The Reality Vortex: Red Reputations

May gest sent a bit back. She says spiting some blood "I get the others beat me in saying that hardly matters." May thinks as she returns to trying to beat the king with her shovel "Come on that the normal condition of any sapient mind that seen real shit."

May says "Come on all we need to do is beat you to confirm whether we all talk or not." May thinks better of switching to a shotgun but thinks its best to keep using a shovel.

“Ohoho!” The King said as Bara blasted him away from Cuki. “That one felt personal! GOOD.”

The Emperor flew away before flipping and slamming his feet on the ground, skidding and leaving a trail before stopping his movement entirely. He held out his arms and quickly gather energy and fire multiple energy blasts towards Bara. The blasts would begin to multiply until it surrounded Bara. When the first one hit her, it would bounce her towards another blast, creating a massive vortex of explosions to trap Bara. Even if she tried to escape, the psychic energy would lock on to her, chasing her all over the area.

His attention quickly flipped towards Berserk. The onslaught of punches and kicks she gave him pushed him back, but he ended up grabbing her hair at the last minute, pulling the Punk with him. Despite Berserk’s punches, the Emperor, although injured, laughed at her. His body was disfigured, almost as if the energy that constructed his body was trying to reassemble itself. The corner of his mouth started to leak a strange purple ooze. Was it blood? As soon as it appeared, it sizzled away as soon as it met his body.

“Berserk? HAH! Your name is irrelevant to me!” The Emperor yanked the Punk’s hair before shooting his fist to uppercut her, sending her flying into the air. “Just like your sisters!”

The King flew up and pulled his arm back and launched a fist directly at Berserk’s stomach. He punched her so hard that his fist almost came out of her back. It burned away at her shirt and leave a fist mark on her stomach, as if she was branded. The Emperor reeled his arm back once more and took aim at her face, but before he could launch his attack, May’s shovel bonked his head.

“Argh! How is a simple weapon so effective?!” The King snarled as he let Berserk drop to the ground. His attention quickly went to May.

May quickly froze in place and the shovel was ripped out of her hands. Using his psychic powers, the King bonked May on the head just to be petty. Suddenly, the shovel morphed into a javelin and took aim at May before firing. It stabbed right through her shoulder and pinned her to the ground.

“WEAK! You are all WEAK!” The Emperor boasted. “You are all so… WEAK—”

There was a sudden pause in the King, and more of the purple ooze started to leak from his mouth. The Emperor was frozen for a brief second before taking a sharp breath. To him, it was as if nothing happened, yet, to the Breakers, it looked like a glitch.

“Huh? What was that?” Nia caught the King’s sudden ‘glitch.’ “Did he just… freeze?” Was his body registering the pain before he could? What the…?

Without skipping a beat, the Emperor turned back to Cuki and rushed to her paralyzed body. Before he could make it back to Cuki, Zenta quickly got in his way.

“Oh?! You think you can stop me, DOG?” The Emperor laughed. “Defending a corpse is useless!”

“That is my student!” Zenta shouted before slamming his foot on the ground. As he did, an odd symbol etched its way on the ground. His legs were farther apart, and his stance was very low to the ground. Zenta took a deep breath and exhaled a visible smoke from his mouth. “Destructive Technique…”

Zenta rushed towards the King at blinding speeds, leaving behind an after image of his stance. Suddenly, there was an explosive surge that appeared behind the King without any warning. Only when a few seconds passed, Zenta’s palm was seen slammed against the Emperor’s chest. The King went flying, and following him was a trail of white energy. There was another onslaught of explosions as Zenta slipped in front of the King, releasing thousands of energized palm attacks onto the Xy’pher’s body. For a moment, that was the end of Zenta’s force, but there was a nasty look on the Beast’s face. He looked… vicious.

Why ar… y…ou… sti… hol…ng… ba…k…?!

“No, shut up!”

