"W-What the?!" Avalon shouted as he yanked Berserk behind him, ready to defend against the Xy'phers until Lucifer put up his barrier. The barrier, under the immense weight of the Xy'phers, began to crack.

Before Avalon could help out the child, he, Berserk, and Lucifer were quickly covered and overwhelmed by the Xy'phers breaking through the barrier. The creatures trampled all over the three of them, occasionally taking a stab at them with their javelin-like limbs. With quick kicks and punches, Avalon managed to shove a few of them off but was soon met with ten more. The Xy'phers then turned sight on to Spina, towering above him and pushing him to the floor, overwhelming him with sheer numbers. The number of Xy'phers that flooded the apartment was so many that some ended up trampling themselves in order to catch the Breakers.

A few Xy'phers jumped on to Zenta's back, pushing him to the floor and immediately rushing on top of the beast. He fell and felt the incredible weight of Xy'phers on his body, scratching and stabbing at his body. As much as he tried, Zenta could no longer use his energy to fling off the enemy. He could no longer see the energies of Spina and the others since they were completely covered with Xy'phers. With the situation going from bad to worse, in a way, Zenta has almost given up until he remembered the voice of Cuki, echoing in his head.

Master, promise that you'll keep an eye on them...especially Kettles.

With little to no energy left, all Zenta could do was use brute force to take them off. His muscles still ached from the events earlier and he forced himself back up to his feet and rushed towards a wall, slamming himself against it to remove some of the Xy'phers from his body. With his arm free, he grabbed some of the Xy'phers from his body and flung them towards the ones attack Spina, Avalon, and Berserk. The impact broke some of the Xy'phers off the group.

While the Xy'phers were literally tearing the apartment apart from the inside, a majority of them stormed through the balcony. Grabbing the sofa Spina was laying on earlier, Zenta lifted it above his head and used it as a club to slam some Xy'phers away from Spina. Since the horde from coming from the balcony, Zenta quickly rushed to the sofa to block the opening on the balcony, shoving Xy'phers along the way. He held the sofa in place as the Xy'phers slowly began to rip through it.

"Spina! Grab the others and get out now!" Zenta yelled to the Saiyan. "This building is infested! Leave no--"

A bright flash of lightning tore through the roof and blasted right through the apartment. The impact of it shook the apartment and split it entirely in two. One half, the balcony, began to crumble and fall towards the floor. Zenta hopped off the sinking building and kicked a few Xy'phers away from Spina. When he turned around to see the outside, his composure immediately stiffen. With half of the entire apartment missing, the entire city was now visible.

The city was entirely infested. Every building, every inch of the street... covered by Xy'phers of various sizes. Even though the Breakers were being attacked, only the Xy'phers near the apartment were the ones attacking them. The ones on top of the other buildings, on the street, even on the trees, all stared blankly at their struggle. With every flash of lightning that appeared, their crystallized eyes glittered as they reflected the light. There were too many for the Breakers to fight. Far too many. They cannot fight. If they did, they would die. They had to run. They had to escape.

"W-Were there this many Xy'phers..?" Zenta said with a gasp, taking a step back. "We cannot fight them all..!"

...Especially Kettles...

Zenta shot his head up and turned it in the direction of Bernkastel's room. Rushing through the weaker Xy'phers, he managed to knock a few off of Lucifer as he busted down Bernkastel's door, seeing the Witch entirely engulfed by the diamond-creatures. They were stabbing and attacking Bernkastel, not with the intent to kill, but more with the intent to make her suffer. The creatures, in a way, mimicked her cruelty. Zenta shoved the Xy'phers off of Bernkastel and yanked the Witch away from the pile, pressing her against his chest as he kicked the ball of chittering Xy'phers out the large hole made from the apartment splitting in two. He had no time to react and felt the Xy'phers grab on to his tails, trying to pull him down the hole.

He was quick to shove Bernkastel to the hallway where there not as many Xy'phers as he clawed the floor, trying to not be taken by the crystal beings. His muscles bulged as he let out a massive roar and whipped his tails against the wall, shattering the few Xy'phers that grabbed him.

"Bernkastel, go with Spina! Escape this place now!"

Thanks to Zenta's earlier efforts, Avalon managed to remove some of the Xy'phers from both himself and Berserk. The sight of the Xy'phers outside, waiting for them instantly turned his skin pale.

"There's over a million of 'em! W-What do we do?!" He turned to Spina, worried. "Spina! W-What do we do?!"

