Raune looked to Cuki, and handed her his mask.
"Hey, um... You, really found me exciting uh? A hero?" He asked with a bittersweet smile. "The man in the lightning. Well, if you want to race me, you'll need something to protect your eyes and face. The mask is scary, I know, but just because it's the mask of a monster doesn't mean it can't be worn by a hero..." He stated, pulling out a photo.
"This is a picture of my grandma. She wasn't the best person, she was really, evil... She was good once, and I wear this mask to honor her." He stated, musing over it. "But, if you want to get faster, fast enough to be the Black Flash, well... You'll just have to keep moving. I paid a lot to gain this speed. I lost... Everything I had..." A few tears fell onto the ground before he wiped his face off. "But that's not what's important right now. The important thing is, for you... Never, stop, learning, moving, getting better, getting faster. Find limits, break them. Push yourself harder than you thought possible. Do it again. And again. And again. When I first started out I couldn't even go faster than the speed of sound. But I got better. Faster. I got my sword made for me. Used that to go even faster than sound. And one night... I lost, everything I had, and I went faster than I could have ever imagined." He stated, pulling his empty hand up and vibrating it so quickly that it seemed to stop and remain still. He then moved his hand away, leaving a spectral copy floating in mid air.
"Fast enough to tap into the Speedforce. Fast enough to beat the villain of my story. Fast enough to leave behind an afterimage and do many other things. Now." He said straightening himself and running off, returning a moment later. "You're going to go far, take this training well, okay?"
