"I guess Mr. Whis is right... Well as long as I get stronger then I'm totally going to train with him!" Cuki giggled. "Besides, I'm curious to know how Mr. Whis teaches compared to what I already know. I can't wait!"

I just hope my Master doesn't mind me training with someone else... The youngster looked worried. But I guess any training would help if I can return back home. I just hope I can remember something when I do...

Her eyes soon shifted over to Demi-Fiend and yanked at his ear once again.

"But before we start training, we have to take a bit of a break. Someone thought it would be a nice idea to go all out over a simple water attack. Mr. Spina kinda needs a bit of medical help and clothes thanks to you. I'll be sure to lend my first aid kit and nurse him back to health. As for your punishment Demi-Fiend, you gotta sweep my floors. If you refuse then I'll make sure Vegetto doesn't serve you a dish for dinner."

Cuki turned to face the team members who lost.

"As for the rest of you, let's see..." Cuki pointed at Kass. "You can help Vegetto by cleaning and washing the dishes. This might fix any issues between you two. Mr. Quickfeet (Raune), you can make the beds. It shouldn't be a problem with your speed, right? Mr. Snow, how about you clean my windows just don't go overboard. I was gonna have Mr. Spina sweep the floors but Demi-Fiend will take his place." Cuki smiled brightly and feeling cocky for bossing the others around for today. "Alright, let's get to it everyone. I wanna relax this day!"

Raune looked over to Cuki, a wearing an expression of particular aggravation from being given orders in the middle of a conversation, and turned back to Bern, content to ignore the young Saiyan until he got a response from Bern.

"Whatever..." Spina's body continues to be slowly healed by the second. Spina was going to object to Whis' analysis, but he couldn't figure out a rebuttal against a point that was accurate. "Tch..." Spina rubbed the back of his head. "Damn it, can't argue with that... The kid was talking shit throughout the match and I succumbed to my own foolishness and should've transformed from the start... especially from the earlier displays..." Spina thought to himself. However, he raised a brow when Whis spoke about 'mushin'. "Mushin?" Spina questioned himself. "What is that?" Though, he was seemingly glad that he wouldn't have to do any more cleaning since his body still hasn't properly healed fully yet.

The voice forced himself into the conversation when Bernkastel asked for any objections. "None should object to this. If this allows them to form a better team buildup after that poor display of the dodgeball team, they ought to listen to anything at this point, especially if they're that determined to "leave" this impossible world." the voice burst into laughter. "And what about Gervene, Raune, and Demi-Fiend? They aren't Saiyans, but that doesn't mean they get to slack off as well!"

"Eh?" Demi-Fiend slapped Cuki's hand away after she yanked his ear. "Why? The apartment always rebuilds itself anyways, right? So there's no need to do any form of cleaning." He dismissed Cuki's calls for punishment for breaking her apartment in half. "Though you got me there with no dinner, so I guess I have no choice then." Demi-Fiend rubbed his chin. "Well, whatever. Not like I have anything else to do." Demi-Fiend nodded his head, headed towards the apartment before anyone else could say anything.

In an unknown area, there was a futuristic castle, seemingly flying in the air.

"Doom, why did you agree to such a challenge? Aren't you worried that they might become stronger and gained new allies during these two weeks?" A giant figure, crossing his arms, asked Doom, who sitting on a throne-like chair. Both of them were in a computer room, with multiple screens reviewing different events in this dimension. However, none of the screens have anything on Bernkastel's lackeys.

"Doom is well aware of the potential possibilities," Doom responded. "If they pose a threat to Doom, then the Witch was able to wipe those pathetic fools into shape. Which Doom desires." Doom looked at the screen for the moment, before pulling out a holographic keyboard and type in something. It brought up the tools onto the screen. "However, the Witch will undoubtedly serve a notable influence on Doom's cause."

"Nobody is dismissed until I say so, anyway." Bernkastel said with no humor in her voice.

To answer Raune, she shrugged nonchalantly at him. "That problem is regrettably more of a 'you' problem if you're too fast for anything I could teach you." She said dismissively. "The only thing I know about you is that your gimmick is speed. Speed means almost nothing in a group so out-of-sync like this one that can hardly keep up with each other's thought processes, but it is a respectable commodity to have if you are a lone survivor. Perhaps you should let Whis explain how this mushin technique works... it might be worth relearning your skill around it."

Bernkastel then narrowed her eyes at the Voice for interrupting her train of thought again. "Hmm... Maybe I'll let those three in particular use you as a punching bag for practice? You could use the exercise."

Whis' lips rose into a small smile once more, grasping onto the key the Lich gave him.

