DBZ: The Fallen Empire (Chapter 1: The Hunt)

Despite the armaments deployed by the Martian, Imperial, and Republic fleets alike, the ships in the rows of the Eternal Fleet held steady. Blue lasers fired out from each ship, the precision of the ordinance unnatural as they easily tore into the retaliating fleet's fighters and destroying every ship within their scope of vision. Capital vessels continued to tank the massive destructive force of the ships' weapons heavily outclassing the allied frigates, the lasers tearing into the outer shells of the crafts with ease.
Darth Marr continued to clutch at the holoscreen, rapidly tapping across the layout.
"We'll be destroyed in a matter of minutes if you don't join the ships out there! Hurry!"
Gogeta nodded, quickly departing towards the nearest ship airlock with Beerus and Whis in tow, Darth Marr gesturing wildly towards the remaining fighters.
"For those of you staying onboard, we've got heavy fire coming from the armory. If they reach it, they could rip this ship apart with the ordinance inside. Do not let them have it!"

The first soldier's legs exploded from the contact of Mioi's beams, the droid soldier collapsing to the ground chest first. The soldier's chest suddenly exploded outward in a metallic combustion from the rifle shot, the machine collapsing to the ground in a steaming metal pile. Three more of the droid soldiers had funneled out of the invading pod, red laser fire erupting from their weapons at Jaz. The droid on the floor still clutched onto his weapon, firing at Kire and Mioi from a prone position on the metal ground.
Vegetto's eyes rapidly fluttered open from the commotion, the fusion quickly breaking out of the metal cuffs. He stumbled forward a bit, gripping his head and taking cover behind a nearby wall.
"What the...what's going on here!?"

Now floating in space outside of the hull on the ship, Gogeta rapidly powered up to his Dread Master form and floated towards the front. He cringed, quickly throwing his arms up in defense from the sudden burst of blue energy erupting from the enemy ships in front of him before unleashing a massive purple energy wave.
Beerus and Whis slowly floated up to Gogeta, watching the purple blast easily rip apart three capital vessels in its wake. However, the fusion's eyes widened a bit at the sudden emergence of three more ships to immediately take its place.
Darth Marr continued to clutch at the holoscreen, rapidly tapping across the layout.

Brachi then appeared next to Gogeta in her Golden Demigod form and unleashed a massive golden Big Bang Attack at the incoming ships, using the Martian's Black Smoke projectiles as a cover to ensure it would eliminate its targets. Future Xenest appeared with raising his massive Berserker Arms and proceeding to fire concentrated energy rays at incoming ships, intending to inflict as much damage as possible. Future Brachi, in her Dread Android form, sped to the Armory, intending to protect it at all costs.

Solaris raced after Gogetta and Brachi, while Kira activated her lightsaber and Lily set the quick fix upon her. The two then speed to the armory while Solaris went into his Star Form and fired off blue large plasma orbs, his Star Breaker attack.

"Ah, Lord Vegetto!" Kire said in a cheerful tone. "I believe we're under attack. Jaz is fending them off for the meanwhile. I highly recommend we regroup with your brother, Lord Vegetto. Please lead the way Lord Veg--"
Kire cut himself off and launched his left hand out as if it was a grappling hook to block a shot which was heading to Mioi. The shot blew off his hand but Kire didn't seem at all phased and walked down the hallway with Mioi. He looked back at Vegetto and placed him on his shoulder, trying to steady him so he can move quickly without forcing himself. He seemed to block any incoming shots aimed at Vegetto by using his own body. He turned to Vegetto and smiled.
"C'mon Lord Vegetto, we must hurry."

Red Mist swiftly avoided many of the shots and countered with shots of her own. Her eyes narrowed as she glared at the drone on the floor, firing at her commander. She avoid some more shots by cartwheeling her way to the soldier and swiping his gun then her hands were on the floor. She was quick to life his body and use him as a shield against any other lazers aimed at her and shot back at any other soldiers. She remembered the explosion cause by one of the soldiers so she used this to her advantage. She tossed the one in her hand and fired at him when he was close enough to the other men, hopefully causing an explosion.
Red Mist was quick and managed to snatch another wounded soldier and continue the process until she was called back by Kire in due time.
"Is this all?" Red Mist hissed. "You will not set a finger on my Commander."
Kire cut himself off and launched his left hand out as if it was a grappling hook to block a shot which was heading to Mioi. "Choose quickly, we have no time to spare anymore." Mioi continued her stride down the hallway following to the armory, following the commotion. Her expression, if any, was hard and focused. "Over there." Following the direction Future Brachi was headed in, she ducked around the corner to see what was going on and how many. If the majority were robotic, then she would have little problems disarming them arm-first.
The combined blasts from Brachi and Solaris tore through the capital ships in orbit like paper, multiple rows exploding from the force of the blasts and nearly retreating backwards. However, within seconds of the wreckage floating slightly to the side in space, each row of capital ship was replaced by another emerging from hyperspace.
Gogeta instinctively floated backwards at the impossible sight, analyzing the seemingly unending fleet sending out powerful barrages.
He quickly braced, the sudden onslaught of a massive barrage of bright blue energy beams suddenly belting the group of warriors in space. He cringed heavily, the marks burning into his forearms despite the power of the transformation.

