(Sorry for the month-long hiatus. I've scrapped my drafted reply to this at least 5 times. Maybe because of the C-C-Combo Breaker!)
Eyva was launched into the air after Gold had hammer-thrown her; she was unable to regain control of her position in midair, which had left her wide open. Excalik's hat had sailed right for her back, the blades making a deep angled slice between her shoulder blades. This made her let out a scream of pain. Eyva instinctively reached for her shoulder blade to try and get the embedded blades out of her back-- her right arm and wing were both sliced through by Allein's weapon. The top wing suffered far more damage, falling down to the floor while she flailed through her effort to stop her arm's bleeding. She let out a screech in a distorted voice.
"A critical hit!" Vala got out, managing a smile. "Now to finish her off!"
"My-my arm...!" Eyva reached out towards her severed wing, Excalik's hat falling to the floor due to her struggling loosening the blades out from her back. "Please... help me..." her voice was a strained whisper.
"Hmph, you expect me to help you again after making me watch that pitiful performance? Sorry, but I'd rather spend my magic energy on something that would actually give me a benefit. Your arrogance was your downfall." The telepathic voice sounded both disappointed and cold. "Get back up and fight, you stupid pile of feathers."
Eyva pushed herself to sit up on her knees, holding her severely injured arm while she tried to get up on her two feet again. She tried to blast more magic with her remaining wings, but pulling her wings back made the blood loss even more prominent, forcing her to stop.

"Please don't eat me, I wouldn't taste very good at all..." Lord Belmont stuttered. "Let's hope that the manor is empty because they all escaped and not because the monsters got to them... it's all so odd... we never have encountered monsters around here in all my years... At least, not so close to the Falls. It's been a century since there were monsters attacking the humans here. What could have brought them to my manor?..."
