"I'm getting the feeling of not being respected, ignored and looked down upon here..." the voice said, especially after Bernkastel, Spina and Whis disregard and/or mocked him. There was a sense of sadness--but it does not seem to reflect the sadness of himself, but rather something else entirely. "No matter." The voice chuckle. "Well! I know when I'm certainly not wanted! So I shall await when you come back from this training." the voice said, rejecting the offer of joining the arena.

"I have other matters." the voice's tone became sinister briefly. "Just make sure that training, whatever it entails, is enough to aid against Doom. Otherwise, this would all be for naught and your existence might as well be good as gone."

Spina raised a brow. "And what matters is that? Planned on telling Doom about our affairs?"

"Oh, Spina! This battle isn't my stake!" the voice said. "I'm sure Bernkastel would've grilled me if I interfere and make things more difficult for her. Plus, it would delay getting those tools that I desperately want!" the voice answered. "And besides, my affairs are simply that. You, of all people, should be aware that I can easily subject myself to any point in this world at any time. Don't worry though! Once you're done, I shall be here when you arrived."

Spina had a suspicious looked on his face, sensing a hint of malicious intent behind his words. "Whatever..." He headed towards the door. "Alright kid, quit yelling..."

the voice turns to Bernkastel, who was going towards the door, and the Lich. "Well, Bernkastel and Lich. I have to take my leave. Do try to make sure they're under control." the voice said. "It would be quite hard if things aren't going smoothly... I might cry if those tools remained lost forever!!!" the voice's tears fell, but it's actually just crocodile tears. "Now, if you excuse me...." The voice vanished.

=============

Demi-Fiend was picking his ear, flicking whatever substances he dug out to the ground before turning his eyes on Bernkastel. "The demonstration does not grant any favors for my ends, Witch. Mushin or Ultra Instinct just looks like automatically dodging on my end, anyway. So I'm not quite immersed nor impressed in this." Demi-Fiend bluntly said. "But hey, it gets me out of sweeping, so might as well take this chance." He took noticed the voice had disappeared, but sense a hence of murderous intent, but walked alongside with Bernkastel.

Chuckling at Bernkastel's response about strength. "Eh? I guess so. I really wasn't giving my all since this was a dodge-ball game. Even that move I've used wasn't that much, though I dislike elemental attacks, but especially things that disabled skills and techniques." Demi-Fiend addressed. "Though, if I was fighting a god... things would be different.

Raune watched Cuki dash through the door with a smile.

It's quite clear she doesn't need motivation to get better. She's doing this because she wants to. I just hope that the desire to get better can carry her to whatever her fate may be. In a blink of his red eyes the blue lightning returned for a moment before disappearing.

"It certainly didn't carry mom..." He muttered before hearing the Voice and Spina's conversation, flash stepping to be at Spina's side and whispering.

"I don't like what he was saying there... Not at all, and I didn't like him when I first arrived in this dimension. I... Hope we're in agreement there." He said to the Saiyan, admitting his private thoughts before starting to walk out the door like a normal, non-speedster.

Whis smiled back at Cuki as she moved past him through the doorway, nodding.

"Of course! I'll be sure to pick a really strong opponent for you then."

He stood casually as the others funneled through the doorway, his eyes lifting slightly to Vegetto and Kassava. The pair of Saiyans were the last two left to enter then arena, Vegetto raising an eyebrow at Whis.

"Whis...about what you said yesterday."

Whis perked his eyebrows, Vegetto's dual voice still flat.

"Did...did Gogeta really master it already?"

Whis' eyebrows dropped, his smile returning with a curt nod.

"He has."

The taller angel sighed lightly before continuing.

"I would not worry about it if I were you. Despite my teasing at the time, I know you two haven't exactly had the ability to train and focus on this as much as he has, given the coronation and tournament coming up."

He narrowed his eyes slightly.

"But you two no longer have the luxury of putting this aside. More powerful beings exist in this world, currently far beyond your capabilities. If you want to have a chance against them, you'll need to learn how to maximize your potential."

Whis' expression lightened, politely gesturing to the door.

"Now go on. The others are waiting for us."

Vegetto kept his stern expression, finally passing through the door way with Kassava in tow. With everyone interested in the training having passed through the door, Whis ducked down slightly to stroll through the doorway, shutting the wooden door behind him.

======================================================================

Whis held onto his scepter with one hand, the other perched on his lower back behind him. He moved from behind the crowd, walking towards the center of the arena fighting grounds while speaking.

"Now that we are all accounted for, we shall begin the first stage of training right away. I will be assigning you each a partner in combat, and your objective for this first portion is simple..."

The taller angel turned on his heel, having arrived to the center and facing back towards the group with a smile.