Hitting the ground, Spina felt helpless that he could not do anything in that situation. His eyes darted around upon the sea of crystallized creatures erupting from every single direction. To say that their numbers was vast was clearly an understatement. They were so loud that it the thunderous roars and the cackles of sheer lightning feeble to their battle cry.

As the apartment was flat out split in two, it revealed the other side of the city—Reality Metropolis, a city of ruin, turned into a sheer invasion of these creatures. Sweats dripped from Spina’s forehead upon looking at the sheer numbers that were standing idly by. “Holy…”

Lucifer crossed his arms a each Xy’pher took their chance at stabbing them at every opportunity once his barrier shattered. “The mad king had made his move. He’s intending to strike and not miss.” After Zenta knocked a few Xy’phers away, that gave him enough room to make a quick burst of energy to blow some of them away from them. His suit bloodied; Lucifer turned to see the city of grey with vivid colors sparkling through the dark rains. Yet, despite the onslaught, his venomous tongue continues to prosper at this situation when Avalon was shouting Spina’s name repeatedly. “Spina! Dearest leader. What’s the next course of action? Better decide quick or we’ll perish.”

Zenta, Avalon and Lucifer calling his name cause the Spina a slight of panic. He grinned his teeth, clenched his fist as the onslaught was pouring in. “Shut up!! Let me think!!” He slammed his head against the ground to knock some sense into him—even though he still not in the good state right now to give himself any damage. “I’m supposed be a god damn leader, yet…!” He was tired of being put in a situation where he was made a fool of. He should’ve done something about Cuki and took a better direction. He should had never escalate Gogeta by trying to kill them several times. He should’ve never let to the point that Goku and Bage has to babysit him and the group. Bage would’ve probably predicted this invasion if they didn’t constantly get in his way. Roya would’ve been dealt with. All of these were absolutes failures because he chose to be toxic. Had things been different if he took another path? No, this was not the time nor place to dwell on it. Furrowing his eyebrows, it was time to act like a damn leader for once.

A sudden burst of strength came in, Spina pushed himself off the ground—but it was only enough for him to stand and escape. So, the old Saiyan looked around and noticed something. Although there was a sea of enemies towards the city, behind the apartment there were not as many. “That might be it…!” He rushed towards Avalon and Berserk, using a shoulder tackle to push them away before grabbing them. “Let’s get enough distance to refocus…! Lucifer, Cross, can you two fly on your own?!”

Lucifer made a sinister smile, despite panting heavily. “I’ll be just fine. I still got some juice left, leader.”

“Then go assist the others!! Grab them and get the hell out of here and follow me” Spina told Lucifer and Cross to aid the others before flying high towards the air since they are out in the open. As rain drops hit his face as he flew some enough distance, his eyes twitched since that sudden burst of strength was fading just as quickly when it came. He turned around and had a good view of how everything looked. They were practically everywhere. “Damn… losing strength...!”

The small angel turned towards Bage, avoiding the Xy’phers as best he could when he ran after him. Upon reaching the Detective, Lucifer opened his palms, releasing several ice attacks towards the Xy’phers that were on him, but it was far weaker since he didn’t want to overexert himself. “Quite a situation. Perhaps you should call that boss of yours.” He taunted the young Detective, thinking that if Goku shows up, they'll focus on him rather than the Breakers.

Cross says responding to Spina "despite the spotlight f**king with me I shooed be able to fly and use telekinesis."

Cross says using telekinesis on those that were unable to fly to lift them (I don't know whom needs the help) "I rather not fight the Xy'pher version of you Zenta." Zenta did feel as throe he was being picked up.

Cross start to follow dragging a long those effected by Telekinesis. (so far it's Zenta and who ever else needs it(aka I will be leaving it up to the other players))

"Get back!" Berserk held her sword with both arms as she used what little strength she had to try and parry the spiky limbs coming at them, but it was doing precious little. "This is insane! I coulda sworn this was almost a ghost town a few hours ago, where'd they all come from?!" She held onto Spina's back and tried to look outside to where they could escape but the rain kept getting in her eyes. "And what's with this storm?! I can't see a thing!"

Bernkastel, having been rushed the second she entered her room, toppled over from all the creatures attacking her as she had little strength to hold her own against even one. She couldn't see anything in her visual field that weren't the Xy'phers, and their spiked arms. To protect her head, the witch could do nothing else other than curl up with her arms; Bern could tell they were playing around with her. At her weakest level of strength, the witch let them pierce and prod all over her body, but she refused to make any noise. All things considered it still wasn't as painful as moving around on sore muscles.

Maybe if I lose consciousness now, I'll wake up and it will be nothing but a bad dream. Or maybe... Bern thought as she started to feel her lids get heavy, drowning out the shouting of the others until someone had come in and started to fight her attackers. Her clothes were riddled with holes and their bloodstains, but her head spun at being picked up and thrown elsewhere.

