in his head. Without waiting time, he quickly performed rapid hand signs and watched his toad poof into a giant cloud of smoke, engulfing him as well. From the smoke emerged thousands of smaller toads. One in particular landed on Berserk's head with the Scroll of Truths in its mouth and seemed to be a different color than the rest. It was genuinely comfortable on top of her wild hair. Avalon frantically started to gather as many toads as he could, stuffing them in his shirt and scarf. He looked ridiculous, but the look in his eyes showed how serious he was. "Gather those crystal fragments, now!"
The toads all croaked and began jumping towards the moving crystal pieces, eating them up to prevent the regeneration process or at least slow it down. The toads that were not gathering Xy'pher bits were hopping towards the smaller Xy'phers behind Goku, slowing them down and distracting them from the main Xy'pher threat. As much as the toads tried to stop the Golems from reforming, they were dragged into the cluster that eventually reformed the Golems. Inside those Golems, however, was the paper the hundreds of toads were made out of. It looked like the paper did little to stop or weaken the Golems, and the little toads seemed to have died in vain.
The Golems repositioned themselves, this time one on top of the other. The one on the bottom began to morph its arms and legs into crystal wheels to help it move around quicker. The one on top slowly began to merge with the one on the bottom so that both of them combined looked like a crystal tank. The top of it had an 'open hatchet' in which the flying Xy'phers from above dropped the suicide children Xy'phers in which the Xy'pher Tank would use as ammo to fire them at Bara, Jize, and Brachi. However, this tank had two barrels! One fired the children, and another fired a large drill-crystal towards Berserk. The toad on Berserk's head croaked, slapping its pudgy hand on her forehead to warn her before grabbing on to her ribbons, preparing for the worst. The crystal landed on the floor next to Berserk, creating a giant crater and pulling her in. It split open, releasing spear-like crystals towards the Powerpunk, jabbing her in the arm and slashing her body as it spun wildly within the crater. (Think of a Beyblade battle)
Finally, with hundreds of croaking toads in his shirt, scarf, and pants, Avalon rushed to Detective Goku as fast as he could before going behind Goku and placing him in a choke hold from behind. The Xy'phers screeched, slashing at Avalon's back, trying to get him off of Goku. Avalon hacked in pain, but called out to Bage in a desperate plea.
"Detective Bage! That technique you used earlier! Use it again! Trap me and Goku!" He did not know how much longer he could hold on until the Xy'phers stopped attacking him and began to head straight for Bage, trying to stop him before he attempted to do the deadly technique again. "Detective Bage!"

As the crystal bullets were nulled by Spina, Spawn, and Bernkastel, the jets spun in the air elegantly to regain distance and prepare another round. However, thanks to Bernkastel's beams of erratic light, the Crystal jets had to perform quick hairpin turns and hold off their attack. They had to dip and slip between buildings in order to avoid the beams of light as best they could. One jet was unfortunate enough to be caught in Spawn's blade, which ruined its wing, and, in turn, lead to it getting hit by Bernkastel's lasers. The jet spun out of control, heading directly towards the helicopter with Chad and Stacey. In a fiery explosion, the pilot, a single Xy'pher, parachuted out of the carnage. One of the jets managed to fly by its comrade and scoop him up, letting the Xy'pher pilot merge with the jet. The fallen pilot began to morph into a tail gunner, allowing this particular jet to fire crystals from the front and back. There was some communication between the two jet pilots before the two of them spun and narrowly avoided the eye beams from Spina. Both Jets released mini crystal missiles that aimed directly for Bernkastel, Spawn, and Spina. They came close to the trio and exploded into a bright light, blinding the three. While the three were stunned, the jets' wings sharpened, giving the planes more speed and a deadly slicing attack.
In a rapid motion, the planes rushed between the three, slashing at them with their wings as they passed, like flying knives. A deep slash appeared on Spina's chest, another one Bernkastel's back and arm, and Spawn ended up losing his one of his legs; the other one was just flesh hanging off the bone.

As the dogs were taken down one by one by Cayde and May, they remained motionless for a while. The few dogs that Vegetto managed to take out shattered into pieces. Thanks to the efforts by Cayde and May, most of the dogs were wiped out. However, the moment was short-lived; the dogs began to twitch and rise up once again, their wounds healing. The let out a snarl towards May and Cayde before taking a pack formation. They kept trying to snatch Emilyn away, but it seemed that now Cayde and May were their main focus. A larger crystal dog, the leader, let out some barks and the dogs quickly moved into action.
A small group ran out to Cayde first before dispersing to rush him from the left and right. Two dogs approached from his left and right as one bit down on both his wrists, digging their claws into the dirt to hold him in place and prevent him from firing his guns. The second dog continued to run directly towards him and opened its mouth wide, showing what looked like a mini machine gun in its throat. Emilyn, being quick on her feet, grabbed a nearby pipe and trash lid, using it as a shield to protect herself and Cayde from the barrage of crystal bullets coming to his left. She used the pipe to swat at the dog on his wrist. Every time she swatted at the dog, she either missed or barely hurt it, but at least she helped Cayde from what could have been a potentially fatal move and gave him more breathing room. The dog to his right, however, fired at both of them. Emilyn gasped, ducking behind Cayde and her little trash shield.
Another group of dogs ran towards May and began to dig furiously at the ground. Out from the holes they dug, they yanked out crystals that looked like grenades. With grunts from the larger crystal dog, the smaller ones ran towards May and 07, throwing the crystal grenades to the soldier and her maid. When they exploded, they released hundreds of crystal needles directly on May and 07.
Meanwhile, the mean dog eyed both Cayde and May like prey, watching, learning, and waiting. The crystal fragments from the exploded Xy'phers (from Banshee Blast) began to move and relocate on the alpha dog, forming two lumps on its shoulders that eventually formed into heads. It grew massively, almost towering over the group. Its claws were sharper, and it had bottom fangs that jutted out of its mouth. Its two heads each had a mind of its own, but seemed to obey the center head. The three dogs each opened their mouths, one fired machine gun rounds, the other fired needled, and the other fired grenades at the group.