"You and your partner will spar, in an all out brawl here in this arena. There are three rules: no elaborate traps, no quitting, and no attacking anyone other than your opponent directly."

Vegetto perked an eyebrow.

"An all out fight? This arena is rather...small for all of us to be fighting one on one."

Whis nodded once.

"Precisely right. The fighting grounds are limited in their space, so you will need to account for the fact that you might have another pair of fighters interrupting your duel. In order to truly sharpen your senses, you must be aware of your surroundings without losing focus on your target."

Whis then reached up rubbing his chin, his eyes turning to Gervene.

"Hmm...you are a god of destruction in your universe, yes? So I would assume you already have this training somewhat mastered, therefore I would like you to assist me and Bernkastel in making sure everyone is following the rules accordingly. I suppose a single attack to the offender would be a sufficient punishment for each broken rule."

He then chuckled.

"Although, on the other hand, I would enjoy watching Bernkastel interfere with matches for purely her own amusement rather than specifically punishing rule breakers."

Vegetto narrowed his eyes.

"Whis..."

Whis giggled lightly, covering his mouth with his fingers for a moment.

"Forgive me, I digress. Now, let's go ahead and assign everyone an opponent."

He turned his attention to Vegetto.

"Vegetto, your opponent will be Demi-Fiend."

Vegetto's stern expression remained, his gaze shifting only for a second towards Demi-Fiend before he uncrossed his arms and stepped out to the side.

"Fine...let's do this."

Whis turned his eyes away from the two, landing on Spina next.

"Spina, your opponent will be Raune."

He then turned to Cuki.

"Cuki...you will be fighting Kassava."

Kassava's eyes widened.

"What?!"

She glanced quickly down to Cuki before turning back to Whis.

"She's can't even turn Super Saiyan; how am I going to get stronger fighting her?"

Whis kept his smile.

"You'll see soon enough."

He turned his head away from Kassava promptly after that, rubbing his chin.

"Hmm, that leaves three more, meaning we'll have an odd number."

Whis shrugged his shoulders lightly.

"I suppose having Brachi and Majin Bara team up against Snow is a fair battle."

He then nodded to the others, keeping his smile.

"Take a few minutes to get acquainted with your opponent and find a space on the field that you would like to start at. Bernkastel will blow the whistle when it's time to begin the first stage of training."

"Everything will be fine, Voice. Hopefully you don't miss out on the fun too much." Bernkastel listened intently to Demi-fiend as he mentioned fighting a god. "A god, you say?... the closest thing I know of a god as a being is a Creator Witch. What was her name... Auaurora?... ah, it doesn't matter." There was a scowl on her face that grew the more she thought about it. "Gods... Creator Witches...  in essense, they're the same. They can't stand even a minute of boredom. Perhaps if I wasn't ever under that monster's mentorship, I would have been born a kinder witch-- I wonder if such a fragment existed... Monsters birth only more monsters. Such is life."

Her deep grimace faded as Bernkastel forced herself to abandon that train of thought immediately.

"Well, I see that we are similar in more ways than I thought. Let's just say that you might get your chance in due time. I'll gladly partake... when it gets lively like this, I don't much like to stay still." She said to Demi-Fiend before listening to Whis's instructions.

"What a good idea. If things get boring, I might throw in a few 'surprises' to keep you all on your feet~" She giggled. "So don't misbehave, okay~?"

Both Brachi and Majin Bara smiled as they were allowed to team up together, with Majin Bara giving Brachi a hug.

"Hey there, silly." Brachi said, giggling at this, while Gervene chuckled.

"Sure thing, Whis," Gervene said, "let's see how the others handle themselves in this test. It's kinda strange how a small group of fighters can be fun to associate with..."

The lich says as a matter of fact "Gods are just like any kind of life form they can be killed." The lich thinks "slayed plenty of gods and fact are using some there reminds for my one uses."

Cuki frowned slightly upon listening to Kassava but thought it would be best to try out some of her techniques she has yet to fully show. She knew she was not as physically destructive as the other Saiyans but she felt confident with her type of fighting style. She turned to Kassava and stood a couple feet away from her, bowing her head before the start of the fight. Despite Kassava's comment, Cuki forced a smile on her face and her vibe looked to be the complete opposite of the child everyone seemed to know and when she spoke she sounded mature and confident.

"I can assure you, Lady Kassava, I will fight you with all the power I am able to muster forth." Cuki stared right into Kassava's eyes with a fiery passion behind them. "While it is true I hold no special transformation you Say-Yams display I hope I am able to peak your fighting interest Lady Kassava. However, please do not underestimate an opponent you know little about, especially when they have been carefully watching and studying your fighting capabilities."

Cuki got into her traditional fighting pose. She faced Kassava with her left palm in front of her and her right open and poised by her hip. Her feet were kept far apart and knees slightly bent. Cuki remained perfectly still in her unique pose while her tail twitched occasionally.