"Zenta...? Zenta?!" Bern backed away in alarm at the sheer number of Xy'phers filling the apartment and outside. "We can't just leave you here, they'll get you for sure! Just come with us!" She pleaded him, thrusting her arms forward in a bid to help him. The most that came out was a simple blast that didn't dent their numbers. "It can't be! Shit, I must have used what I had on healing Spina..." This made her eyes widen like a deer in headlights, sweating out of panic from being rendered useless. "Damn it! Just grab my hand, quick!"

Brachi grunted as she and Bara fended off the attackers as best as they could, before Jize teleported them outside of the apartment.

"How did you do that?" Bara asked, while Brachi focused on generating an android barrier to shield the three as best as she could for the time being.

"I'm a Supreme Kai remember, I can use my teleportation to go anywhere I please when I can." Jize said, smiling as a sweat drop fell from the side of the head.

"These fools simply don't let up... but I don't understand is that I feel so drained now... curse that Roya..." Brachi said, clearly frustrated.

"What can you do?" Jize asked.

"Best I can go for is Super Saiyan given that I've at least mastered that form, but I don't know how long I can hold it until we've bailed the others out. That bloody illusion Roya cast on us must have thrown my cybernetics out of whack... I should be able to muster more than this..." Brachi replied.

"Just do what you possibly can to defend us and get to the others." Jize said.

On her turn, Bara wondered if she could temporarily take Jize and Brachi into herself so they could co-ordinate their actions as a single being, and allowing both Jize and Brachi to recuperate... perhaps she could do this with the others too!

"I think I have an idea... I just don't know if it'll work." Bara said.

"I'm listening..." Brachi said.

High in the sky a few hundred meters above the developing chaos, Gogeta floated mid flight in the air. The pinkish fire swirled around his tired body yet despite the grave condition of the Breakers, his strength had not faultered as much due to the helping hand currently feeding him energy. The strong silver hue glinted in his pupils; the fire swirling around him keeping the fusion dry from the raging thunderstorm above. His hair had soon morphed into the bright matching silver that radiated with a pink hue, yet absent was the fur of the Super Saiyan 4 that had appeared from the last encounter.

Gogeta broke out into a smirk, his eyes landing on Spina charging forward ahead of the group and away from the city.

"There you are!"

However, before he could erupt forward towards the group in flight, the V adorning his forehead suddenly illuminated with surging bright energy. A bit of lightning crackled and circled around Gogeta's body, Vegetto Black's voice ringing out in his mind.

You're not going to waste my power on one of them. This is your new master speaking; it's time you fulfilled your only objective. While the Breakers are weak and distracted, you will kill them!

His narrowed eyes followed the Breakers escaping below, his eyebrows twitching pure rage while a frustrated voice of Vegetto Black rung out in his head.

Kill them, kill them all!! You won't get another chance!

Gogeta's eyes continued to twitch, the V brightly illuminating on his forehead as he spoke loudly in a strained attempt to resist.

"Your business with the Breakers...it means nothing to me! Spina is my only objective!"

The V grew even brighter in its display, nearly illuminating the night sky around Gogeta with its glow as the fusion writhed in agony, his body twitching.

I've tolerated your petulance long enough!! You will obey me...or this defiant breath will be your last!

Gogeta grunted, his eyes shooting wide open as he panted heavily to fight against the influence of magic on his body. His glare sharpened immensely, the veins on his bulging outward in tandem with his shouting.

"Tch!! Get out of my head...I already told you. I...will not be distracted from this any longer! I won't!"

His twitching intensified, his head slowly raising up as if against a heavy weight holding his shoulders down as he spoke.

"I am Gogeta...the strongest fusion!! I'll never be your servant...you can take my mind and my body. But you will never take-"

Throwing down his arms in a furious expulsion of energy, Gogeta roared at the top of his lungs as the violent swirl of pinkish fire erupted out in every direction.

"MY PRIDE!!!"

In the violent surge of energy boiling outwards in every direction, the glowing V on Gogeta's forehead instantly shattered outwards into specks of black dust, soon evaporating into nothing. Gogeta panted heavily, steadying his breathing as the whirlwind of violent energy reached down and out nearly to the Xy'phers swarming towards the Breakers. His eyes turned back down to Spina, the grin rising into a viscous smirk. In an instant, Gogeta erupted down towards the ground in a devastating explosion of energy, rapidly closing the gap to the Breakers fleeing from the Xy'phers.

