"V-vala? You okay!?" Excalik seen Vala in pain, but doesn't know why. "This reminds me of earlier..."  Excalik thought to himself. Taking a stance, he gripped onto his dagger and focus. His legs began to glow, as he dashed right behind the raven woman, in attempts to strike at her.

Something snapped in Allein's mind and she reverted to her previous form and passed out. Whike inside her mind she looked around and saw one person she never thought to see, there, looking at her with tears coming out of their eyes.

Crimson looked at Wolf Girl and confused her for dead before picking up Allein, slinging her over his shoulders as he started to walk back upstairs.

The hall Gold and Allein were in on the next floor seemed empty. The silence of the floor was broken only by the pattering of rain on the windows and the ticking of a grandfather clock's pendulum.

==========

"Ah, your choice is to fight me instead of run still?" The raven woman had caught Excalik's hand he intended to strike with, wagging a free finger as her gripping hand glowed an eerie purple. She bent his hand back and downwards before forcefully throwing him against one of the bookshelves facing the walls of the library, causing books to topple out of their shelves and threatening to take the bookshelf down on the man.

"Excalik!" Vala reached towards him but tensed again and curled her body down towards the floor. "Ugh!" Bold lines of dark red began to line her arms and only stopped spreading after reaching the top of her cheekbones. Vala hyperventilated as she tried to breathe and cope with the immense sudden strain on her body.

"Hyuu!" The little Wisp shook in alarm from the sudden turn of events, floating over to Vala to try and comfort her.

"Y-you need to get out of here... Find the others, now!!!" Vala strained to speak to it, nudging it with her staff to get it to move outwards. "Anyone here..."

"Pathetic. Is that all? You will have to try much harder if you are to stop us from destroying this human town."

Now the boss battle begins...!!

The wisp was unsure who she meant, but immediately it floated out of the room, going unnoticed by the woman since she was focused on Excalik. Its quiet wail of a siren started echoing throughout the halls of the floor, in search of someone who could aid Excalik now that Vala was down.

Allein looked at the girl and said "Why have you brought me here sister?" The girl only said "because, you forgotten me." Allein said "no I haven't, you are always with me. Why do you say that?" " Quit lying and admit it! I'm just that easy to forget, I know I am. So quit lying and just go." Allein shook her head and hugged her sister. "I'm not going anywhere."

A large spider monster was walking around the outskirts of the manor, her hands busy on knitting a small sweater fit for a child. Her humming was soft and her voice was angelic. She noticed a man face down in the mud and in some blood as well. She tilted her head, curious as to who it might be but she knew leaving him there isn't the right thing to do. She placed the small sweater in a little web sack and took a hold of the man. She cradled him gently in her arms.

"Oh my, I wonder what happened to you. Poor thing..."

She looked around for some shelter and decided to head to a small little shack just outside the manor. Being as big as she is, she had to rip the door off the hinges to even attempt fitting inside. She let out an annoyed sigh and destroyed part of the wall to slip in. Once inside, the spider beast would gently place the man on a sofa, patching up any wounds with her soft silk.

"I hope the owner of this manor doesn't get too upset with the broken wall..."

Excalik struggle to get out of the way as the book shelves came down falling—however, it managed to slam onto the back of his ankles, causing him to nearly topple over towards the floor. “S-shit!” He looked around the room and noticed Vala—seems to be in pain. He turns back to the Eyva as his eyes narrowed.

“That power…” He began to think that his options is about to run out. Should he just run away, grabbed Vala? Or should he fight? He doesn’t know what the hell is going on—but he needs to act fast. Determined. He gripped tightly onto the dagger he was still holding and barely stand up against the woman.

“Hey old hag! Don’t count me out just yet! I haven’t even begun to warm up yet!” Excalik tried to act tough. He gritted his teeth and tipped his hat. It reveals blades on the tip when he lifted it off of his head. He threw the spinning hat at such speed towards the woman.

The man groaned groggily in his sleep. It seemed he would wake up soon if not right then. "My head..." he muttered.
=========

The Wisp continued its distressed wailing until its little eyes fell upon Gold first as it floated forward. "Hyuu!!" It squeaked in his face, flailing its little arms of flame. It pointed in direction of the loud booming noises sounding out through the other side of the mansion's hallways.

=========

"Old hag?! Why you insolent--" Eyva got ready to charge forward but stopped once she saw Excalik's hat sail directly for her. With such little chance to react, she moved to the side. Alas, she wasn't fast enough, as the blades sailed past the side of her head. In its path, it left a deep cut on her cheekbone with blood trailing down her cheek. Her folded wing was also cut through, several feathers cut off and floating to the floor-- Eyva could feel the blood rush out and through the surrounding feathers.

"You're lucky you landed a hit on me like that..." She narrowed her eyes as her pupils shrunk. "You won't be allowed a hit like that again!" Holding out one arm in front of her, her hand glowed once more and formed some kind of set of claws to strike him with, charging forward. She winced in pain with her movement.

"Ugh.... damn..." Vala had little strength to hold herself up further, laying on the carpet watching the fight continue with glassy eyes.
How long will it continue?... it hasn't hurt this much in so long, and lasted like this...
"Why can't he just run and wait for.... backup..." Her voice was little above a whisper.

Allein regained herself and found herself near the fight, having no memory of getting there. Her sister said "This one looks tough lets combine our powers." Allein nodded and then entered, saying "You folks just stay back." She swung her arm back as a black and silver scythe with her usual blade on the bottom appeared in her hand and she split them, showing a chain connecting them. "I got this. Just rest up."
