"Ohohoho~! A free trip to Empire State sounds relaxing~! Oh, perhaps I can get my lovely hair done! My poor girls have been shedding recently and it's gross." Gorecilia chuckled, much to her snake's hissing discontent. "I should probably head back to the Sisterhood to check up on poor Nicori. Maybe while I'm there, I can find some leads about that Necromancer and her 'Ancient magic.' I can probably use the time to make a cute little scarf for you Vala, or maybe a hat for our mummified cowboy."

Gorecilia caught herself before babbling on.

"Oh, sorry, just thinking about this makes me all jittery and happy. I'll be sure to bring you two some souvenirs~!"

Vala peeked at Wisp who had been hiding in her scarf. It was snoozing away soundly like a baby and emitted warmth without setting any of her clothing on fire. It was a strange creature for sure.

"I don't think a Will o' the Wisp even needs to eat... But it seems skilled at sensing the supernatural. So keeping Wisp doesn't seem like a bad idea at any rate." Vala agreed. "The rain is probably the only thing that endangers it."

She turns to Gorecilia with a look of agreement. "I'll be sure to send the letter over when we're ready then so we can find a meetup point. I don't need any gifts from you or anything..." Vala blushed sheepishly. "But I won't say no if you bring me a present." She added.

"Gifts, eh? I'll be honor to accept any kinds of gifts... I mean, we earned it, I'm telling you..." Excalik tried to spin something positive out of this, making a brand new ally is useful. "We should best be getting out of here... Valerie will definitely be interested of what we discover..."

"Very well, I'll be sure to find something for you two, you guys did help after all."

Gorecilia nodded before lifting herself from the ground after her short rest. She stretched her body and easily towered over the two. Her snakes would let out cute yawns before coiling up, giving Gorecilia curls for her hair.

"I have business with the Sisterhood anyway... That nasty scream we heard during the fight was from a little boy I usually take care of. I might bring him by to say hello, he's such a good little boy! Nicori, that's his name! Oh, I'm babbling again. Vala, you can call me anytime to want, but I think everyone's best interest is to rest up."

"You're telling me... I'm beat." Vala yawned. "I guess you'd best be on your way." She rubbed her forehead beneath her bangs, wincing a bit at doing so. "My body hurts all over even though I got the least of the thrashings today..."

"If you wish, I can have my servant Ivan escort you back to your Guild by carriage. We wouldn't want you walking back out into these woodlands in your condition." Lord Belmont offered Vala and Excalik. He stepped into the room with some of the items Sister Mary brewed for them. "Nobody will mess with Miss Gorecilia but you two look like you're in no condition to be running around. I can have Sister Mary accompany you if you want. I'll stay here and work on fixing up all the damages that horrid witch cooked up..."

"The nuns here won't need me around to know what t' do anyway." Mary handed them each a vitality potion to keep themselves standing for a little while longer. "But a little extra security won't hurt."

"A free ride sounds good. And before we go..." Vala handed Mary the weapons she borrowed before handing Lord Belmont the Vampire Killer whip. "I pocketed it just before we left since it was on the ground. Turns out whips are harder to use than I thought."

"..." Lord Belmont examined the whip and gripped it with both hands. "Thank you very kindly. I know we still have to reward you for saving our town, so do expect some good pay to come your way soon. We'll be sending it extra-secure." He winked.

"Okie dokie, take care little ones~! Please behave yourselves and no naughty business, love birds~!"

Gorecilia waved off to the duo before walking out of the manor.

- Gorecilia left the Manor and headed straight to the Sisterhood of White Magic. -

"A free ride sounds delightfully... these boots are just making my feet taste the sun right now, you know what I mean?" Excalik said as he handed by the items, then waved bye to the gigantic spider. "Hopefully things are a lot more quiet after that... girl disappeared. Plus, there's monsters out there lurking around too... so we gotta recover our strength."

"After that fiasco, a couple rogue monsters here and there are the least of our worries since we deal with them fairly easily. Repairing the manor and preserving my grandfather's treasures will be the highest priority now. It'd be terrible if she ended up getting her hands on any of it," Lord Belmont said, whistling with his fingers outside the window of the manor. A series of hooves clopped along the brick road and stopped in front of the manor, revealing two horses tugging along a carriage.

"You let poor old Ivan have a rest for the night. He's been plenty anxious worrying about the Young Master having been missing for so long!" Sister Mary scolded him. "Come along."

"R-right... be safe!" He called before heading inside, presumably to place the artifacts away for safekeeping.

"I have no idea what you just said, but I assume it means you're worn down to the bone." Vala said while scratching her head in puzzlement of Excalik's strange expressions. "A nice hot meal is the only thing I can think of right now... and a soft bed to sleep in! Any more use of my energy and I might've died from exhaustion instead of losing to that creepy witch." She said as the nun ushered them onto the carriage. Vala yawned loudly before loosening her scarf up for the Wisp to sleep in. "At least we got the job done... this'll be a fun story to tell Valerie."

Vala and Excalik were then escorted by carriage to the Crescent Hunters Guild Hall.
