Bernkastel let out a small grunt of alarm as Gogeta stepped forward challenging Ultraman so brazenly and with such certainty.

"I-in your condition, you think you can fight?!" She asked him in a hushed whisper. "You're mad!"

She almost couldn't believe he was up for a fight again, recovering so quickly from the sniveling mess he was merely moments before. Not to mention he had a limp and still hadn't fully recovered from his last brawl. But then... there was that look in his eyes... as soon as Gogeta spoke those words, Bernkastel knew nothing would make him back down. With her scrutinizing gaze shifting between the two men, her brows furrowed with a small, nervous scowl on her face.

But if he defeats Ultraman even in his current state, we'll only have the Coin Hunter left to fight. Without any pawns in the way, we'll be able to take her head-on.

Bernkastel closed her eyes for a few moments, taking a deep breath in before opening them once more. After Gogeta looked back at her one last time, her face back to its usual neutrality.

"Very well. If you so much as crack a window by getting too close to the city, I'm stopping the fight myself." She spoke sternly, then glancing over at Ultraman with a small smirk of her own. "And you look like you're just itching for the chance... why, this might be the first fight you've had that isn't based on your hero image. That is, if you're going to decide for yourself this time around. What's it going to be?" She had no intent on involving herself in the fight, but she'd honor that it would take place far from the city.

Cuki's Apartment

"Truly..." Panich gave a small joking smile as she bandaged each of Cuki's wounds. "Im not so sure relying on a body part for companionship is the healthiest, but to each their own."

With that done, the princess placed her hands on each of Cuki's shoulders and laid her down on the couch. "But from what I've seen from your condition... You don't exactly handle yourself in a healthy manner. Take it from me, a little rest will go a long way in the future. You'll have plenty of time to get your tail back. Just... Take it easy for a moment."

Brachi blinked at hearing the chat between Spina and Detective Goku, lowering her stance, while remaining alert and waiting to see what else would be revealed.

Bara however was more curious.

"Mr. Goku, what brought you here and made you a detective?" She then asked.

McKnight Café

“A Majin, huh.” Detective Goku observed Majin Bara, continuing his thoughts. “Never seen her before, another member of the Breakers?” Preparing to answer her question, he continued with the first part of the question. “I’d assumed you mean here, I’m just curious about this Hart person. She made various reports about someone stalking her, including several wounds on her body, yet we found nothing that backs her statement. I thought there were something beyond superficial things… and based on the information Cross gave, my gut feeling was correct.” He looks at the props that Spina was observing. “Hart is the Coin Hunter.” He paused for a moment, turning to Bara. “Why I became a detective? Well, the Captain thought it would a good fit for me due to my personality I supposed. It seems like an interesting job to do on my time in this strange place, so I don’t mind it—gives me something to do.”

“Black Crystals, Composite Beings and Alter beings… I never heard any of this during the 3 years.” Spina said. “Then again, we hardly did much productive activities on getting to see the “result” of what Doom have caused… so it’ll our fault for idly by for so long.” Spina noticed the markings on the armor.

“Designs done by Kazuki”

Spina turns to Cross and Brachi. “Isn’t that the owner of Cardmaker shop?”

Detective Goku continued. “At the end, becoming a detective, there a lot of delinquent bastards around here that flaunt off their skills and seeking battles for the sake of it, often resulting in others getting hurt. Stopping them is one of my priorities.”

Reality Metropolis

Ultraman paused when both Gogeta and Bernkastel taunting him for a battle. Facing towards the ground, his eyes dilated; his muscles tensed up; veins became presented across his body; and a boiling aura poured out of his body onward several city block. Standing up straight, he’d turned around towards Gogeta and Bernkastel with looks of a man who’d had enough, and on the verge of his own boiling point.

One step forward, Ultraman walked towards the duo who was a thorn to his progress. Another step forward—their words that implies that he was unable to properly think for himself. Another step forward closer to the people that became not an obstacle for his ambitions, but his way of his own life. Each step, he’d left footprint scorched in electricity, but disappear just as quickly as it arrived due to the lack of a purpose.

One last step forward, Ultraman stood in front of Gogeta with eyes pronounced for a battle. Towering over the fusion and Witch of Miracles at 6’3 ft, Ultraman’s powers fuming outward like a volcano ready to explode. As he rise his hands over the fusion, balling it into a fist, the anticipation for a battle was imminent.

Yet, before he managed to lift his hand up not even halfway above Gogeta’s torso, it dropped back to Ultraman’s side, as the supposed hero fell on his knees. His head dropped downward as his eyes became dull. “Please… just leave…” His muttered under his breath. “You… you two don’t have the right to talk about happiness and positivity on the ground of thousands you have destroyed and put hundreds into comas…. As all of us are thrown into a world without cause, without identity and without meaning…” Tears rolled down his cheeks, but his expression remained stagnant. “I have no intention to fight you… I cannot defeat you. So… just … leave.” The boiling aura became a chilling one, slowly building ice around himself as the winds blowing in all direction slowly become frozen. “…Leave…”

Gogeta stifled a small chuckle in response to Bernkastel's concern, the laughter immediately interrupted by a small coughing fit as Gogeta kept a confident smirk in whispering back at her before she accepted the situation.

"I have a plan! Don't worry!"

