Berserk was so engrossed in watching the way Vegetto moved with such precision as he fought Eleki, she almost forgot they weren't out of the woods yet. Even focusing, I've got a hard time just keeping up with my eyes... he's crazy strong! She shook her head and jumped to her feet once Cayde moved close. Her eyes locked onto Avalon's motionless stance even as Cayde went to his aid, furrowing her brows and pressing her lips into a thin line before turning her back to face the Xyphers. Now's not the time to lose face Avalon! Snap out of it...!

"Hmph! I've got enough left in me to put up a good fight," Berserk raised her sword back as her eyes glowed crimson. Through her hand, the blade glowed a bright red before swinging it at the crowd of Xy'phers to unleash a hot blast of concentrated energy at them. "But we don't have enough to fight forever-- and we still have to get the unconscious ones with us. What if we combined it all into one big blast? That oughta clear a path, wouldn't it?" She asked Bage and Brachi. "It's what I'd do if my sisters were here."

Brachi sighed.

"I'd love to try to do my part," she said to Berserk, "but I don't think it would be enough. If I was at full strength, it wouldn't be a problem..."

"Bara and I will help; we have some energy left, so we can add to the energy needed..." Jize said.

"Curse that Roya and those stupid illusions she casted." Brachi then muttered, feeling utterly disgusted with her current helplessness at this time, wanting to summon that energy needed, yet found herself unable to, something she didn't understand as she was part android after all; there HAD to be SOMETHING she could do...

As Avalon was saved by Cayde, his expression didn't change all too much. Even when hoisted back up to his feet, the man kept a stern emotionless gaze towards the floor. His thoughts continued on to how he was so sure of his plan and how he almost got the Breakers killed. However, despite his reaction, he still had to help Cayde and the other Breakers somehow. With little energy to do anything, all he could do is rely on his fists and brute force. Thanks to the efforts of Cayde, the Xy'phers that nearly killed him shattered to bits, and the ones that were nearby scattered away. Avalon took hold of one of the diamond limbs and used it as a means to defend himself and help Cayde out.

When Berserk and Bage unleashed their attacks on the Xy'phers, more of them shattered, leaving behind Crystalized Coins, yet, they barely left a dent in their numbers. The horde paused, albeit, for a very brief moment, almost as if appearing hesitant. Once the Xy'phers realized that the Breakers will be getting some help, they appeared to be annoyed. As Cayde reloaded, a Xy'pher jumped into the air in the attempt to pull him to the ground, however, using the sharp arm of a fallen Xy'pher, Avalon managed to jab the Xy'pher away from Cayde before it did anything.

"Hope you have enough ammo," Avalon said as he jabbed another Xy'pher away from Cayde as he reloaded. "This horde chased us through the whole city and they won't let up! There has to be well over a million..."

With the Breakers preparing to fight back against the Xy'phers, with the help of Cayde, the crystallized beings rushed in. However, without the help of the Elite guiding them, they had no organization or coordination in their attacks. It was a mindless free-for-all. The horde rushed towards all the Breakers with the intention to run them over like a stampede. The trees around the Breakers would fall down like twigs as the horde grew closer, taking down anything in their way.

Eleki attempted to brace himself for Vegetto's elbow but was caught by his swift movements. He flew back and a wave of pain engulfed his body as Vegetto unleashed a fury of fists on the Xy'pher. Taken back at how powerful these punches are, the Elite could do little in close quarters. He quickly crossed his arms in front of his chest and shot them forward to unleash an electrical pulse from his palms that pushed Vegetto away from him. He stared down at his chest and noticed small visible cracks.

"Huh, you hit a lot harder than the others," Eleki said wiping off some spit from his mouth. "That definitely makes you very special. The King would no doubt love having a person like you to serve him."

The Elite-Xy'pher smirked as sparks began to fly from his feet. He extended his arm and electrical sparks began to surround it. He was struck by lightning and seemingly disappeared from view. Countless bolts of lightning struck the ground both near and far from Vegetto until one bolt shot horizontally towards the man, then another, and another. Finally, Eleki reappeared a couple of meters behind Vegetto. His feet were entirely covered with electricity and allowed him to zip through the sky with ease while in his hand he held a bow made purely out of lightning, pointing it at Vegetto. The hand that was surging with electricity earlier made lightning arrows automatically for him.

"I'm gonna have fun with you. I mean, you're the first person who managed to put a tiiiiiiny crack on my body," Eleki pulled back on the string from his electrical bow, and a lightning arrow formed as he took aim for Vegetto. "...And I don't fuckin' like that..."

