The lich says still reading the book he summoned "the way to use the item is simple, one is go thru the actions of unlocking and opening a door using that key. Miming the actions or do it to any door will work the same. In both cases shut the door behind the last person that entered."

"Aw man... Well if it helps bring out the best of us then I'm for it!" Cuki nodded. "I guess we must really push ourselves to get this Ultra Instinct thingy."

It looked really hard to master so I should prepare myself mentally at least... And if we are to be put in groups I must take my partner into consideration. I hope I am able to keep up with my partner but at the same time they be able to provide support. Cuki glanced at the others and frowned slightly. ...And with this group I don't think it will be very successful. Let's just hope they think before they act.

Raune looked to Cuki, and handed her his mask.

"Hey, um... You, really found me exciting uh? A hero?" He asked with a bittersweet smile. "The man in the lightning. Well, if you want to race me, you'll need something to protect your eyes and face. The mask is scary, I know, but just because it's the mask of a monster doesn't mean it can't be worn by a hero..." He stated, pulling out a photo.

"This is a picture of my grandma. She wasn't the best person, she was really, evil... She was good once, and I wear this mask to honor her." He stated, musing over it. "But, if you want to get faster, fast enough to be the Black Flash, well... You'll just have to keep moving. I paid a lot to gain this speed. I lost... Everything I had..." A few tears fell onto the ground before he wiped his face off. "But that's not what's important right now. The important thing is, for you... Never, stop, learning, moving, getting better, getting faster. Find limits, break them. Push yourself harder than you thought possible. Do it again. And again. And again. When I first started out I couldn't even go faster than the speed of sound. But I got better. Faster. I got my sword made for me. Used that to go even faster than sound. And one night... I lost, everything I had, and I went faster than I could have ever imagined." He stated, pulling his empty hand up and vibrating it so quickly that it seemed to stop and remain still. He then moved his hand away, leaving a spectral copy floating in mid air.

"Fast enough to tap into the Speedforce. Fast enough to beat the villain of my story. Fast enough to leave behind an afterimage and do many other things. Now." He said straightening himself and running off, returning a moment later. "You're going to go far, take this training well, okay?"

"Hmm, alright," Spina said. "I have no objections then. And the voice isn't going to come with us, right? It'll be just us?" He asked Whis.

Vegetto's narrowed eyes diverted slightly towards Raune and Cuki, keeping his scowl throughout the story. He made a low grunt, his dual voice barely above a whisper as he glanced away.

"Tsk...give me a break."

He yelped suddenly, Kassava's elbow digging into his ribs prompting him to uncross his arms and stumble back a step.

"Gah! What was that for?!"

Kassava met his glare with one of her own, frowning heavily as she whispered back.

"You aren't the one that needs a break. Not every one gets to be a simple punch jockey like you all day long."

Vegetto kept his stern expression, his frown remaining.

"Well even if my life was depressing like that, I wouldn't go around whining to people about it. No one wants to hear that nonsense."

Kassava cocked an eyebrow.

"What are you talking about? You whine to me all the time about stuff like Zamasu and-"

Kassava's words suddenly turned into muffled yelps, squirming underneath the white glove now covering her mouth. Vegetto's wide eyes glared down at her, his dual voice still low.

"Keep your voice down!! The others might hear you damnit!"

==================================================

Whis nodded curtly at the Lich, waving his free hand to the side. A simple framed, wooden door slowly formed from the small particles of light guided by Whis' hand, the taller angel letting his arm fall to his side once the furniture had been placed appropriately. He blinked, however, turning to face Spina with a confused expression.

"The voice?"

He perked his eyebrows, turning his eyes to the small pink blob before letting out a short giggle in amusement.

"Oh my, I completely forgot about that creature. Well, I suppose he is more than welcome to join us. But I don't see a need for it to learn from me."

Whis turned back to the door, placing the key within the single slot beneath the door knob and lightly twisting it to the right. A small click rung out, and Whis pushed the door with one arm, politely gesturing for the others to walk through the blinding light within the doorframe.

"Whenever you're ready, you may step through the doorway here."

The door opens to what looks like a stander out door sports arena. The lich keeps reading the book.

"Hm, the atmosphere's gotten much lighter. Everyone's so lively... a lovely sight." Bernkastel noted aloud, letting go of the Voice before hopping down from the stool she never left. "I'd like to at least watch this too, even if I am not partaking. That, or I'd be subjected to being stuck here with nobody but the blob to talk to."

"Are you coming along, Demi-Fiend? You don't seem too interested in this Ultra Instinct." She asked upon floating past him on her way to the door. "Not that you seem to be in need of it compared to the others, seeing what you did to poor Spina over there. You and Raune gave me some pleasant surprises. Quite frightening powers to be pitted against."

Cuki stared at the mask given to her and the sparkle in her eyes only grew. She felt so honored to have a gift that means a lot to someone. She listened to his story and the history behind him. She did frown upon hearing some of his darker past but perked up when he mentioned to never give up. She stared down at the mask and thought up an interesting idea.

"I got an idea for you Quickfeet." Cuki said handing the mask back to Raune. "While I appreciate the offer I think this mask holds a lot of history and memories for you and I don't feel worthy enough to take it from you. However..." Cuki stared at the mask and smiled. "Once I get strong enough and prove myself faster than you I can totally take that mask from your hands, fair and square! You don't need to worry about my eyes, I think I can get used to the speeds eventually. You can think about it and give me an answer after we train, alright?"

She made sure to hand the mask back to Raune before giving him another pure smile. Upon hearing Whis open the door Cuki dashed inside and took a breath of the new training room.

"Alright! Hurry up guys, I wanna get a taste of this training!" Cuki said as she prepared by stretching her body. "And you better not go easy on any of us Mr. Whis, especially me! I want you to hit me with all you got!"
