The wisp floated in a circle before the doors of the large library-like room. "Hyuu!" It felt the dastardly aura from before grow heavier upon it. Once Gold entered, it immediately headed for Vala before stopping in its tracks.
"So your allies have come to your aid after all... disappointing, but an interesting development nonetheless." Eyva closed her eyes briefly. I can sense the presence of the other ones... I shouldn't have let them stay alive when I had the chance.
"But that wouldn't be any fun, would it?" Came a higher pitched voice to her mind, causing her to grin and open her glowing crimson eyes. "Don't disappoint me like the others have. These brutes smashed their lights in. Make it a good show, Eyva. Or else."
With one swift move, Eyva didn't have to move far in order to snatch Vala up from the floor she was collapsed upon. The raven woman held Vala by the back of her cloak out in front of herself with a sneer. "Now, it'd be unfortunate if you were to cut through your little friend here, wouldn't it~? I'd make your next moves count if I were you." Eyva laughed a maniacal jeer before her wings glowed a dark aura, sprouting a second pair of wings accompanied by her nails fully shifting to sharp talons. "Let's see how long this will play out for you! I'll enjoy making you mice dance!" She flapped her wings once to get them both to hover above the carpet.
Vala attempted to kick her legs or squirm, but she was far too weak. "Urrgh... Don't... screw up...." She choked out with a sickly sounding voice with a loosening grip on her staff. It landed on the carpet with a dull thud as she fought to regain her strength.
The Wisp turned to the three and flailed its little flame arms frantically with a wail. "Hyuu!" It faced Eyva and curled its arms up to appear threatening.

"Urrgh.... wh-what?" The man opened his eyes completely before widening and tensing his body up in response to the giant spider woman. "P-Please!! Take anything you want! Please d-don't kill me! Are you going to finish me off after those horrid beasts couldn't?... I beg you to p-please spare my life..." It seemed whatever knocked him unconscious must have completely made him forget where he was or who was talking to him until he regained his vision upon awakening. The color of his face was pale as a ghost.
