Gogeta kept his arms at his side, lightly shrugging his shoulders in reply.

"No, I fought Zamasu, and he wasn't the same guy. But ok! I'll be right back!"

He grinned widely, quickly turning on his heel and bolting out the entrance leading to the open wasteland, disappearing from sight.

"Hiya!!"

Gogeta's loud and obnoxious voice rung out and shattered the silence Brachi enjoyed in her meditation. He leaned forward over her shoulder his grin wide and invading her personal space. His body was still littered with battle damage from the sparring with Spina, but his demeanor showed very little impact of fatigue on his attitude.

"Spina said you could heal me! Can you please get me back up to top health?!"

Brachi wasn't exactly startled, having sensed his approach. But she did break her meditation, annoyed by the sudden intrusion.

"Sorry to say, Gogeta," She said, "I'm not exactly the medic of the group. Majin Bara was, but since Doom has turned her into a coin... I might as well see if I have some Senzu left, perhaps that should fix you up to some degree."

“Then who is he referring too, then? How does he know me?” Spina watched Gogeta ran off and exiting the training area. Once Gogeta left the area, Spina lowered his head for a moment, then suddenly shouting at the top of his lungs. The ground around him shattered and the wind pressure blow them away across all directions. His veins was present and his eyes budging—in his mind, he wanted to kill the fusion with all his might.

Spina screams for several seconds, as the malicious aura that swirls around him disperse and calm himself down. Yet, the Saiyan blood was boiling, and his intent to fight was at the all-time high. He turned his head slightly to Cuki. “You… answer me something… You managed to block my attack earlier. Are you hiding something from me?”

Detective Goku shook his head. “I’m afraid that’s all we know.” Goku spotted something on the file.

“Well, there is one thing, but it’s inconclusive. The device that the Coin Hunter used seems to be a unique one. I never heard anyone using the Coins as a power boost until now.” Captain Broly said. “I asked several people in Metropolis on who build it, but none of the shops or various of people I spoke too ever heard or seen such device. They all pointed that it was especially home-made.”

“And as long the Coin Hunter has them in their possession, they will be unable to respawn as normal. At least know the identity of the coins they’re using though.” Lucifer said. “I guess our best effort is to see if Hart is still in connection with the Coin Hunter. She is our only lead. Is there anymore information about the case on Hart?”

“Another unusual thing—” Goku lifted a piece of paper. “We were incorrect with our information. All of us made statements about her being the daughter—but there is no record of any collection of the two being related to one another. Any claims that she is the daughter is seemingly false. She’s practically a mysterious. That’s all we have.”

Lucifer nodded. “We can establish that Hart is definitely connected to the Coin Hunter if it’s not blood-relation. Respect? Hostage? Something she needs?” Lucifer smirked. “Bernkastel, Cross. I think we got enough information to think about.”

====

Hart spotted a group of people trying to protest. Shaking her head. “I guess the Breakers still got some fanboys left in their tank. A futile effort…” She continued to walk forward; her eyes narrowed upon seeing Panich exiting the restaurant. She frown a bit, remembering the girl from the battle against Ultra-Man. “Oh great…” Hart sped up her movements, in hopes to walk past the Saiyan.

Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to out-pace the Saiyan. Panich stopped in front of Hart, her face trying to give off somewhat of a welcoming and remorseful smile.

"Hello again, Hart was it?" The princess started, taking note of the nearly annoyed expression on the woman's face. "I believe I owe you an apology for being so rough with you and the Ultrafoo- You and Ultraman. It was very out of place for me to have disrespected your cafe the way I did."

"Looks to be that way," Bernkastel said, nodding her head before she sprung down to the floor. "An interesting mystery if I've seen one so far." She strutted to the exit but paused in place. "Oh, that's right. Before I forget."

Bernkastel turned her head towards Detective Goku and Broly. "Don't wait on Vegeta's return. Do not try to look for someone who was erased from this world."

Cross thinks "We got something to go on." He follows the others.

Gogeta took a step back, straightening himself out.

"Oh, a senzu would be great!"

He placed his hands on his hips, waiting for Brachi to finish her meditation and looking off to the side for a brief moment. The blue sash on his hip wisped around in the breeze on the rooftop, his right eyebrow raising.

"What are you doing up here all alone?"

"Meditating, obviously," Brachi calmly spoke as she moved to retrieve her pouch containing her Senzu Beans to get one, "trying to work on my ki-control so I can maintain my Super Saiyan Blue forms for longer, as well as overthinking about what has happened and how I can remedy it in terms of personal errors."

"Hide something from you?" Cuki looked confused. "I'm not hiding anything. I guess, like you, I also have some tricks up my sleeves that you guys have yet to see. But don't worry, you all know me so well, you'll figure out the secret soon!"

Cuki giggled slightly before sensing his murderous rage and roar towards Gogeta and narrowed her eyes at his behavior. She glanced towards the sky and crossed her arms before lowering her voice so that only Spina could hear her.