Zenta’s fangs bared, and he crouched down, holding out his hands. He exhaled once more, releasing nearly his entire breath in smoke. In his hands formed two energy spheres, each one surging violently with red energy as he appeared instantly in front of the King. The energy in Zenta’s hands was not elegant or graceful. It felt malicious, sick, and vile. Something about these two red spheres… the energy that swirled gave off a sound.

The faint sound of screaming.

“Annihilation…! Destructive Technique: Laugh of The Vixen!”

Zenta slammed both his palms right on the King’s chest which created a massive explosion, one that flung the Breaker’s back. As the smoke started to clear up, Zenta was gasping for air, having held his breath the entire time. There was a pool of blood under Zenta’s feet as his body shook wildly. Once the smoke was finally blown away, the left side of Zenta’s abdomen was blown off by the Emperor. A last-minute psychic punch!

“Heh…! That hurt… but you left yourself wide open…!” The King mocked. “Now say good…bye!”

The Emperor took a step back and pulled his hand back, launching the same psychic punch directly to Zenta’s head. Yet, moments before he hit Zenta, the King froze in place. Just like before, there was a trinkle of blue ‘blood’ coming from his mouth, however, the blood started to release from the wounds inflicted to him by Zenta. The damage he received was massive, and his body stayed frozen for a longer amount of time.

And again! Nia gasped. Frozen from pain! Is his body… not keeping up?!

“Ahh! Hang on!” Avalyde yelled. “Not the Dog!”

Avalyde quickly rushed towards the King and Zenta. He threw his guns into the air and flung his arm towards the ground. “Water Scythe!” From the ground, thin jets of water shot out, each sharper than a blade. They cut the ground with each, separating Zenta and the King before he continued his attack. Avalyde grabbed Zenta by the tail and tossed him into the air. The fox landed on the dragon’s head and slid down his back to gently roll on the floor.

One of the water blades sliced the Emperor in half and both halves landed on the floor. The King was limp for a moment, until his arm lifted and pointed directly at Avalyde. Suddenly, Avalyde’s right arm disappeared in a violent explosion due to an invisible psychic blast. The dragon managed to catch one of the falling guns, but the other landed on the floor, melting into a puddle. Avalon, however, was visibly stressed as he let out ‘cough’ of bubbles.

While Bara merely grunted as she was hit by the first, second and third blasts, she teleported to a distance above before she could get hit by the fourth one. Seeing the psychic blasts homing in on her and the Red King's ensuing battle with Zenta and Avalyde, she wasted little time. Rolling her body up into a ball and spinning around until it was fully pink, Bara then split herself into a total of four smaller balls, with the blasts from the Red King still chasing her, as she then went after the Red King from four directions at high speed.

Before striking the Red King, each ball then quickly turned into a disc reminiscent of a sawblade, grazing over the Red King's body from various directions at which the intention of Bara was clear to the other Breakers while the Red King himself was still reeling from the damage done to him as well as being distracted by Avalyde and Zenta; she was using the chasing psychic blasts to her advantage to let them chase her in order to have them strike at the Red King instead, getting the homing blasts off her back, after which the four pink sawblades came back together and collided into a brief ball of goo, after which Majin Bara reassembled herself, followed by her unleashing a stream of purple energy from her mouth at the Red King in a sweeping motion, being a quick energy wave known as the 'Ill Flash' technique.

Cayde turned his head up inside the massive water dragon, his eyebrows narrowing a bit in seeing Avalon hack up bubbles in clear strain. He reeled back a bit, his eyes following Bara's following attack to keep an offensive up on the evolving Red King while the three now had a moment to breathe and recuperate amidst the chaos.

"Hey..guys...let's catch out breath. Stay focused, but let's let the others take the charge for a minute. Fight smarter, not harder."

The android turned his head a bit, taking in the other Breakers into account. Bernkastel was still taxed, and now Cuki remained frozen in a trance bordering on death. Zenta had landed next to him in terrible condition, May had been impaled into the ground by her own shovel, and Berserk had been sent flying by a devastating punch. He stared across the way, relieved to see the detectives were still capable of following up along with Panich and Nia.