The surging fire evaporated some of the rain pummeling the Breakers at Gogeta's approach, an intense pressure brewing until he was upon them. Blasting forward without a care of avoiding anyone, Gogeta barreled through each of the Breakers near Spina in a bid to reach the older Saiyan. Gogeta roared as his right arm shot forward, grabbing Spina by his head and suddenly slamming the older Saiyan into the ground. Gogeta landed on his feet shortly after, and while keeping his grip on Spina's head, he pulled Spina out from the ground and spun around in a rapid twirl.

Gogeta hurled Spina outwards in the direction the Breakers were already travelling; throwing him at blinding speeds and soon bolting after him to leave the Breakers behind to fend for themselves.

"Don't be so prideful now. Everyone's pretty exhausted, so we gotta help each other out." Bage smiled down at the older Saiyan's helpless effort to try and escape his grasp. But at Avalon's question to Zenta, he raised an eyebrow in confusion. Come to think of it, that strange noise was getting louder. As the Junior detective continued walking he suddenly felt a chill run down his spine when suddenly the Xy'phers tore themselves out of the wall at he and Spina. He jumped back in surprise at the sudden attack, nearly dropping Spina in shock.

"What the hell!?" He fell to a knee while the combined weight of the Breaker Leader, his fatigue and the surprise attack caused the Junior detective to lose his balance. Bage gritted his teeth trying to get himself to his feet but this gave Spina the opportunity to successfully squirm away from him.

"Spina no! You're not well enough to-!" A gang of Xy'phers interrupted Bage's calling out to the leader of the Breakers by trying to pile on top of him. Mustering up what little strength he had left, the detective  swatted at the crystalized beings before expelling a small and sudden barrier to push the minions away for a second to get away. He turned to Lucifer, giving a small irritated look as he mentioned calling Detective Goku. He didn't lose eye contact with the angel as he reached for his phone. Bage looked down, cursing himself as he noticed that his phone was gone. It must have fell out of his coat when those Xy'phers surprised him before.

"Shit! My phone is gone!" He said, grabbing hold of Lucifer's arm and running toward the hole in the apartment with the others. And to his relief, Cross had enough energy to lift them to safety. However, the relief he wanted was halted when Gogeta appeared. A pit dropped in his stomach. Not only did that mean Spina was in danger again... But something must have happened to Goku and Spawn as well.

"GOGETA!" Bage called out to the fusion in a rage, clenching his fists tightly as he helplessly tried to collect any strength he had left hoping to go after them. But even if he could reach them... With his energy depleted, there would be no way to take him on.

“You dropped your phone?” Lucifer started to burst out laughing at the mere notion of Bage dropping this phone at the worst times of all things. “Maybe we should call him by messenger pigeon—” Before he could make another lighthearted joke, he was tugged along by Bage to escape the apartment before being lifted by Cross. However, he was nearly thrown off by Gogeta’s rush through them as he made his way towards Spina. “Oh…?” Lucifer said. “Gogeta’s here.” He paused for a moment because if the fusion is here once again, that means that either Detective Goku somehow dropped him or did not secure him enough, or he was straight up defeated. He let out a baleful laughter at the revelation, smiling with glee. “One down.” The small angel gripped onto Bage’s hand to avoid being dropped into the horde of swarming Xy’phers.

“I don’t know…!” Spina was pushing himself too hard. “Just focus on escaping…! Come on, old man!” He cursed himself. “Move…!” As he attempts to fly faster despite his energy rapidly disappearing at his last-ditch effort to make any reasonable distance away from the swarming Xy’phers, he felt dryness on his face despite being in the middle of a wild storm. “Huh? Did the rain stopped…?”

Narrowing his eyes, Spina felt a sudden rush of energy exploding near him and the others. It was not the Xy’phers—this was specifically distinct and recognizable. As soon he turned around, his head was caught in Gogeta’s grasp. Because of Gogeta’s action, the force causes both Berserk and Avalon to be pushed off he was hurled towards the ground, hitting face first.

Not given enough time to properly react, he was thrown around like a rag doll until being flung away, tumbling against the ground multiple times until he made a full stop. Digging through the muddy floor as the rain continued pouring in, Spina wiped the wet dirt off his face. “Gogeta…?!” He tried to stand up as he turned around seeing the fusion charging straight for him. “Why are you here—” Everything was rushing in his head at once. His eyes drifted for a bit, seeing that the fusion forced them to be away from the Breakers. He noticed that Avalon and Berserk were not near him anymore. If he tried to get to them, most likely Gogeta will get in the way. “You damn fool…! I have no time for … this…! We’re being attacked right now….!!” Spina narrowed his eyes, realizing that this situation was because of him. He forced this on himself. He looked at the rushing fusion—but all he saw was the images of blood splattered all over his hands. He shook his head in attempt to plead with him. “Gogeta, this… can wait. We must save them… don’t… be … an idiot. What… about Bernkastel…? She’s in danger…!” He tried his best to reason with him.