Eleki released the string and fired a bolt of lightning that traveled faster than a normal one. Thanks to the electricity around his feet, he zipped quickly from one spot to the next, firing more bolts at Vegetto as he continued to keep distance between him and the Fusion. Finally, Eleki reeled the string back and aimed straight up into the clouds. The lightning arrow that formed was bigger and when he released it, it exploded into hundreds of smaller lightning arrows that literally rained down on Vegetto. The Elite smirked towards Vegetto as he laughed maniacally.

Cayde continued his immediate fumbling with his hand cannon of a pistol, his head perking a bit in hearing Lucifer. However, before he could reply, he gasped at the loud sound of the X'ypher being impaled on a fallen one's arm, glancing up. He nodded very briefly to Avalon, and his mechanical voice rung out with both a sense of light hearted confidence despite the actual content of his words in reply to Avalon's statement about bringing enough ammo.

"I didn't!"

Cayde somberly straightened himself out, watching the immense horde of X'yphers charging in. He paused for a brief moment, raising his gun with a somewhat neutral and non-chalant tone in steadying his aim.

"Well, if you guys [Beserk, Brachi and Bage] can't get that big blast of energy to clear a path, I just want to say that I'm a huge fan and when we die here, I hope we can all come to enjoy our servitude to the zombie king."

The occasional bang of his gun rung out, Cayde indiscriminately firing off round after round. The bullets lacked the strange power he had displayed moments earlier in freeing Avalon, but even despite hitting their marks, the sea of X'yphers remained unchanged under the mere individual that fell to each of his shots while Cayde light heartedly joked to himself.

"Got you. Got you. Got you."

Vegetto floated back from the sudden expulsion of eletricity from Eleki, his arms at his side. He remained silent at the elite's mention of the King, his eyebrows only perking a bit in the potential revelation of information on the one in charge. However, his expression returned to its normal firm stare in realizing Eleki would not elaborate any further on his own.

The Potara fusion naturally tensed up as Eleki charged forward, preparing for the incoming assault until the elite vanished from view. The flash of lightning did little to deter Vegetto; his eyes following an unseen force for a minute and the man unmoving from his position as lightning struck around him. However, Vegetto gasped and whirled around quickly, having only responded in time for the first lightning bolt to strike his extended two fingers from his right hand. The electricity coiled around his forearm, and with a grunt, Vegetto flicked his arm to the side to expel the devastating energy out towards the ground. He flew up, rising in the air and using his arms to act as a conduit for the lightning; the energy in his body fluctuating and guiding the electrical bolts out his opposite appendage.

Vegetto grimaced, straining to keep pace and throwing away bolt after bolt shot by Eleki. Yet his eyes turned to the side, in seeing the horde charge towards the Breakers and Cayde, Vegetto tossed a few bolts down to try and thin the massive sea.

He stopped, however, once the fire from Eleki ceased. Vegetto blinked in seeing the shot fired to the sky, and turning his head up, the Potara fusion floated by while the massive surge of electrical bolts rained down from the sky. He immediately floated down, and upon seeing all of the bolts heading directly for him, Vegetto canted his head a bit and tensed up his muscles with a deep breath.

"Alright body...don't fail me now!"

Vegetto suddenly threw up his arms, palms open as the lightning funneled down into his hands. His dual voice rung out in a monstrous roar, the electricity and sheer might of the overwhelming force crackling around his entire body. His arms and legs began to slowly swell up; a side effect of the technique he was using to seemingly absorb the lightning bolts raining down on him. Vegetto's pupils wildly glanced around in seeing the change slowly take effect on his body; his entire frame expanding outwards and his muscles gradually ballooning out to see his body expand out in size by tenfold.

Vegetto blinked, struggling to lower his arms down from the sheer size of his obese body in floating in the air. Lightning crackled violently around his entire body; an aura of electricity nearly forming like flame from the sheer leakage of energy all around him. Yet once Vegetto realized he had completely control over his movements, he suddenly broke out into a cocky smirk, his eyes turning down to the horde rushing in.

Inhaling deeply, Vegetto suddenly lurched his neck forward and down, his mouth massively expanding outward. The mountainous energy that he had absorbed from Eleki's attack shot forth from his mouth; hundreds of lightning bolts raining forth and rapidly closing in on the charging horde that were only feet away from the Breakers at this point. As Vegetto expelled the lightning, his body began to slowly shrink down back to its normal size.

Once Vegetto had finished redirecting the last bit of Eleki's attack down to his own kind, he slowly straightened himself out and turned to face the elite. He kept a confident smirk, his right arm raising up and using the back of his gloved hand to wipe the side of his mouth in a mocking manner. He gave the elite X'ypher a small wink with his right eye; the right hand lifting out and waving Eleki on to taunt him into continuing.

Lucifer narrowed his eyes at Vegetto’s display of skill and power, outright using Eleki’s attack to destroy scores o Xy’phers right in front of them. It was a clear difference from that of Gogeta, whom mostly did the same thing—except putting all the Breakers in harm’s way as well.

