The cats around Spina consequently became more freaked out due to having such little time to process one extreme event following another. Upon seeing the blasts rain down, some chose to hide under Spina or nearby objects while others simply scattered and dashed out around piles of building rubble.
Bernkastel was tracking down the familiars on foot but the mixed-up information flying into her thoughts was equally as distracting as the chaos unfolding around her like the earthquakes. Glancing up into the air she felt her breath catch in her throat as she saw Gogeta attacking from midair, cascading pink blasts down at something... which was exactly where she could sense the cats had gathered before scattering. Forcing her burning legs to keep going, Bern continued running toward where they were coming down. Not long after the blasts were fired the Witch could see some of her familiars run out in her direction, away from the attack site. Gritting her teeth, she dashed past them and only stopped once she could see Bage and Spina in front of her. Her legs became like jelly from running on foot, Bern tripping over herself and falling onto the ground just behind them before letting out a pained yelp from scraping her knees against gritty rubble.
"Spina! They told me everything, I'm here--" Bernkastel dragged herself across the concrete crawling to him before her eyes fell on the pipe coming out of Spina's torso. The sight made her glance up at Gogeta with a disgusted look of rage; forcing herself not to be swallowed up in it she spoke to Bage. "I'll handle Spina's injury if you can keep him at bay long enough. We don't have to worry about Roya anymore." Bern's hands nervously grasped the pipe, hesitant about having to take it out knowing she can't perform her healing magic otherwise. "I have enough energy to repair this wound, but the pipe has to come out. You have to trust me enough to not move," the witch told Spina with an urgent tone. "So don't die, okay?!"

"Tch. She got away," Berserk pouted upon seeing Roya disappear. "Well, whatever! If you can't take the heat better stay out of the kitchen, so we win fair n' square! Whoa!" Berserk clung to the avian upon the sudden flash of an exchange of pink energy blasts. "Looks way too dangerous to go down there right now... we might fall into a fissure if another earthquake happens. Can't drop the bottle or the paper thing." Berserk tapped the bird to see if it could fling Lucifer onto its back with her. "Bage makes it look easy, so what's the deal about opening the bottle? It's a good thing we didn't have to go down by those creepy tunnels to get it..."