His eyes trailed back towards the crater left from the Red King's attack earlier on Vegetto, trying to sense if the last variable to the fight was still alive. Cayde frowned at the lack of energy he sensed from deep within the crater, but a sudden surge of that signature erupted in between Bara and the Red King; Cayde instinctively turning his head to see.

The imminent blast of purple energy shot forth through the air uncontested for awhile, but a blinding flash of light covered its approached from the ground up in a quick explosion. Rocks and debris blasted outwards from something emerging from the ground; silver fire blooming like grass on the ground as Vegetto emerged from the new crater left in his wake. Now directly in the path of Bara's Ill Flash, Vegetto tensed his muscles and grunted loudly as he swung his left arm out. The white gloved fist that batted at the purple beam was significantly smaller, but strong enough for the energy wave to ricochet off of as Vegetto sent the attack meant for the Red King skyward; directly counteracting the Breakers' attempts to damage the clear enemy once again.

The steely silver eyes of the Potara fusion drifted to the side, his head turning to stare back at Bara with a confident smirk.

"Nice move."

Without waiting for a reply, however, Vegetto turned his head back to face the Red King, floating in the air inside an aura of intense silver fire. The fear and doubt, the burning rage from a fragile ego scorned had all been true in what the Red King had read in Vegetto's mind from the memories. A history of destruction chasing freedom from bonds, and the cowardice to face responsibility for the pain inflicted all still apparent within his mind with an internal war between two indistinguishable halves fueling the destructive tendencies. Yet despite most of the internal struggles still remaining within the man floating in front of the Red King, one had resolved. The warring two halves had finally fused within; the strange void filled with something small and new. Pride and arrogance attempted to masquerade as that new little fire burning within the man, but to a mind reader, there was no mistaking what it was: confidence. And even though it was small, the little internal fire was rising.

"Coward, huh? Do you seriously think all that bluster is going to work on me?"

Despite the statement, however, the desire to run and flee was still sensible by mind reading within Vegetto. The Breakers themselves still clearly meant nothing to Vegetto deep down; the words spoken about defending and protecting them having only belonged to Clark, Zenta and Cayde even in this moment. Yet as the little internal fire grew, the doubt and desire to flee against a stronger force for his own salvation began to burn away; the three voices that spoke the words to Vegetto slowly shifting into the Potara fusion's to the mind reader. The steely silver pupils locked with the Red King's as the typical cocky smirk rose as he finally spoke again.

"Well fine...I'll give this a try. I promise I won't run. Not even one step..."

Vegetto tightly clenched his white gloved hands into fists, preparing to bolt forward.

"To the end...uhh..."

The confident expression suddenly morphed, the silver eyebrows raising. A goofy and confused expression on Vegetto's face heavily contrasted the weight of his words only moments earlier, the man clearly struggling to recall something.

"King...emperor...army...no wait, back to emperor...god...oh right!"

Vegetto's silver eyes narrowed once more, chuckling to himself in an intended mocking of his opponent while his cocky smirk returned.

"To the end...mister creator god!"

Blasting forward with a thunderous roar, Vegetto jabbed at the Creator God with a flurry of fists; rocketing the pair back across the ground from the force of the strikes, regardless if they were effectively blocked to prevent damage. The Potara fusion flew around the transformed Creator God like a pest, throwing out punches and kicks, but immediately bolting away after to avoid giving the Red King a chance to counterattack. Vegetto blitzed around in a silver gleam of fire and wind after the disorienting offense, soon tackling the Creator God to the ground in a volatile explosion of rock and energy. Once the smoke and debris cleared, Vegetto had the Creator God pinned in the rock with one leg stepping on his left arm, and his white gloved hand pulling the Creator God's right arm out. Yet the most disparaging and disrespectful act of it all, was how Vegetto palmed and pushed the newly christened Creator God's face into the ground. Despite the massive gap between their status in the Reality Vortex, a mortal dared to step on divinity. Even worse, the dual voice spoke in a defiant and mocking tone shortly after in his struggle to keep the Creator God pinned.

