Bage, like Berserk, was curious about the mentioning of two Breakers in another city. He was aware of some members leaving before he had arrived, but now it would seem identities were important now that they had been taken by the Xy'phers. But that would have to be a question to the breakers for later, if they received a miracle that could help them out of this ambush. The tired detective's faith was waning after Zenta's defeat. This seemed like it would be the end for all of them.

But as Lilith came to their rescue, Bage's face lit up in hope. He could feel just a bit of his energy replenishing, but to the sayian, it was mor than enough to get away. "Thank you so much Lilith!"

Finally he shut his eyes at Brachi's command and covered Lilith's as well. The soon after the Solar flare was cast, Bage hoisted up the now tiny woman and blasted himself into the air with Berserk and Bara, following behind to keep himself between anyone who may give chase while they carried Zenta, Lucifer and Bernkastel.

Brachi and Jize followed suit, making their escape as best as they could, while Brachi on her turn also generated a large energy disc.

"What are you doing, Brachi?" Jize asked.

"Trying to buy us some more time." Brachi replied as she then hurled the large Destructo Disc towards the building next to the place they had just been before, intending to let the nearby abandoned building collapse and bury the Xy'phers underneath it if possible so they would have to climb out of the rubble if they would survive the debris falling on them, but Brachi didn't take the time to simply watch the building collapse, just continuing her way alongside the others, at least happy that her Solar Flare gambit worked this time around.

"Will Zenta and Bernie be okay?" Brachi then asked to any of the others, showing genuine concern for both Zenta and Bernkastel.

Once Zenta fell, Avalon's heart sunk. From all the times he saw the beast fight, it was usually a one-sided battle. Judging by how much respect he had in the group, he was obviously no push-over. Yet, when the beast was defeated, a wave of dread consumed him. He wondered if they would ever escape and if the vision they saw would end up true. All he was waiting for was the giant unknown shadow to eat them.

It never came and when he saw the barrier Lilith put up, his fear-stricken body began to move and react. Thanks to Lilith's efforts and sacrificing her energy to help them out, it was more than enough for Avalon to make clever use of it. He closed his eyes, shielding himself from Brachi's Solar Flare before tossing his scroll high in the air. It disappeared into a puff of smoke before the same bird from earlier flew out. Even though the avian was made out of paper, the rain did not have much of an effect on it. It was more susceptible to fire than water. Letting out a screech, the hawk swooped down for Avalon to latch on to its back and take off into the sky.

Thanks to Brachi's Solar Flare, the Xy'pher-Elite and the other Xy'phers nearby were temporarily blinded, however, the Xy'phers from farther away began to make chase with the running Breakers. Their numbers were so much that it literally looked like a tsunami of crystals following them. It was incredibly beautiful but deadly. Even when Brachi destroyed the buildings with her Disc attack, the Xy'phers that were caught in the falling buildings would only be replaced by the thousands more that overtook it. It only got the Breakers a few minutes, at best.

"Gwaah! What the hell?!" The Electric-Berserker snarled as he was blinded by the Solar Flare. "Cheap moves won't save you in the long run!"

As Eleki (I finally gave him a name!) adjusted his eyes to his surroundings, he noticed the Breakers running away. His shoulders bounced up and down with laughter as he started to charge up electricity around him. The other Xy'phers, the ones still blinded, moved to the side as Eleki's body sparked with a strong current of electricity.

"Yes..! A game! I can see why the King likes 'em so much!" He lowered himself as if he was preparing to sprint. "They're so... much... FUN!"

Finally, the Elite rushed forward, dashing after the Breakers. His entire body was emitted an electrical surge that attracted lightning directly to him, like a lightning rod. Lightning would strike near and around him and any building he passed by would light up thanks to the electricity coming from him. The Xy'phers trailed behind, following and adding to the mass. Eleki noticed the fallen building (From Brachi's attack) and did not slow down. The Xy'phers that were consuming the building quickly dashed to safety as Eleki rammed his shoulder through the structure, shattering it to bits. A bolt of lightning struck upon impact and release a loud roar of thunder. As he gained upon the Breakers, he zipped through broken streets and jumped on the buildings that weren't broken, climbing on them sideways (Like Spiderman) as the smaller Xy'phers copied every move he did.

