Brachi shrugged, while Bara stood close to her, with the Majin having used her Transfiguration beam to change Brachi's outfit from her usual complex one to a more simple gi-type of outfit, being just plain purple with a blue sash around the waist, similar to Piccolo's outfit, but without the turban and cape.

"I.... can help you," Panich crossed her arms staring at the wounds on Cuki's body. "But before that, we're taking care of those wounds, and you're going to take a nap."

The princess sighed and took the younger Saiyan's hand leading her to the living room to have a seat. "Now where do you keep your first aid kit?"

Bernkastel rubbed her eyes, wondering if it was some kind of delusion she was having. The way he talked, his mannerisms, all of it-- there was no mistaking it. Once again, Whis appeared to them in a whimsical way of keeping himself hidden. It made sense; there was no way he'd be able to blend in with this world properly if everyone knew his direct affiliation with them. The corners of her mouth couldn't help but turn up to a smile at that aura of his.

"Gogeta," she began, her voice lighter in tone than before. "This person is a very powerful, important friend... he may not look like it, but he's very good at watching over people from afar. I guess it's been so long, I almost didn't recognize his new look. With all the commotion the past week, I hardly can think normally-- how terribly rude of me." Bernkastel pinched the ends of her dress and curtsied before him as her formal greetings, looking back at Gogeta with a smile. "Until he's done with his missions, keep this encounter with him a secret, okay? He's a very busy man."

Not that it mattered, if Gogeta only saw him as 'Clark Kent', it wouldn't expose anything. So as to not overtly give it away, she had to make it seem like this wasn't a total stranger. Bernkastel dug into her pockets, pulling out the Lambdadelta card to show the fusion as she drew in a sharp breath. "This girl, is... was... a very dear friend of mine too. I... never recovered her coin when she was killed like your friend Kassava. The magic of certainty is inactive without her to embody it, so it remains completely uncertain as to whether we can even revive anyone erased by Doom's beam. Mr. Kent is graciously searching for that answer. But if cities and people continue to be wiped out every time a fight happens, there won't be anything to find."

Then there's me, lazing about and drinking myself into a coma like I'm just killing time for the inevitable. Her grip on the card stiffened as she frowned to herself. Bern seemed so adamant she didn't want to be killed by the Coin Hunter, but was drinking and watching everything slowly devolve into uncontrolled chaos indicative of someone who was willing to put up a fight? Was forcing herself not to feel anything at all foolish too? Maybe the humiliation of defeat alone made her want to give up and not bother because she thought everything became pointless.

"You... don't always have to give it your all because not every fight is a matter of absolute life or death. And you'll have people alongside you to fight when it is. It doesn't make you seem weak or any less yourself, because something about that just lights some kind of fire in everyone to keep pushing, not just yourself. What IS weak and selfish is..." Bernkastel trailed off, gently dabbing at Gogeta's wet cheeks with the cloth. "... to give up before you even have something to fight for, not caring who else it affects-- it looks like I forgot what that meant after all these centuries. So... in exchange for me teaching you to restrain all that impressive might for the better, you show me how to live with..." Bernkastel stopped to purse her lips in thought, unsure how to phrase it. "Optimism? Persistent zest for life? Whatever it is you do with that 'smiley' energy of yours, I'd like to learn how life like that feels."

McKnight Café

Arriving at the café, the entire establishment is completely barren. All the windows were cracked, the chairs were all over the place. Ever since the battle against Ultraman, the place had been in complete wreck with no sign of rebuilding.

“This place looks like absolute hell.” Spina noted as he looked around. “Alright, Cross heard information about Hart around here, so let’s see if she left something that we can used. Keep your guard up. Cross’ magic will give us protection instead of a surprise attack.” He walked towards the diner corner and see nothing but empty cabinets.

“None over here.”