Brachi, Bara and Jize moved as fast as they could, trying to reach Bernkastel to save her and whoever was with her, with Brachi using an Android Barrier to repel incoming attacks, her form moving in and out of base and Super Saiyan form gradually.

Avalon held on to Spina as much as he could until both he and Berserk were flung across the street from an unknown source. At first, Avalon thought Spina threw them on purpose but when he looked back, he saw Gogeta. Things suddenly went from bad to worse. He pushed himself up to his feet and gritted his teeth, thinking that Detective Goku was taken out by Gogeta.

"Damnit! How did get back here?!" Avalon shouted. "W-We have to do something..!"

As Zenta stared back at Bernkastel, he reached out with his arm to grab hers. However, the moment he did so, the floor under him, as well as Bernkastel's entire room, started to fall apart. Both Zenta and Bernkastel fell, almost out of instinct, the beast pressed the Witch against his body, preparing for when they land in the sea of Xy'phers. But that moment never came. Thanks to Cross's telekinesis, both the Master and Witch floated above the wave of Xy'phers as the final parts of the apartment crumbled on top of the enemy. The beast took several moments to realize what was happening and slowly eased up his protective hold on Bernkastel. He refused to let go of her, fearing she would fall.

"It appears that we are saved, thanks to Cross..." He sounded out of breath and his body was shaking as he struggled to defend. Despite the situation, he smiled at the Witch. "My Lady, you risked your life to help an old beast like me..." His voice lowered. "Thank you...for your kindness..."

As the two floated towards the safe side of the city with Avalon, Lucifer, and Berserk, Zenta shot his head up towards Gogeta. The sweet and calm person that thanked Bernkastel started to emit low snarls from his throat, something that always seemed out of character for him. The two landed on the floor and Zenta's fur instantly shot up.

"You..."

Some Xy'phers were caught in the way of Gogeta's rampage and the weaker ones shattered. Their diamond-like appendages were scattered about and this instantly caught Avalon's attention. He quickly rushed to a severed Diamond arm and used it as a spear, a desperate means to defend himself. With too little energy to perform ninja techniques, he, along with the other Breakers, are forced to rely on brute force. He stood by Berserk's side as the rain pressed his hair against his forehead. With the Xy'pher army closing in on their location, all the Breakers could hope was for a miracle.

"Zenta, Bernkastel!" Avalon shouted, pointing at Gogeta. "He's back and he's attacking Spina again! We have to stop him before he kills Spina!" As the ninja looked towards Gogeta and Spina, he noticed the marching army of Xy'phers walking towards them. "Damn, they are literally everywhere... What can we do?!"

As the army got closer, they all looked up at Spina and Gogeta. None of them attempted to stop the two Saiyans from fighting, almost as if they knew the two would kill themselves. They purposely left the two alone. Instead, they instantly shifted their attention to the other Breakers and began to walk towards them. They did not rush, there was no need. It was a slow chase but no matter where the Breakers hid, they would always be spotted.

Zenta was stuck in a situation where he was forced to pick between Spina or the Breakers. Stop Gogeta or help the Breakers. The words he said earlier clashed with the promise he made to Cuki. His skin started to turn red and his fur spike drastically. It looked as if he was changing but he gripped the side of his head, his skin shifting back to normal moments later as Zenta struggled to find an answer in all the chaos. The stress, the burden of having to keep a promise to his precious student, the lack of energy. His mind was slipping.

Gogeta must be dealt with but... the Breakers. If we escape now, Gogeta will use his might to kill Spina. If we sit and fight, we all fall prey to the Xy'phers..! Zenta's tails flailed wildly. I must... protect them! I must not allow Gogeta to..! I must... kill..!

Keep an eye on them, Master...

Zenta gasped and turned back to Bernkastel and the others. Cuki's final words echoed in his mind and brought him back to normal.

Cuki...

"Zenta! We should go help Spina!" Avalon shouted.

"No!" Zenta replied. "We must leave at once!"

"But what about Spina?!"

"If we stay here then we ALL die! Follow Spina's orders and head to the far edge of the city! I will provide cover for you as best I can!" Zenta turned to Avalon and Berserk. "You must not allow any harm to befall Lady Bernkastel! Protect her at all costs!"