His attention turned back to Ultraman, his stern and serious glare returning. He grit his teeth, instinctively tensing and clenching his fists in preparation to fight but soon blinked in confusion in seeing Ultraman fall to his knees. He frowned instinctively, seeing the state of the man, but the fusion soon glanced around with a concerned and suspicious stare at the sight of the chilling effects left in Ultraman's wake from his submission.

Gogeta turned his eyes back down on Ultraman, his own battered and damaged body standing tall with his arms still tense in preparation to fight. His dual voice was mostly flat and stern.

"She's making you do this, isn't she? Tch...figures."

He paused, thinking for a moment and glancing towards Bernkastel for a brief moment before facing Ultraman again with a cocky smirk.

"Tell you what: I'll make things easier for you...since I'm guessing that if you win, she won't be forcing you to fight anymore. So if you wanna win, then you gotta know what you're fighting against first."

Gogeta turned on his heel, limping a bit and cringing slightly in gaining a bit of space from Ultraman and Bernkastel, turning back to face towards Ultraman fully once he was a few meters away.

"Let me teach you and your friend a bit about 'Super Saiyans'...starting with the basics. Don't worry, it won't be a waste of time and I think you'll both learn something useful."

His smirk widened.

"You're gonna love this: trust me."

Cross says "Hart may be effected by the insanity involving the black crystals or she was over reacting more mundane things."

Cross says "Spina really never had to deal with the latter 2 things in the last iteration of the vertex. The last iteration did not have the Black Crystals."

Brachi nodded.

"I believe so." She said, scratching her head at that.

Bara nodded.

"I understand. I've been a coin for a long time up to now... but as I've been close to my best friend Brachi, I've seen and heard things myself." She said, before producing a small jawbreaker for herself to munch on.

McKnight Café

“Then that’s our next person.” Spina said. “Hart is the damn Coin Hunter, and its clear that she’s pins us for what had happened to her.” He said with a firm voice. “Black Crystal huh… making someone crazy? That reminds me of what had happen to Doom during out battle against him.” He turns to Detective Goku.

“Ah, you were a vortex coin? Well, I’ll ask you several questions once this blows over then.” Detective Goku turns to Spina’s call. “I’d assumed you’re going to this Kazuki person?”

“Yeah, he the one who told us about Hart in the first place.” Spina said. “I’d assumed you want to tag along?”

“Sure. I need to complete my investigation, and Broly is still knocked out.” The Detective said. “I’ll follow your lead.”

“Alright. Let’s head over to Kazuki and find answers. He might have an idea to counter her gauntlet.” Spina said.

“Teleport us there instantly.” In the back of his head, he hasn’t found anything evidence about the connection between Panich and Hart. Why didn’t Panich informed them of what she knew? Spina did recalled that she didn't seem that happy with Lucifer. He turns back to Goku, his energy signature is radically different and absolutely high compared to the average person here. "Hmm." Spina was ready for Cross' teleportation.

Ultraman did not respond to Gogeta’s bargain for the battle. His dull eyes remained, as his body continues to coagulate in ice. Winning, Super Saiyans, those did not persuade his thoughts. 3 years of constant loses dwells on the man. 3 years of falling to protect the city from its imminent destruction, and within a week, everything goes into hell right before his eyes.

As every breath he takes became ice-cold, Ultraman, known to be a loud-mouth and constant thorn to the Breakers, can barely mustered out more than a few words at a time. To the battle hungry Saiyan, Ultraman was reduced to a man who lost sight in everything. “No.” He said pathetically. He’d closed his eyes as his body slumped down as his aura kept on pouring throughout the city.

One of the unconscious residents slowly began to open his eyes.

(Sorry for my super late posts. )

Cuki's Apartment

As much as Cuki needed a nap, she worried for the others, especially the Breakers she spent the most time with. Her heart was in the right place but her mind was frantic, unable to think outside of helping someone, almost as if she has a need to prove herself. However, Panich's gentle words of encouragement seemed to mean a lot to Cuki, especially during her situation. She rested on the sofa, listening to Panich. Her cheeks turned red not from embarrassment but from bashfulness.

"Uhhm, thanks for caring. Not a lot of people seem to worry about my well being, especially now since the city hates us. I didn't even do anything but I suffer the same fate, huh..?" Cuki flatten her ears. "I just want to prove my worth but sometimes I struggle to keep up with the Breakers, y'know? The best thing I do is cook and be a good host, even then, I rarely hear the others say much about my hospitality. It doesn't matter, not anymore anyway..."

Cuki looked away, trying not to show much emotion. Compared to when she first met the Breakers, she seemed to barely show any sort of emotion anymore, especially positive.

"Heh, don't mind me, I'm just... talking nonsense. I can't rest long tho', I have to cook so they can keep their strength and push forward. I wish I can train but..." Cuki's voice trailed off slightly as she picked at her sleeves, trying to find the Zenta card. She was unaware that it simply fell under the table; her body was just too tired to even realize. She seemed a little panicked but refused to move or start a fuss for Panich's sake. "Well, I never had a moment to really train ever since my... teacher was turned to a coin. That was the coin that the Coin Hunter took away. He meant so much to me and he's the only person I had a memory of when I came to this realm. I thought I had his card but I probably lost it during the scuffle to help Gogeta... Oh well, I wanted to show you but it seems he's long gone anyway..."

The girl shook her head, realizing that she was opening up to one of the newer Breakers.

"Errm, sorry you had to sit through all that. I must be more tired than I thought! Just ignore everything I said, it has nothing to do with you."