"What's wrong? Is this all the power a Creator God has?"

May added a hermit appeared that negated all the power of the blow. May simply rolled her eyes at the king.

May summons one her maids. Maid says in a truly worried about may "Mistress your arm?" May says "Get my shovel out my arm." The maid dos as she ordered and tosses it a side. She starts with first aid.

The maid starts to commutate with the orbs.

At that moment, there was an interference when Cuki attempts to access her Divine State. It was not that Cuki had seemingly failed in terms of experience nor lack of concentration. Instead, it was an unknown factor beyond Cuki’s control that caused an upset.

“This is more fun.”

A soft, brief whisper that only Cuki, and by extension Byakko due to sharing the same body, could only hear. Once Cuki essentially collapsed after facing some sort of backlash after failing to properly achieve Divine State, then the pressure ceased.

“Gogeta is dead…” Detective Spawn wasn’t surprised that death would catch up to him eventually, but to think that Vegetto of all people would allow that to happen, it didn’t make sense. After remembering his brief interactions with the Potara fusion, especially his unhinged, psychotic rant towards the Breakers at Reflection City, the hellspawn thought he’d probably done the deed himself.

Not surprisingly, some of the Breakers took offense at what the Red King said. One after the another, they charged at the King who know declared himself as a Creator God. Noticing that Berserk was wiped away, the hellspawn rushed forward and caught her in time before she hit the ground.

Spawn noticed that the Red King staggered a few times in between his attacks. “He’s high on power right now. His mind is not keeping up with his growing evolution like this.” Gently placing Berserk on her two feet, the hellspawn pulled out dual blades from his cloak.

They could no longer afford to prolong this battle. They need to take him out at any cost, and prevent him from gaining more power—otherwise, it would be difficult, if not impossible to put him down. “You’re good to go, shorty? You still got one good eye left.”

Chains came out of his cloaks, landing on the ground. “We can use your C4s with my chains. With our speed, we can warp around that freak and blow him sky high.” As Vegetto held down the Red King’s upper half, this was an opportunity to strike if the latter were to attempt to break free. “When he tries to move… we attack.”

“Red King is on cloud nine… Creator God.” Lucifer chuckled. “How nostalgic.” He sensed the Red King’s power stronger more, but his hints of staggering were not subtle. “But that power is billowing up at a faster rate—but he’s not accustomed to all these sudden changes.”

Lucifer was surprised to hear the Red King flat out declared the death of Gogeta to the rest of the Breakers. “Oh, how I wish you were awakened to hear such, Bernkastel. Would you go ballistic over the third most problematic Breaker, only beaten by Cuki and Vegetto?”

He wasn’t convinced of Vegetto’s demeanor, nor Cuki’s sudden declaration of protecting the “Breakers”. The angel was not sure of why Cuki collapsed like that, but regardless, he felt that her intentions were swallow and empty. “No.” Lucifer said. “The battle of nearing to a close and they still haven’t changed.”

Panich eyes widened in anger as the Red King dared to use her friendship with Cuki against her. The Xy’pher Saiyan growled ferociously, ready to attack but stopped in her tracks at her friend falling to the ground, completely paralyzed by the surge of energy trying to overtake her body. ”CUKI!” Panich shouted, now changing directions and sprinting straight for Cuki. Dodging through the fighting between the Breakers and the King, She landed on her knees near her friend. With her cold crystal hands, she scooped Cuki up and into her arms and sped off to keep the Breaker out of danger.

Bage noticed this and prepared himself to jump into the fray and keep the Red King from Cuki. He realized that whatever transformation she had planned on using had to be very powerful. At least powerful enough to land a devastating blow like Avalon’s before. The super Saiyan God charged his ki and encased himself in his bulwark armor to help defend Cuki with Zenta and Panich.