Vegetto grunted, pushing himself out of Kire's grip, stumbling back slightly without the support. He clenched his fists, letting out a small roar as he powered up to his Dread Master form. He paused, glancing down for a moment in concern towards the loss of power he held before.
His eyes then turned upward from a stray blaster bolt firing past his face, keeping a serious expression.
"No, I'm needed on the front lines. Keep sweeping for enemy boarders while I take care of the fleet."
The fusion did not wait for a reply, raising two fingers to his forehead before disappearing into thin air.

The droid soldiers proved to be no match for the combat expertise displayed by Red Mist, each one collapsing into a metal debris pile after being shot at during their decent down a nearby hall. Regrouping with Brachi, the group soon arrived up from behind a nearby band of soldiers fighting off another group of the droid soldiers:
One of the Imperial soldiers glanced over his shoulder, his voice distraught.
"No! Don't go that way! Blasted droids have their run of the place!"
A female Republic soldier quickly ducked behind the wall of the hallway, laser bolts picking away at the metal edges near her.
"There's no where left to go! We must stand and fight!"
Another more timid Imperial soldier nodded his head, moving past the group of warriors.
"She's right! Let's show these tin cans what we're made of!"
The soldier quickly rolled out towards another debris pile, tossing a small spherical object into the group of droids.
"For the Empire!!"
The Republic soldier stepped out, blasting a burst of laser fire towards the droids.
"For the Republic!!"
The grenade exploded within a few seconds, the rallying cry of the group of soldiers ringing out in the hull as nearly thirteen soldiers pushed down the massive hallway in a bright explosion of laser fire.

Brachi grunted as she raised an Energy Barrier, managing to repel a portion of the incoming attacks, although others went through and clearly hit her, despite doing not as much damage due to the barrier blocking the initial assault. This barrage however proved to be a perfect cover as several Martian Attack Fighters moved in and promptly slammed themselves against the attacking ships, using the payload from the Martian Drones to deal extensive damage to the enemy ships upon impact by disabling their weapons or shields or by striking at the engines, with some of the ships collapsing under the sudden counterattack and blowing up as a result, with debris striking their own allied ships where convenient.
Future Xenest on the other hand used two of his Berserker arms to defend himself against the omcoming attack, while the two others fired additional beams to intercept as many of the incoming strikes as possible.
Future Brachi joined in the attack with the soldiers within the ship, intending to let the enemy soldiers suffer for all that they're worth for.

Solaris seemed to crumple up a bit from the blasts. He soon retaliated with more fire on his own end, but with an obvious slow down.

It was obvious that Kire's body was an entire weapon on its own. Meanwhile, the hand that was blasted off when protecting Mioi seemed to improvise by using the wires that hung loosely. The wires began to twist into what looked like fingers and eventually, a hand.
"Kinda good as new, huh?" Kire said to himself. "Wha'cha see, Mioi?"

She almost seemed bored with her battle until she noticed Kira and Lily. She didn't say anything and the gaze she gave them was one of boredom and bloodlust. "Droids. A lot of them." Mioi answered. "They pose trouble in numbers given that they are simply robotic in nature. They don't seem built for hand-to-hand, so this should not post much of a threat besides avoiding their lines of fire."

The capital ships stayed in perfect synchronization, unflinching in the face of the Martian counter attack. Nearly invisible shields suddenly exploded outward from the ships, Solaris' blasts exploding on the forcefields safely away from the metal hulls of the ships.
Vegetto soon appeared outside with the group, narrowed eyes scanning the situation. The ships suddenly unleashed another barrage of blue energy forcing the fusions to throw up their arms once more as they were pelted by another barrage, pushing the warriors back closer towards Marr's capital ship.

Future Brachi recovered and renewed her assault, intending to hold the lines as best as she could going so far as to use the Chain Destructo Disk attack to cut several soldiers in half.
Present Brachi in the maintime raised an Energy Barrier to help in blocking as much of the incoming attacks as possible, while more Martian Ships appeared to assist as they tirelessly pelted the enemy ships with their attacks, intending to discover and exploiting the weaknesses.

"STAR DESTROYER!" He yelled, despite no one being able to hear him in space, and fired it at the enemy ships.

Kire didn't enjoy fighting but he knew some things can't be avoided. He rushed in behind Mioi and used his gun-like arm to take aim at the droids nearby, giving Mioi some back up. He didn't seem at all interested, almost as if he was bored, even with the huge commotion. He seemed to be thinking of something important. He bit his lip and continued to fire specifically at non-vital parts of the attacking drones. He didn't seem like the person to enforce killing but in a moment like this, it wasn't necessary.
"Wonder how Red Mist is holdin' up?" Kire said to himself. "She might be having a bit of a thrill but I hope she's under control."

"Enemies have breached into the engineering deck; they're after the primary generator. Darth Marr is on his way there now, and requests that you meet him there."

"Engineering deck? Got it. Mist, Mioi, other guy, you all get stocked up and do whatever else you need to do before moving on. I'll head up to the engineering deck to regroup with Marr!" Oriko shot forth through the hallways, speeding towards Marr's location.

Mioi gestured towards the seared wound Revan inflicted on her earlier. The wound was nearly finished sealing, but it still limited her mobility for a double sided saber like Satele's.
