"How predictable. When a comrade is placed into a position like this, your immediate instinct is to tryand damage my pride? It would make me laugh if it didn't generate some sense of pity I have for your little friend." Eyva dismissed their emotions with an air of callous contempt.
Vala's sense of strength came back to her body thanks to Gold's healing, but she could still feel the dull ache of the markings lining her hands and practically cupping her face along her lower jaw, ending just at her cheekbones. From her renewed resistance, Eyva tightened her grip on Vala's hood.
"In the time you've spent throwing dull insults at me, I could easily have slit her throat! Surely, you wouldn't give me the time of day to do tha- what?" Suddenly the hood slumped over. Eyva looked down and saw Vala on the floor down below. She had raised her arms up to allow herself to slip out and under her grip. Even though she landed on her knees, Vala grabbed her staff and slowly rose up. It seemed the hood she had was merely just a long robe, since she had under it a gray top and black skirt which were previously hidden by her hooded robe.
"You should have grabbed me by the neck instead. I wouldn't have gotten out of there so easily if you did. Guess... you aren't as cunning as you think." She taunted through tired breaths. It was thanks to Gold's magic she was able to move at all. Otherwise she probably would have been used as a rag doll.
"You little..." Eyva growled. "But you're still one less worry, compared to the other three..." As long as Vala had those strange markings, she seemed to be hindered in her agility.
"Then I'll start by piercing you all until you look like sea urchins!" Eyva flapped her glowing wings, which flung out sharp feathers powered by her energy that flew through the air towards the group.

"Y...you mean, you aren't among the monsters that ad ambushed me?..." The man sweated, though he felt an odd comfort wearing the sweater knitted by such a terrifying looking monster (at least in his perspective, she looked the part). "Wait... did you say 'manor'? As in Belmont Manor?..." He put a hand on his temple and scanned the room they were in. "Ah... this looks like the servants' toolshed..." Immediately his eyes widened in alarm, looking up at Gorecilia. "This manor is mine. I go by Lord Belmont. Have.. have you seen any of the servants manage to escape? Has the place been overrun with m-monsters?..." Lord Belmont asked.