Seeing this as an opening, Lucifer jumped on Cayde’s back without warning. “We got an opening now, so if you can buy me some time… just for a few seconds, then I can ensure you that we’ll have some breather moment and turned the ties to our favor… just for a bit however.”  He ended his sentence with an evil smirk on his face. “You’re a strong one, right Berserk? Try distracting them a bit since I’m sure you don’t need energy to use that mighty strength of yours.”

With Bage’s barrier still active, albeit weak due to taking blows, and the current horde being annihilated in front of them, Lucifer slapped Cayde’s shoulder, as if he was scolding a horse. “Hiyah! Go forward stranger—don’t just stand there. Hasten your movements.”

As the horde grew closer and closer to the Breakers, they stopped and looked up to see a large blast of electricity coming right at them. With no time to move or react, a large chunk of the horde was incinerated or shattered to bits. Those that remained were paralyzed and shocked at how rapidly their numbers fell. For a moment, they looked back at the Breakers, hesitant on their next move.

As Vegetto launched the electrical attack towards the horde, Eleki's jaw dropped at how easily he cut their numbers. His expression went from cocky to stunned in a moment. It didn't help when Vegetto taunted him right after. He gripped his bow tightly and growled under his breath. His soulless eyes shined and glittered at the lightning striking nearby. A thin black aura surrounded his body but it appeared that he was unaware of it. His body shook from the anger that his own attack is used to cut down the army he made. It seemed that the energy from the Black Crystals Eleki was made out of started to react with his behavior.

"You... You..!" Eleki's voice shifted slightly, almost sounding distorted and out of control. "Do you know how many people I had to kill to get these Xy'phers?! This whole city is under my control! I own it! You're just a nobody compared to me!"

Eleki pulled back on the electrical string, firing another shot towards Vegetto. As he zipped through the sky, his bolts started to change color, from pale blue to indigo. Once again, he pulled back on the string and fired a shot, but this one curved, aiming to hit Vegetto on his side. As the bolts of lightning fired, they started to show a thin black outline, similar to the aura Eleki had. The Dark Crystal's energy was starting to infuse with his attacks, yet, the Xy'pher seemed completely unaware.

"I managed to bring the Breakers to their knees! You are nothing to me! You hear me?! Nothing!!!"

As Eleki pulled back on the string once more, he fired a shot into the air that split into five bolts of lightning. Each one rushed to Vegetto in an unpredictable fashion, homing in on the Fusion. The lightning bolt was stronger and it absorbed any electricity nearby. One managed to strike Vegetto's leg and thanks to the energy of the Black Crystal, the attack would also drain him of his energy upon hitting him. The sudden drain of energy from his leg followed by an electrical shock that felt like it flowed through his veins and throughout his body. A second bolt struck Vegetto on his shoulder, draining his energy and shocking him in the process.

"You won't beat me..!"

Brachi blinked as she watched the large blast of electricity wiping out a large chunk of the Xy'phers at that, and Bara and Jize were as equally surprised.

"Well, this is certainly an interesting turn of events." Jize said, nodding at this in respect, while holding her trident closely, waiting to see what the Xy'phers would do next.

Bara on her turn was concerned about both Zenta and especially Brachi, as Brachi had sat down on one knee, as if she was trying to get some stamina back, using the electric attack Vegetto had fired as a way to try and get a tiny little bit of rest in, leading to the Majin giving a supporting hug to her bestie.

"Distract 'em huh? Looks like that'll be easy," Berserk turned on her heels toward the leftover Xy'phers and gave a wicked grin now that Vegetto gave them a hefty opening to work with. "Maybe we ought to play a game more to their liking. How about Rock, Paper, Scissors? Except I'm gonna choose rock..." Berserk forcibly jammed the hooked end of her sword into the ground to make a web of cracks. Stepping forward, she thrust both arms into the borders and raised a sizeable slab of earth over her head.

"And all of you are gonna choose run!" She grinned as she hurled the slab towards the crowd of creatures, proceeding to throw whatever other chunks of rubble she could use as a blunt force projectile. "Rock beats anything if it's thrown hard enough, even other rocks!"

"Well, I don't have much but with at least three of us, I think we can manage." Bage nodded the Berserk, drawing closer to the group, his thought was instantly cut off as the Xy'phers numbers were cut down drastically by the stray electric blast. The detective released the barrier around them, sighing in relief at this positive turn in the situation. "Alright then. This will be a lot easier now."

Bage watched Berserk attempt to take down the remaining Xy'phers continuing her assault with smaller rocks. He followed her lead by shooting ki blast toward the group of Xy'phers, careful not to waste a single shot.

"Arghh!! No wait!""