"Keep runnin' lil' Breakers!" Eleki shouted as he jumped off the building to the next one, however, in between his jump, he pointed a javelin arm towards the Breakers, firing multiple lightning bolts towards them. "Dance for me! Dance!"

As the others took Zenta, Bernkastel, Lucifer, and Lilith, Avalon decided to stall for just a bit more time with the little energy he was gifted. Thanks to his control over water, the heavy rains around him would be put to good use. He guided the hawk to face the wave of Xy'phers following him, especially the ones hopping from building to building. He performed a quick set of hand signs and rain in a small area around him began to slow down until stopping in mid-air. Each drop of rain would stretch out until it looked they looked like needles.

"Water Technique! Thousand Rain Needles!"

The needle-like rain would begin to rush towards the Xy'phers at incredibly fast speeds. The needles would pierce through some of the weaker Xy'phers or make others fall from the buildings. Turning back, he flew towards the safe area, the edge of the whole city, with the other Breakers, hoping that his little move would at least stall a few Xy'phers. He overheard Brachi speaking about Bernkastel and Zenta, a smile forming on his face.

"I think they'll be fine! We just gotta hurry and put them somewhere safe."

I just hope I'm not wrong again...

His smile then turned to a frown as his bird just narrowly avoided a lightning bolt strike from Eleki. Not only did they have to worry about the ones flung by the Berserker, but they also had to worry about the random ones from the sky. "Whoa! Watch out, guys!"

Near the fight between Gogeta and Spina, sparks of electricity would crack around them. The Xy'phers unlucky enough to get caught in their massive attacks would revert to Crystalized Coins. Still, there were just so many and they continued to watch, cheering and waiting as the two continue to fight to the death. Bolts of lightning would crash around them, some dangerously close for comfort. The air around them was electrified and it seemed to mute the loud bangs of thunder overhead. In a way, they could only hear each other and the faint chanting of the Xy'phers. One side cheered for Gogeta, the other for Spina.

(This is just to set up an atmosphere for you guys. It doesn't affect the fight in any way.)

Reality Metropolis

Lucifer’s eyes narrowed once the Solar Flare was cast. “Oh dear.” The angel said, his vision blurred, resulting him shutting his eyes to avoid falling and flailing around. The back of his collar being tucked by Berserk, Lucifer noticed that he was no longer on the ground. “What a troublesome move.” He comments on the Solar Flare—it really hurt his eyes. “Ahhh….” He raised his hand as he complains about his eyes hurting really bad, seeing that his energy is a little better this time around, and generated another barrier to placed around Berserk, Bernkastel and himself against the lightning attacks tossed by Eleki. It wasn’t much, but it should be able to reduce the amount of damage.

After Bage got to Lilith, her body rapidly shrank until she turned into a snake. Just like Lucifer, once she used all her energy, she would revert to this state until she recovers her energy once more—though she’s unable to communicate effectively as a consequence. Coiling around Bage’s neck to avoid being flung away from the high speeds the Detective was going.

Outside of Reality Metropolis

A violent fire flourished around the area like a raging hurricane due to the brilliant pink lights colliding against the forming orbs around Spina. As smoke formed right after from the explosion, Spina quickly reemerged as flames seared off his fur, running towards Gogeta like a rampaging beast, letting out a grisly roar. “Hiyah!” A mixture of black and red once again enveloped the older Saiyan, he swung his right arm up, launching two of the remaining orbs that he managed to form. Like a heat-seeking missile, the two orbs hurl straight towards Gogeta, attacking in all direction with multiple blows.

As the rain starts to fall to wane the flames, Spina brought his energized left arm back, increasing it in size before launching a giant fist towards his direction. “Rising Style – Energized Fist…!!!”