“This week had been an absolute disaster… Newcomers, city’s destruction and now we’re essentially bad guys. Cross is right… we need to figure out the future of this group; otherwise, our pathway leads to failure. I need to figure things out... Spina thought to himself as he eyed a doorway to the kitchen area. “Hey, let’s check over there.” As he opened the doors, his eyes widened, seeing an abundance of black crystals sticking out of the kitchen flooring. “What the hell are those?” He felt a sudden pressure weigh down his body like a gravitational force and felt like he couldn’t escape its grasp. However, he was suddenly pulled away, and thrown backwards towards Cross and the others by an unknown force.

“You should be more careful investigating the area. Especially don’t get close to those crystals. They are extremely dangerous.” A strong and firm voice ranged out from a man that adjusted his glasses. Revealing to be Detective Goku, turned to them with writing supplies (paper and pen). “I take that you Breakers aren’t here for a causal stroll. What is your business here?” He questioned.

Ultraman, at a notable distance, used his eyes to see a group of people on the ground unconscious, along with a stack of coins. He slowly lifted his head, seeing three individuals, two he knows too well, yet the other one was unfamiliar, yet at the same time, familiar.

Usually, he would’ve act immediately—yet, because of his conflicted matters, he remained stationary in the spot he was in. He gripe his fist tightly, but not with the intention to battle, but overhearing their conversations due to his super-hearing made him angry. "They're having a talk? They're having an essential crisis...? They of all people...?" His eyes widened by their talk to give their existence meaning, something he had, and lost. “Optimism… Persistent zest for life…” He mumbled under his breath.

Lucifer flipped through the channels. “Guess it just me for now, ain’t that right?” He spoke to a presence to no one. “I feel my energy is slowly returning to normal; it was quite a surprising attack.” He remember the battle against the Coin Hunter. “I wonder if that how they defeated Nanashi?” He stood up and headed to the bathroom.

He opened the door and instantly, Lucifer met violent wave of stench came out of bathroom like a raging storm. "Oh my goodness...!!!" He attempted to stand his ground, but the pressure completely overwhelm him. Lucifer fell back on the ground, tumbling multiple times before he made a hard stop. Lucifer seemingly knocked out due to the massive and overbearing smell.

“Don’t go to that bathroom…” Spina’s voice was heard in Lucifer’s head.

Cross says "Much the same as you detective following up on a lead." as undead hands cot Spina preventing him form being flung to far.

Brachi and Bara blinked at seeing Spina being pulled to the crystals, only for something to pull him back towards them and Cross, before hearing Detective Goku speak. Brachi in turn blinked at this.

"Goku?" She then asked, slipping into Chi-Chi's voice at that.

"Isn't he one of your creators back in our universe?" Bara asked.

"Yes, he is." Brachi replied now in her normal voice, nodding.

Gogeta kept his confused stare, eyeing Clark Kent as the latter slightly bowed at the hip at Bernkastel's curtsy.

"He watches people from afar?"

He glanced down, seeing Bernkastel raise up the Lambdadelta card towards him. He eyed it curiously, and kept his somber stare throughout most of Bernkastel's speech. However, as his cheeks were wiped, Gogeta suddenly broke out into a happy smile, leaning down and taking Bernkastel's right hand without her permission, giving it a firm shake.

"Ok!! You got a deal!"

Clark Kent slowly began to turn on his heel, nodding to the pair.

"Always a pleasure, miss Bernkastel. Good luck to you both in settling this nasty business with the Coin Hunter. I'm sure you'll need all the power you can get to take her down."

Gogeta suddenly perked his head up, quickly whirling around at the mention of the word, "power".

"Oh!! That reminds me!"

Gogeta grinned widely, having completely changed his demeanor from mere moments before in excitedly facing back towards Clark Kent.

"If you watch people alot, then do you know Vegetto?!"

Clark Kent kept his warm smile, nodding curtly with an amused voice.

"I know him quite well, actually."

Gogeta grinned, proudly placing his hands on his hips.

"Then can you find him and tell him I'm here now too? Not just any Gogeta from another timeline; I'm his best buddy!"

He then quickly dug into his vest, pulling out his Kassava card and holding it out in front of Clark Kent.

"See! Kassava, him, and I were the best Time Patrollers ever! And-"

Gogeta yelped once Clark Kent had subtly taken the Kassava card from his hand. Worriedly, Gogeta leaned forward with his hands out in a pleading fashion while Clark Kent examined the card.