"So please Lady Kaasava, don't go easy on me or else it will be your downfall."

Demi-Fiend cracked a smirk at Bernkastel's reflection on Gods. "There's definitely some truths to that, Witch! Gods, Goddesses, Destruction, whatever they call themselves, they're all the same. Someone gotta start knocking them down and put them in their place." Demi-Fiend explained. "Agreed! You definitely understand where I'm coming from." He addressed the Lich's response.

"Bernkastel, right?" Demi-Fiend addressed her with her name. "Well, whenever that chance appears, I'm sure that it would be enjoyable. You seemed to be the type to spice things up from the looks of it." Demi-Fiend praised. He heard his name being called by Whis. "Eh? Am I actually joining in this?" He was surprised as he assumed this is strictly for the Saiyans' abilities. "Well, I guess this might be some good little exercise then."

Demi-Fiend stretches his arms, walking towards Vegetto, though, left a reasonable gap between them. "So you're my opponent, eh Shonen? I thought I was going to tackle Gervene, but I guess I can go for the appetizer for now..." Demi-Fiend said to Vegetto. "Maybe I can get to see that changing dye-job you Saiyanjins has been doing. Well, anyways, don't try to disappoint me." He dug into his ears, pulling out a strange centipede. "Huh. How did that get in there?" He flicked it away.

=========

"Raune huh..." Spina turns to Raune. "He's a speedster... don't know how I can keep up with his speed, but I guess I'm going to find out." Spina thought to himself. "Well, let's have an enjoyable spar then. I ain't holding anything back." Spina took a stance, feeling a lot better now that Lich's healing has been kicked in full force, removing the bandages Raune placed on earlier. "Think of it as thanks for helping me back there." The robe Raune gave earlier is now tied as a cloth to covered the bottom parts of his body.

Kassava kept her frown, spacing out slightly across from Cuki with tense arms.

"Let's just keep it at Kass for now."

A golden aura rapidly exploded out from underneath her boots, her black hair spiking up into multiple bundles and illuminating into a golden hue. Her narrowed turquoise eyes scanned over Cuki once, crouching down slightly.

"For your sake...I hope you're right."

==============================

Vegetto's narrowed eyes looked over Demi-Fiend as he approached, his arms still at his sides.

This kid doesn't seem to be an experienced warrior...maybe he's just too powerful for his own good.

His pupils shifted slightly towards Whis for a moment.

But...Whis wouldn't have me fight him unless he was confident I wouldn't stand a chance against him.

Vegetto's eyes shifted down next, his expression softening.

Ultra Instinct...

The soft, empty stare Vegetto held immediately vanished as he lifted his eyes once more. An intense, stern expression replaced the momentary stare from earlier, glaring down Demi-Fiend as a bright blue flame slowly ignited from underneath his boots. The blue sparklish glow soon encased his body, the surge of energy being the only source of sound as Vegetto transformed into a Super Saiyan Blue.

Another flare of wind erupted outwards, his eyes sharpening into a more tense glare and both of his bangs hanging down in front of his head shooting up into the rest of his spiky hair. He spaced his legs out slightly, moving into his signature fighting stance without a word as white lightning crackled around his body inside the blue aura.

======================

Whis perked his eyebrows, diverting his attention off of Brachi's group at the sudden flare of energy emitting from Vegetto. His narrowed eyes studied the scene for a moment, a small smile forming as he spoke out to no one in particular next to Bernkastel.

"Ah...near full power from the start. He's finally going to take his opponent seriously this time."

He cleared his throat afterwards, soon projecting his voice louder.

"Now that everyone's prepared to begin, your training will be simple. In your sparring match, your opponent shall hopefully push you to your breaking point. As your body and spirit begin to struggle in an effort to stand, you will begin to realize you will need to draw from other sources of power to continue fighting. Usually, your first reliance is on pride and ego...and after an unspecific amount of damage, your will to fight is replaced by something else such as courage..love...or simple desperation to keep going. Every time you get knocked down or embarrassed, you will find that your reasons to continue will slowly start to fade and leave you. Until you reach the end of your shell, when you find no other reason left to stand."

He kept a smile, raising his hand and preparing to signal the start of combat.

"When that point comes, and you feel the scorching heat of your muscles completely exhausted from the battle, then you will be in a perfect moment to allow your senses to completely control your movements. When your mind is clear from all thoughts of anger, doubt, hope, or sadness, you will feel your senses heighten and your limbs move on their own. Let your mind empty then, and your fighting patterns improve without your control. That, is Ultra Instinct."

Snow looked at Brachi and Bara then said to them "While we spar, If you want I can teach you a few new moves if you want." He then got into a fighting stance.