Outside of Reality Metropolis

The explosive energy colliding with Gogeta slammed him into the ground, his pained expression clear as he cringed from the impacts. He bounced back along the ground, tumbling across the muddy ground that built up. Yet he quickly regained his footing, righting himself mid tumble and sliding to a halt on the ground. He swiped up at the air, a bright blue shield of pure energy like a glass panel forming from his command like the shield he used against the Broly of his universe. After one of Spina's orbs bounced off the shield and smashed through the audience of Xy'phers across the way, Gogeta swiped across the air to form another shield to knock the second blast to the other side.

His firey aura flared up immediately, incinerating the mud along his body while his vest and sash flapped up in the tumultuous winds that kicked up in its wake. His baggy white pants were stained by the mud down to his shoes firmly planted in the ground as Spina launched forward with his massive energy fist. Gogeta leaned back, lifting up both arms and spinning his hands around each other in a rapid twirl.

Once the fist had come in range, Gogeta shot out his right hand to push Spina's massive energy fist to the side while he cocked his left arm into a poised position. The simple redirection opened up Spina's midsection once again, and in an instant, Gogeta's free arm shot up with the elbow slamming into Spina's sternum. Gogeta roared, immediately spinning rapidly in place and slamming the side of his left leg into Spina's cheek to send him crashing into the floor below. The resulting shockwave sent Gogeta flying upwards from the momentum bouncing back into him, his body flipping up in rapid succession before he quickly found himself floating high in the air with both arms raised high above his head.

Gogeta's eyes widened to the brim; his pinkish silver hair rapidly flapping around and the mounting energy forming in his palms high above his head resonating with enough force to gradually push the thunderstorm clouds above away under its sheer pressure.

"Haaaaa!!!"

Throwing his arms down, Gogeta let out a monstrous bellow as he rained down hundreds of energy missles once again in a massively more powerful Stardust Fall. The beams threatened to obliterate anything within a fifty meter radius, rapidly closing in on Spina.

Berserk weaved side to side as she flew through the sky above abandoned streets, noticing how the lesser minions seemed to move en masse just in one direction.

"Shit, these bastards are annoyingly fast!" Lucifer's barrier offered them a cushion from being outright exposed, but she knew she couldn't be sloppy. If she needed to, Berserk could count on using her heat vision at least since her arms were full. "Better find a good hiding spot for some distance-- but where? That guy's gaining on us and fast..." The Powerpunk's eyes glowed bright crimson as she began scanning the area for empty places using her X-ray vision. It was weaker than her sisters' visions but she was sure she'd make out the outlines of a Xypher with or without an energy signature through the infrastructure.

"If they're all suddenly on the surface trying to get to us, wherever they'd been hiding from should be empty now. Maybe the tunnels... but that might be a trap," Berserk said as she glanced over at the fissures that had formed recently. "Think we might find an empty city on the other side?" She asked Lucifer, Bage, and Bara while keeping an eye out for another attack from Eleki. "It's a gamble, but these guys look like they can pick apart any building they want."

"Well doesn't seem like we have much of a choice. We could get shot out of the sky at any moment by that Xy'pher or the lightning from the sky. And if we try using their tunnels we may run into another hoard." Bage called to Berserk as he dodged the attacks from Eleki. "But, if you're right and those tunnels are currently empty, we can avoid the storm! At least then all we'll need to worry about is the berserker's attacks. Either way we need somewhere to shake these guys off!"

Outside of Reality Metropolis

“Gaaa….!!!” Spina groaned as his senses rattled in reaction to Gogeta slamming his leg on his cheek. After crashing against the ground headfirst, the old Saiyan pulled himself up and attempts to stand straight but tumbled a bit due to the sharp pain in chest. But any attempts to recuperate ceased when brilliant lights of scattering Ki blasts rained down on him instantaneously. His body being battered with dozens of Ki blasts exploding upon contact, the land he was standing on became scorched earth.