"Hey hey!! Be careful with that; she's my best card!"

Clark Kent kept his smile, his eyes down in looking over the card and his tone still warm and polite. He had paused for a brief moment, but spoke warmly shortly after with a small, content sigh.

"She was mine too."

Gogeta blinked in confusion at the slighty heavier atmosphere, watching on as Clark Kent slowly offered the card back to Gogeta between his pointer and middle fingers.

"What happened? Did you lose your deck?"

Clark Kent stifled another amused chuckle.

"Oh no. That trading card game simply wasn't fun for me anymore, so I found a new game to play in my down time. I'll show you when the time is right, but for now, I must bid you both adieu!"

Clark Kent offered one more bow towards Bernkastel and Gogeta, before promptly turning on his heel and casually strolling down the street.

"E-Errm..." Cuki was taken a bit by surprise by Panich wanting to help her. "I-I don't need a nap, I can stay up a while longer... Maybe."

Cuki sat down on the sofa and pointed at the floor, trying very hard not to yawn or show signs of being tired.

"The first aid is always under the sofa. It's got everything you need." Cuki stared at her wounds. "I don't think my wounds are that bad..."

Panich raised an eyebrow up at Cuki as she pulled out the kit, her expression giving off clear doubt at that statement. She opened the kit and took out some peroxide and bandages for the cuts, taking note of the number of bruises for ice.

"Please, I know all too well what this kind of condition can do to a person, both physically and mentally." The princess replied as she got right down to tending to the cuts and bruises, "Besides, you may not have the strength to even grow your tail back if I were to teach you in this state. You should really be more mindful of your health."

“Make sense. With everyone so focus on the destruction on the other side, and the severe lack of population, it quite easy to investigate these manners.” Detective Goku did not offer any reaction towards Brachi’s voice changing to Chichi’s voice. “I’ve been investigating this place quite a bit and found some interesting findings.”

“Thanks, Cross.” Spina stood up. “So this is Kakarotto… he sounds very differently from the one I’m familiar with.” He thought to himself, sensing a strangeness in his energy signature. It was Goku, but the pressure felt incredibly enormous. To proceed with caution, and to avoid any more conflict, Spina went for a simple approach. “You said interesting findings… like those crystals. What are those?”

Detective Goku walked around and checked his notepad. “Yes. One of the things my agency found is the appearance of these crystals, dubbed Black Crystals.”

“Black Crystals?”

“I’m sure you are aware of Dark Energy, I presumed? After your battle against the formidable foe Doctor Doom, the rebirth of this world was exposed to Dark Energy for a brief period of time. To avoid Dark Energy from obliterating the land, the world took a defense measure and transfer the source of dark energy into crystals, implanting them across the world. It’s extremely powerful and immense incredible pressure. Touching them will result you to become overloaded with dark energy and become mad as a result and rages unleash uncoordinated chaos.”

Spina looked at the abundance of crystals in the kitchen. “Can we remove them without touching it?”

Detective Goku shook his head. “No. Removing them is essentially activate a gigantic bomb on a scale unimaginable. It’ll obliterate entire cities, people included, if even just one of them gets removed. It best to leave them alone. I don’t know how it effects the Vortex Coins, but I had several reports from my colleagues that it extends their cooldown period even longer, but nothing sustainable to support such.”

Spina narrowed his eyes, remembering that the Coin Hunter wanted to fight them in “Valley of Black Crystals”. “Based on what he said that bastard is planning on using it to his advantage.” Spina thought to himself. “Well, we have our reasons to find more information on Hart, Kakarotto. I doubt you came simply for that.”

“Yes… I was quite curious about Hart after Cross came with the Witch and the evil child. After your drunken friend bench press the city once again, I did some digging around. So far, this café had no financial records or any income once so ever.” Goku stated. “Do you have information about Hart?”

Spina turned to Cross. “Cross placed a bug here and managed to gather some intel. Maybe that’s something that speaks your interest.”