Panich landed a good distance away from the fight, once again landing on her knees with the limp Cuki in her arms. She frowned worriedly at seeing the blood all over her face. ”Come on, Cuki, wake up. You don’t honestly believe that bullshit, do you?” Panich said, gently tapping Cuki’s cheek. “You didn’t fail me, this is all the King’s doing! You’re not replaceable! You don’t have to make some big sacrifice like I did back then to prove you're my friend.”

The Xy’pher Saiyan stopped talking as if waiting for a response, her frown deepened and she bit her bottom lip, now attempting to try and shake the girl awake.

”You always put others before yourself…! I’ve seen it when I was a part of the Breakers. And even after I betrayed your trust, you were still so sweet to me when we got captured. What kind of sane person does that for such a selfish… stupid Saiyan woman…” Panich clenched Cuki’s arms and shook her a bit harder as she tried one last time to wake her. “The point is he’s lying! You’re not meant to be alone, and if even if you don’t think you have anyone, you have me! and you’ve got your master, right? Zenta! Even the Breakers are scraping together to help! So just wake up and we can end this together! We can live like how you told me! You can even call me that dumb nickname you made up for me! You won’t be alone! I’ll make sure of it! SO SNAP OUT OF IT!”

Cuki’s body still refused to move, the pressure being so hard on her body that one of the vessels in her eyes popped, resulting in a red sclera. To an outsider, it looked as if Cuki was fighting something to control her body, like something was pushing the young girl to the brink of death for fun. Once the pressure of whatever force of acting on her body, Cuki released her hands, accidentally slapping Panich in the process. Her body shot up, coughing, shaking, and heaving violently. Whatever trance she was in, she was fully aware of it, even of the mysterious force that nearly killed her. All the cracks on her body stopped growing and every vein in her body relaxed, each disappearing from the surface of her skin.

“It was… that voice.” Cuki staggered, speaking to no one in particular. “The one from… the dreams…”

“Picked a bad time to mess with you!” Byakko pouted. He seemed relieved that Cuki was back to normal, at least.

Cuki’s attention quickly turned to the crystal being before her. For a moment, her dull eyes saw right through Panich, showing no life, until a small spark lit up behind them. The youngster instantly reached out to pull Panich close, hugging her and digging her face on her crystal chest. She was silent, even as the King and the Breakers fought. Everything was silent to her and the only thing she heard was Panich’s voice. Byakko looked down at the moment between Panich and Cuki, puckered his lips, and huffed. He turned his head, crossing his arms childishly. However, despite his tantrum, a smile managed to show from his lips.

Good job, kiddo… …And thank you, Panich…

“Pan-Pan…” Cuki said softly. Her voice quivered. She wanted to cry, but she held herself back. “I needed that…”

Nia stared at Panich and Cuki, almost feeling nostalgic.

A moment between friends… It’s wonderful. Nia smiled.

However, the moment was short-lived as Cuki and Nia quickly turned to the carnage and chaos the King was performing on Vegetto.
“Pardon my intrusion, but I suppose you two can hold this reunion for later? Veh-Gee-Toe can’t hold the King off forever.” Nia gasped at how quickly the Emperor recovered even from the most devastating attacks. “You must attack his core, the one on his chest!”

“How are we supposed to do that?” Cuki said in a cold manner. “He’s regenerating faster than we can hit him.”

“I’ve noticed a small pause in his movements after he’s received a large amount of damage.” Nia bit her lip. “I can’t explain it… but I think his body isn’t keeping up.”

“Keeping up? Keeping up with what?”

“I’m not sure… I always said his arrogance will be his downfall, but I didn’t think I’d be right.” The Xy’pher pondered. “It’s a stretch, but I think his body isn’t keeping up with his new transformation or the pain. I can’t prove it.”