Cayde fumbled dramatically, swaying from side to side. The weight of the child like Lucifer landing on his shoulders threw the android off entirely, and in his spinning, Cayde nearly toppled over into the mud with both of them. Yet he soon found his bearings, holding his arms out to the side a bit to try and get control of his balance.

"Damnit kid...you're really screwing up my heroic gunslinger schtick!"

He perked his head up, however, upon seeing Beserk hurling massive rocks forward at the thinned out crowd of Xy'phers. Cayde grunted in batting away Lucifer's arm, but did not immediately refuse the order and suddenly bolted into a run while calling out over his shoulder in a loud, mechanical voice.

"Ok fine! But if we're getting swarmed, don't try to help!! I'd rather die getting ripped apart by these things than a giant rock smushing me!"

Cayde held up his gun, firing off a couple of shots into the sea while the boulders rained down from above across the still monstrous sea of Xy'phers. He reached down to his belt line, his hand scooping up a few small glowing orbs out from his front pouch. Stopping in place, Cayde suddenly tossed up four of the glowing white energy orbs into the air in front of Lucifer without warning him.

"Hey kid, catch! Make yourself useful up there and throw out some of these fun toys at the black sea of these thingies."

Vegetto's eyes followed the first lightning bolt fired after the pause, his right arm raising slightly in preparation for the line the arrow followed. However, he let out a small gasp at the sudden curve, and his left knee shooting up. Tilting his hips to the side, Vegetto grunted as he punted the arrow away with his knee just before it could hit his side. His eyes turned down to see the small shield of white energy covering his knee distorted and shattered from the defense, prompting his eyes to narrow a bit.

The Black Crystal is powering his attacks now. He's losing control of it...I'll have to finish this right now.

A burst of wind erupted forth from around the Potara fusion's body once more, a dramatic spike in energy rising. He grimaced a bit under the sheer volume of electricity swirling around him from the arrows lodged in his leg and shoulder. He clenched his fists together, letting out another pained roar in struggling under the massive electricity coursing around him. The bolts of pure energy lodged in his limbs began to slowly shrink; Vegetto's concentration and effort entirely on absorbing the very electrical and elemental energy that damaged him. As his power spiked, the arrows began to slowly shrink down into his body.

A white gleam shined on his body shortly after; as if a small barrier had been placed. Vegetto suddenly bolted forward, gripping his gloved hands together and rapidly spiking Eleki down to the ground with a heavy grunt. Landing a few feet opposite the elite on the ground and kicking up a bit of debris in his landing, Vegetto raised the corner of his mouth into another small smirk.

"Ha, you may have beaten most of them on their own...but the Breakers are a team. You can't just say that after beating one of us; you gotta take down all of us."

Vegetto's aura momentarily flourished as he squatted down, his fists balling up in steadying his stance with a thunderous shout at the final line.

"And I'm...still...standing!!"

Vegetto rocketed forward again, reeling back his right fist for only a split second before he shot forward in a rapid dash, aiming to slam his fist head on with Eleki.

Outside of Reality Metropolis

Gogeta stood with his arms at his side, seeing the sparks of light erupting forth. The storms surrounding the battle seemed to do little to diminish the view, and Gogeta promptly moved forward at the sensing of a familiar energy.

That energy...it's different but...it has to be him!

He grinned happily to himself like a child once more, as if the entire frustration and rage the man felt disappeared at the prospect of meeting one of his only family from his original universe. Gogeta broke out into a small run shortly after, prepared to leave the battlefield, but suddenly yelped in tripping over Spina's arm. The mud splattered in every direction as Gogeta face planted into the ground; the fusion quickly springing up in confusion and rapidly shaking himself dry and clean like a dog from the immense force he unleashed in the simple move.

Gogeta turned his eyes down, staring down at the unconscious Spina. His initial reaction was to frown for a brief moment, slowly turning to face back towards the eruption of energy from the battle.

Maybe I was so mad cause...you were like me. I always beat up Vegetto...kinda like how you beat me up. But I can tell he's gotten stronger...and now, I'm stronger too. So maybe...you being around...is a good thing.

For the first time since the debacle of the entire mission to stop the Diamond King began, Gogeta broke out into another happy grin and promptly bent down to pull Spina forward from the mud while his dual voice had an innocent, naive tone behind it.

"Being free isn't fun anymore...I just want my friends back. Who knows; maybe one day...we can be friends!"

The happy hearted nature of his statement was short lived; the other half responsible for his personality seemingly taking over as Gogeta immediately scowled.

"Maybe not...but if you live, I'll get the chance to beat you all on my own one day!"

Gogeta stopped for a moment after dragging Spina through the mud by his one arm, straightening himself out and letting out a deep, exhausted breath while he stretched his arms and flexed his hips to try and loosen up.

"Whew...I'm tired."