"Instead of worrying about the secrets I hold, worry more about what you don't know about yourself." Cuki moved her gaze to the older Saiyan and flicked her tail eagerly. "Who is Kai?"

Avalon rushed up to Panich and Hart, trying his hardest to avoid paying the huge bill he was left with. He stuck by as to make Hart a little more comfortable around Panich. He smiled at Hart.

"Hey, nice to meet you. You're Hart so you know something about the Coin Hunter, right?" Avalon took out his notebook and pen, ready to write down anything Hart said. "Can you tell us something about the Coin Hunter? The Breakers have to live long enough so I can fight Byakko's host, then he can wipe the floor with them once I'm done."

Spina narrowed his eyes after Cuki answered his question regarding her mysterious display of strength. “Right,” Spina responded. He looked away from Cuki when she mentioned the name “Kai”. “Someone from my world. She’s a good friend.”

Looking at his hands, and seeing the blood dripped from his dirty palms, the old Saiyan turned to Cuki. “Back in my world, the Saiyans were an aggressive race. We fought, destroy and ravage worlds of our choosing. We were effectively relish with glee and delight of lording our strength over lesser beings that drives that battle lust. And just as quickly, we crumbled when anyone has even a out of power higher than we put out. It is no wonder that the Saiyans submit to Freeza and eventually succumbed to his genocide. But I… I did not care about that. I live for battle—it drives me. I do not care about lording my power—I wanted to get a taste of a good battle where I can feel my body being pressed on death’s door. So, I went on a rampage, destroying everything in sight in hopes of a good fight. And when I heard the Saiyans were gone, I was free to do as I please if I pretend to perish along with them and kept a low profile.”

Spina stared at his right hand. “Planet after planet, all of them were no match of I what I consider a good fight. Challenging Freeza was a little high for me back then… until I came across this planet home of humanoid water creatures. Weak, submissive species upon my first meeting with them. Yet, in battle—they were monstrous. No matter what I did, they knocked me down. Their strongest warrior, Kai, was a formidable foe. A worthy opponent, a steppingstone to soothe my battle lust. I gave everything I got, but she beat me into submission. Accepting death, I was ready for the final blow, but she… showed me mercy. She told me that I was already beaten. Continuing this battle is now pointless.”

The old Saiyan smiled. “Back then, I didn’t understand that. Mercy? How can anyone just an opponent lived like that? What if I got up and attack her from behind? But Kai… she showed me that battle is not about fighting to the death. It should be fun…. As times went on, I remained on that planet and challenge her very time, but it all end at the same way, and never delivered the final blow. As time passes, I was encompassed by her empathy and mercy. And eventually, when I was ready to challenge her again, but she invited me for a sparring match. From there… she taught me her moves, her techniques and her strength and weaknesses. When I questioned her why she would give me such information that I could easily used against her. You know what she said to me?” Spina turned to Cuki. “You don't always win your battles, but it's good to know you fought. That what she said to me.”

“Years passed, then a couple of grunts from Freeza’s force came to the planet and started thrashing the place. None of them were a match, and Kai was barely holding her own against them. I did not care too much about building relationships, but something compel me to jump into the battle and defend them. I too, was clearly outmatch. When I see Kai, a worthy opponent who no longer able to fight back about to get killed, I went into a fury. My first transformation of Super Saiyan. I easily defeated them and just about to finished them off. But I saw Kai, and the idea of mercy popped into my head. I let them go, and they never returned. Mercy… Kai taught me that. It is why I was desperate to returned home 3 years ago. But now, I don’t sense her anywhere.”

Unknown to Spina, his aggressive efforts to suppress his malicious side had turned into a consequence. The mental block of his desire for battle prevent his true power from ever coming out. Yet, in the moment of extreme emotions, Spina’s Saiyan blood boils and his lust for an epic battle comes out, in which, his true display of strength will be awakened. Seeing Gogeta’s actions, Cuki’s ruthless, and the overall personality had started to slowly tear away Spina’s mental block. A beast that shapes the Super Saiyan legend is on the verge of letting loose.

“Since then, I put a check on my malicious to abide by her teachings. So, seeing Gogeta fight like that… reminds me of myself when I was younger, and I got a bit carried away.” Spina turned to Cuki.

Hart raised a brow, with sweat drops dripping down her face after Panich outpaced her. “Well, thank you for being honorable to apologize. I’m sure you probably aren’t associated with the Breakers as of late and got caught up in their nonsense.” She took a deep breath, seeing that she does not technically recognized her on the name basis. “Listen, you should—” Before she can finish her thought, Avalon barged in the conversation and demanded information about the Coin Hunter. “Uh, excuse me? Who are you? And why do you think I have any information about the Coin Hunter?”  Hart jumped back a few feet to create some distance between herself and them.

Detective Goku narrowed his eyes, turning to Captain Broly.

“…. What?” Captain Broly uttered, but before he could respond, Bernkastel, Cross and Lucifer had already left the premise.

Lucifer chuckled. “Well, I did not know that… don’t you think that’s a bit cruel to rely such information on them like that?” The small angel smiled.
