Raune and all his remnants came to a halt, sliding to a stop and looking to Whis, with the sharp sound of ice freezing over the ground where the lightning barrages struck.

"How in the wor- what in the name of Oz- how did you, it was the perfect, you must've vibrated your way through that trap." They all said in unison. One removed his mask and looked around, motioning the rest forward, them all running straight to Whis-

And disappearing through another rift in space and time, returning to their own times. Raune started to walk forward, clapping.

"I don't know what you did but it sure was impressive Whis. You actually got out of an inescapable trap. Very good!" He complimented, putting his hand up for a high five. "Although, it seems your technique isn't as foolproof as you would think. In a real fight, not an empty field like this with a level playing field and no civilians or places to set traps, you need to abuse the environment to your advantage to win. That lack of abusement from your, lack of non-counter based movement could've ended badly. If I had the strength to even pinch you." As he talked, the lightning coursing up and down his body started to drain out into the ground, his overload well, over.

Whis stifled a small chuckle, one hand covering his mouth in a small giggle while the other lightly tapped onto Raune's extended hand to complete the high five.

"Yes, well, the demonstration was to show you that in actuality, your trap was not inescapable."

His normal, flat expression returned along with his voice.

"You see, while I had spent more time dodging your attacks than countering, I did manage to outright dispel a couple of your clones when I switched to offensive strikes."

He broke out into a smile once more.

"It was your confidence in your strategy to trap me that led to your miscalculation. Had this been a real match where I was attempting to kill you instead of merely avoiding your hits, we would not be having this conversation."

The taller angel began to walk to the side, gripping onto the key the Lich gave him as he moved towards Brachi, Majin Bara, and Gervene.

"The aspect of combat I used, Ultra Instinct, allows my body to move and react to opposing forces without my mind having to tell those parts to move. While my speed was still slower as a whole, the ability for my body to react without having to waste time thinking about countering your movements gave me the ability to avoid almost every attack. However, with your trap, I was presented with a dilemma where I was limited by the size of my form."

Whis stopped mid way, blocking the other three's movements before they could move off to train.

"Thanks to an old friend's technique known as Instant Transmission, I was able to dematerialize my body down to the very molecule, and move towards a target of my choice at speeds that were close to yours. It took a substantial drain on my stamina, but thanks to Ultra Instinct, I was able to weave through your trap because even my molecules reacted and evaded your trap for themselves."

He held up an arm, turning his head towards Gervene, Brachi, and Majin Bara.

"Hold a moment you three, we are about to begin the actual training. You have spent quite a great deal of time learning how to work off one another, but your efforts prove you lack any respect for those you are not familiar with."

Whis narrowed his eyes slightly at Brachi.

"Regardless of both your opponent and potential ally, you lept into the middle of an ongoing fight with a level of power that was immensely inferior to the speeds displayed. It took everything in my power not to kill you with that strike, seeing as the effort I had to use to effectively counter Raune's speed pushed me very well. Had Raune made any miscalculations or made a mistake with his own positioning, you would have surely been killed by the resulting shockwave."

His head perked slightly.

"Now, in order to further this building of teamwork between you all, we will begin the training as a unified group. Once we arrive at the new location, I will split you up in pairs to work on pushing each other appropriately to reach new heights in sparring matches."

Whis kept his smile.

"Once I am satisfied with your progress, we will begin the final stage of my training. Bernkastel will resume her trials for you if you manage to finish that phase. With that being said, are there any questions before we begin?"

Snow's three kids each tried to hit Snow, and were missing every time, despite the handicaps they were given. He kept dodging and dodging very fluidly, almost as if he was in water. After about what seemed like 15 min, he stopped it and then went to clean the windows.

Cuki barely noticed when Spina pulled her back and fidgeted constantly in his grasp by scratching and slapping him without her knowing. Once the battle was finally over she attempted to go over to Whis but Spina kept his grip on her. She growled slightly and freed herself from Spina's grasp but her tail accidentally slapped him across the face in all her excitement.

She rushed over to both Raune and Whis and didn't know who to praise first. All they would see is the glitter in her eyes.

"You guys are so amazing!" Cuki cheered and turned to Raune first. "I can't wait to be as fast and strong as you guys! You're so cool with your lightning Quickfeet! You were so fast I couldn't keep up with you! Man, I didn't know you were so fast but I promise to train extra hard so I can race you one day! I SO wanna beat you in a footrace! You better not slack off because I'mma catch up to you one day and I wanna beat you at your fastest!"

Cuki then turned to Whis and jumped in front of him with glee.

"You were just as cool too Whis! You were, like, dodging everything with your eyes closed! Whoosh! Zoom!" Cuki gently yanked at his sash while she tried to copy what he did. "Yeah, you were so graceful and calm while you did it! You even managed to get out of Quickfeet's trap, I totally thought you were done for! I can't wait to fight you one day Whis but I'm even more excited to train with you!"

Cuki backed away from the two and offered an innocent and wide smile.

"My only question is...can we go eat first?" She chuckled nervous. "I wanna be fully prepared for when you start your training Whis!"

Raune's mouth fell over, shoulders dropping, and eyes wide staring up to Whis.

"Uuuwaaaahh? You, what!? I didn't win!? Ah come on man! I went all out and the only reason I'm alive is because you need someone else to teach..." He paused for a moment, putting his hand on his head. "So, what you're telling me is that, if you were actually trying during this fight, you could've manipulated the environment to your advantage and focus on countering? So literally every problem I had with this fighting style was a the result of you holding back for teaching purposes?" He asked, before looking to Cuki.

"The er, I'll respond the compliments as soon as this giant blade sticking into my pride is pulled out!"

Snow finished the last window and then saw Whis and decided to walk over to him "Hello, Whis. How are you?" He hadn't really gotten to know the angel before so he figured he'd try for some light conversation.

Spina rubbed his cheeks. "Ouch. That kid is all over the place..." He wasn't particularly angry about it since he understand that she wanted to get stronger. He stood up, trying to process everything he saw.

"So that's Ultra Instinct huh... That's the same thing I saw with those two used it." Spina was talking to himself for a brief moment. "I have no objections from here. Maybe a quick rest and a meal before going in though." Spina narrowed his eyes. "Wait... he's going to split us into groups?"

Whis nodded curtly, turning to Raune first.

"Yes precisely. Had I intended to end this fight prematurely, you would not have been able to sprung your trap. The goal was to demonstrate the capability of Ultra Instinct, and if you are able to overcome the learning curve, it will prove an invaluable asset to your skills."

He then turned to Cuki, keeping a warm smile and soft tone.

"Thank you for the compliments, my dear, but I'm afraid I will have to decline your request. You see, Ultra Instinct is an ideology that requires you to be near your breaking point. Having you at peak efficiency such as refueling your body with a meal, would only prolong the process at this point."

The taller angel also glanced towards Spina next, watching Snow, Vegetto, and Kassava now approach the group.

"Don't worry though, by the end of the day, I'm sure we'll all enjoy a splendid course prepared by Vegetto. Now, if we are all ready to begin..."

Whis blinked in confusion, unintentionally ignoring Snow's attempt to converse with him as he looked over the key. After a few seconds of staring at the piece of metal with a perplexed expression, he turned to the Lich with a frown.

"How do I use this key? There seems to be no button to activate it."
