The shocking collision between Hart and Brachi remain stationary in their place; either side not moving much from their place. “Just a little more…!” Cracks formed on Hart’s face, starting with the forehead, then rapidly spread throughout her body. Her body was severely losing power, and the bombarded attack from Gogeta, Cross and Spina didn’t make things easier for her. Her concentration dropped for a second after being struck on the back by a Ki Blast, and that was enough to feel the overwhelming pressure Brachi exerted. Hart tightened her grip onto the hilt of the blade, as she tried to regain her momentum and strength and drive Brachi and Majin Bara back.
Suddenly, Hart grunted when the Saiyan Princess attacked her back, causing her to loosen her gripe on the hilt. Distracted, she felt being push away from Brachi, allowing the latter to push onward. She recovered her gripe, but all the momentum she had built was seemingly lost.
Desperate once again, Hart roared thunderously as she tried to swing the sword prematurely in amidst of everyone bombarding her with attacks to slow her down. Yet, the few seconds loss due to Panich’s action, was enough time for the leviathan to appeared overhead. Still in mid-swing, the Spectrum Sword was caught in the fangs of the giant and shattered into pieces. Seeing pieces of fragments of the sword, and small edges of black crystals, it erupted a powerful explosion that pushed both Panich, Brachi and Bara away—but not endangering them to toxins of Dark Energy; a strange phenomenon that caught the attention of Lucifer.
The top half of the sword missing, Hart attempts to fight it off with the lower half. She drive the broken sword onto the leviathan—but it shattered on impact. The mass of energy collected by Bernkastel was great—and her own power was draining rapidly, which caused her own body to stagger in the worst possible moment. Unable to protect herself, she took the full weight of the leviathan, hurling down towards the ground with few Black Crystals, birth by the Black Lightning strikes. Hart grinded her teeth in attempt to punch it, but each strike was pathetically weak. Her efforts were absolutely futile and a sense of dread she felt—a lurking feeling that Cross placed her in earlier had finally settled: she was about to face “death”.
Hart let out a loud cry—a distinct sounds ripple through the airstream with hundreds of different voices. “No...! This isn’t supposed to happen…! You damn Witch! You damn Witch!”
[Suddenly, as Hart cursed the name of the Witch of Miracles—everything vanished The whale, Panich, Bernkastel, the Breakers, everything turned into nothingness.
Hart felt like she was floating, contrast to the fall she was in a few seconds ago. Turning her head to the right and to the left. There was nothing but total darkness around except for herself engulfed in strange yellow energy.
She didn’t know what was going on. She didn’t know what had happened. Was that another elaborate illusion cook up by Bernkastel and the “baby”? No… Hart knew this was different. This was dark. Fear invaded her mind, whom hundreds of spirits feeling the same.
Suddenly, stars burst around her, planets rapidly form, and entire nebulas, galaxies, black holes, and space itself had appeared around her. Hart, confused, looked around in all direction to understand what had happened—until she sense a presence. She slowly raised her head and saw “that”.
The many eyes looked at several directions, except one that started directly at her. The smile went to each cheek as the clusters of stars can be seen inside his face. Hart couldn’t speak nor think.
“I see that you fail to complete your goal. What a disappointment. I went out of my way to give you the answers, and you blew it. Oh well, at least I know that an Alter being is useless. Onto my next project… thanks for the show.” It was a deadly voice of the highest caliber. A voice with authority, with promise and yet, venomous, and destructive nature.]
Hearing those words, Hart finally blinked—but in that second of closing her eyes before opening them, she was right back in “reality” once more. Her eyes widened when she realized her situation, the whale driving her downward the ground of several black crystals. Tears formed, mixing with the blood on her face as she cringed. In that split second, Hart let out a personal cry without other spirits chiming in.
“Bernkastel…!!!!!!!!” She shouted at the top of her lungs, echoing through the air as her final words before the whale slammed against the ground with the Black Crystals.
The impact was great—the Black Crystals cracked easily from the sheer weight of the leviathan and started countdown. Lucifer, overhearing Bernkastel’s demand for everyone to take cover, decided to use the last bit of his power. “Magnificent Shield.” Raising his tiny hands, a powerful barrier formed himself, along with his maiden. He panted heavily, clearly exhausted himself doing that. “That’s the best think I can do, it’ll hold… I think.” Lucifer chuckled. “Get behind the shield…”
For the first time, Spina witnessed the explosion of the Black Crystals; the sheer shockwave erupted wildly in all directions. Judging from that alone, he knew the danger of the Crystals can do, and damage it can cause. Thinking quickly, Spina dashed upward in the air, seeing the explosion knocked Panich, Brachi and Bara away before the leviathan tackle Hart. Grabbing hold onto them, Spina bolted to get behind Lucifer’s shield in time, crashing onto the ground. “Hold on…!!”
After the shockwave, a powerful, almighty blast erupted from Hart’s spot. A devastating black beam tore through the ground, ripping anything in its sight. It expanded largely, that the width of the beam is about 32 km. The height of the beam was 15 m high, heading straight through the dark clouds, expanding the size of it rapidly. The beam can be seen for at very long distance, even in Metropolis, and even in other cities across the Vortex. The beam subsided; black mountains formed as a consequence, and a smaller valley of Black Crystals emerged in its place. After a few minutes, it was followed by a moment of silence in the air.