“Hmph.” Cuki turned to Panich. “You take his right; I’ll handle the left.” The youngster gripped Panich’s arm to pull herself off the ground. She was seriously wounded, but her ambition and will keep her going. Her body shook, yet she refused to stay down. “Go!”

She dashed towards the Red Emperor at blinding speeds, leaving behind a trail of white mist.

As Bara used her wit to send his own psychic energy orbs right back at him, the Red Emperor took the hit head on. He tumbled to the floor, and, once again, he briefly froze. The King began to realize his momentary pause and lowered his head to see that his lower half was missing. However, before he had a chance to register his next move, he felt Vegetto’s onslaught and made no attempt to block or dodge. Every hit the Breakers dished at him, he took it like a sponge. The way Vegetto pinned the upper half of the King to the ground felt humiliating to him, especially how he grabbed his face. As the Fusion dug his face deeper into the ground, the Emperor grew more furious. Slowly, the Xy’pher turned his head to face Vegetto with his eye visible from between his fingers, shining a bright red.

“Don’t be pretentious!” The Red King shouted.

A scarlet aura blasted from beneath the Red Emperor, flinging Vegetto away from his body. His lower half morphed and quickly shot out two legs from the sudden burst. He quickly flung himself forward, flying at Vegetto before pulling his arm back and punching him in his stomach. It launched Vegetto backwards, however, the Saiyan froze in the air due to the King’s psychic powers. The Emperor chuckled as he pointed a finger at Vegetto, keeping him immobilized as the same scarlet energy that burst out began to swirl around his free arm. It started to grow in a disgusting, grotesque manner and over muscularly. Without warning, Vegetto’s paralyzed body flung towards the King as he slammed a giant fist against the Fusion’s stomach. As soon as his punch was delivered, his arm dispersed and returned to normal. As Vegetto laid motionless on the floor, the King began to walk towards the Fusion. He held out his arm and flung it to his side, instantly turning it to a red blade and pointing it at him.

“You’re still weak, Vegetto.” He said, as he stood above the Saiyan and pulled his arm back. “Farewell!”

“Now Pan-Pan!” A voice shouted.

Before he could administer the fatal blow, Cuki kicked the left side of his head, sending the Xy’pher Lord flying straight to Panich. She chased after the Emperor, instantly appearing on his left and using the tips of her fingers to land hits on his arms and chest. The King’s arms grew limp, leaving him wide open for Panich’s counterattack.

May starts to get up but the Maid prevents May form getting up. Maid says "Mistress your arm." May says flatly "it's only a flesh wound and ..." Looking at the situation "wear I am laying is slightly unconfutable." May order "orb 390 run a medical scan on me and send it to 010."

The order was completed, and it did confirm may's words. The Maid no longer prevent may form getting up. May heads to the shovel and grabbed it. May seems to be whiting for a just in case she needed. The maid is still worried about her mistress and hopes may is no longer need for the rest this fight.

When the Red Emperor struck Berserk directly to prevent her from recovering and preparing a counter, she hacked up bloody saliva in a dry heave. The force of his punch made her whole body fold itself around the fist in addition to spiking her blood pressure from the strain. Her damaged eye spurted more blood out before she cinched it closed, gritting her teeth as she was sent flying down to the earth.

The first-shaped bruise on her stomach burned and limited her ability to react in time. If it weren't for Spawn catching her, Berserk likely would have been left wide open for a killing blow similar to what the Emperor inflicted on Zenta. "H... who do you think I am? This is... nothin! Just a scratch!" She coughed out, hunched over slightly upon standing. Once Spawn explained his plan to her, the Powerpunk glanced over at the fight's continuance. She picked up on the Emperor's random bouts of freezing, just watching the others gang up on him for a few moments.

"Yeah. I'll only need an eye and a throwing arm after all," Berserk finally answered with a thumbs up. Reaching into her belt, she pulled out the aforementioned devices with the detonator. "And if he catches us-- well, we'll get the last laugh anyway right?"