“Arghhh…!” Spina attempted to cast a barrier of Ki around himself, but the multitude of attacks was overbearing that it could not formed properly. Instead, he slightly bends forward before immediately standing straight with his head held high towards the sky and let out a mighty roar. With a tremendous shout, blows majority of the blasts coming towards him—outright causing them to fizzle out due to the high intense wind pressure, while knocking others off course of their intended direction towards the Xy’phers that gathered around.

Griping his fists tightly, a spark of energy erupted from his feet, blasting off from the ground he stood on towards Gogeta in high speeds. Soaring in the air, the old Saiyan changed his tactics in terms of his movements before headbutting Gogeta in the stomach to send him flying back. In pursuit, Spina disappears like a hurricane. He appeared behind the fusion, slamming his knee against Gogeta’s back. “Flowing Strike—Instant Slayer…!” Streams of water erupted from his hand as a single series of blows launched rapidly onto the fusion, before grabbing the back of his head. “Haaaa!!!”

Spina dashed towards the ground as he held onto Gogeta, slamming him against the scorched earth left because of Stardust Falls. As dirt kicked up towards the sky, Spina jumped several feet back as he held his head up high once again. Rain started to fall once again as water dripped across his body. “Flowing Strike….!” His body shook as raindrops were drawn into a singular point, forming just outside of his mouth. “Hydro Cannon!” A powerful stream of water, composed of energy blasted upwards as he turned the direction of his head around, blasting away all the Xy’phers as he made his way towards Gogeta.

"Would it help if the Xy'phers would be distracted by something? Something that keeps them occupied?" Brachi asked.

"What do you mean?" Jize asked.

"From my experience, the only one whom was able to evade capture for so long before he revealed himself was Cell, due to hiding his enery signal from us and being actually running instead of flying. If those Xy'phers are also capable of sensing energy to locate us, we could try to lower that to nil-point where they can't sense us, then using those tunnels to make a getaway if those are indeed empty." Brachi suggested.

"And you feel a second solar flare would be of little effect at this time?" Jize asked.

"I can always try, or we could set up a smoke screen or something to deprave those Xy'phers of their sight in a different way." Brachi replied, waiting on the response of the others

"We should stick to trying to keep out of their line of sight while preserving our energy as much as possible," Avalon said to Brachi. "But I think another Solar Flare will do the trick! Still, there's so many of them We need a way to blind a majority of them at once..."

Avalon noticed the horde quickly approaching them and with their numbers growing, there was little any attacking move would do to slow them down. He bit his finger, thinking carefully of the situation. His mind raced before turning to some of the exposed tunnels down below. Bage was right when he said that they needed to escape the storm or risk being struck by lightning. The tunnels were the only place they could go.

Berserk has a point... these tunnels could be empty since the mass of Xy'phers is above ground... Bage is right, we have to escape this storm and that dude's electric attacks probably don't work well underground... We just need a distraction and a bigger Solar Flare... But how? Think Avalon, think! ..Wait!

"Ok, no time to waste!" Avalon turned to Jize. "I need you to create a sort of barrier right now! Don't sweat on how strong it is, it won't be used to block anything! Make it as big as you possibly can! After that, you need to immediately tell Bage and Berserk to head into one of the tunnels ASAP!" The ninja then turned to Brachi. "I got a plan that'll boost your Solar Flare. On my signal, I need you to cast a Solar Flare. Once you cast it, we need to get the heck outta here and into those tunnels!"

I just hope it works! We're betting the last of our energy with this one...

Just as Berserk predicted, most of the tunnels would be empty since most of the horde would be above ground in their attempts to capture them. Many of the exposed tunnels had little to no Xy'phers within them, so taking them would be their best option. It will also help them escape the bolts of lightning from the sky. While some of the tunnels appeared to be ruined, the ones that were intact were study and reliable. The only issue was that it was very dark but it would at least keep them hidden for a little while.