"Thank you, I'm sure we'll put it to good use shortly. I suppose now is as good a time as any to explain, given that this form of training requires your body to be at a level of complete depravity to harness the technique effectively."

Vegetto cocked an eyebrow, having prepared to turn and walk back to the apartment with the others, but stopping at Bernkastel's order.

"So what is this...mushin? I thought your training was particularly centered around another goal."

Whis covered his mouth, stifling a small chuckle.

"Oh forgive me, I simply was using terminology that those from outside of our universe might recognize. The goal I have for each of you is simply what you have already been practicing towards yourself: Ultra Instinct."

Vegetto's eyes widened slightly, watching Whis drop his arm before continuing.

"Now, if everyone has no objections to switching terms, Ultra Instinct is simply a level of skill that enables a fighter to react perfectly against his or her opponent. But instead of simply explaining in words, a demonstration might help."

He released his grip on his scepter, the long staff disappearing into thin air and the taller angel moving slightly out to the side past Bernkastel. He kept a small smile as he faced back towards Raune.

"Let's go ahead and address your concerns with a friendly spar, Raune."

Whis spaced his legs out slightly, raising his arms.

"Your objective for this demonstration is simple: try to hit me. You may attack whenever you are ready."

===============

Vegetto's narrowed eyes glanced between Whis and Raune, crossing his arms in front of his chest.

Damn...Whis is actually fighting? He's never taken this much of an interest in training before...

Kassava moved up to Vegetto's side, turning to the spectacle and nudging Vegetto's ribs with an elbow.

"How much you want to bet Whis flattens him in under ten seconds?"

Vegetto's eyes shifted to Raune, his frown strong.

"This guy is pretty fast. I don't think it'll be that quick."

Kassava paused for a moment, before perking her eyebrow.

"Twenty seconds?"

Vegetto nodded once.

"That seems more reasonable."

Raune looked over to Bern with a scowl before looking to Whis, pulling his mask back on.

"Right, a stupid fighting style mean't for people that don't have the limitations involved in being a speedster. I can tell I'm going to need to go all out for this one." He looked over to Bern again. "Speed does help for a group like this, because my family, my... Mom, my aunt, we all have issues. But we can all use our speed to work with anyone who needs help. And sometimes, coordination comes from the resolve of the soul. Now!" He turned to Whis again. "You may be some sort of god, but regardless, the Speedforce is my blade, and my Aura is my strength. This group will fall without coordination, faith is not misplaced in humanity, together they can accomplish anything, even killing a god. But divide them up, scatter them, seed distrust and they will fall. Not my problem. Not here, not now. Are you ready to race, Whis?" He asked, the blue lightning in his eyes quaking in anticipation, drawing a sword from his back, a blade of black material and lifting it up to the sky. Storm clouds formed overhead, blanketing the city, lighting casting out across the clouds and all converging directly over Raune, thunder roaring with the birth pangs of something else entirely.

He smiled with the sanctification of power before the overhead storm discharged all of it's lightning downwards, striking through Raune and filling him to his capacity with extra lightning. His whole body was shaking, simply moving that fast from the energy he had gathered. He sheathed his sword before issuing his declaration.

"This isn't even my full trick yet. This is just the prep work. Filled to the brim with extra energy, extra speed." He took a step backwards and disappeared, running in circles around Whis until some sort of portal opened up, him barrelling right through a rift in space and time. The storm seemed to relax for a moment, the rift closed, and there was a calm.

The calm was shattered by the sound of twenty different streaks of blue lightning zipping around Whis, all coming to a stop in a perfect circle formation.

"How do you like it huh? Let me show you my mother's signature trick, THE MULTI-REVERSE FLASH!" He shouted before they all engaged at Whis, punches at the ready.

The lich says to Whis "I ask that you hand the key back to me once your finished with the arena." summons a book and mark some thing down.

The book vanished as another book appears, the lich starts reading the new book.

Whis perked his eyebrows slightly, staring up at the sudden explosive sound of thunder. His expression remained mostly unchanged aside from his eyes being slightly more open, his voice flat with a small hint of concern.

"Oh my...it would seem I made a miscalculation."

The taller angel narrowed his eyes for a moment, before completely shutting them as the lightning struck Raune's body. A small wave of heat emitted outwards from around Whis' body for a split second, the atmosphere returning to its normal tempature as soon as the blue lightning streaks had reformed into the formation around Whis.

Vegetto blinked hard, glancing around for a moment before figuring out where Raune had reappeared at the end of his dash. Kassava's eyes went wide as well, leaning slightly towards Vegetto.

"Hey...uh...can I take that bet back?"

================

Whis' eyes slowly opened once the multiple entities engaged him, his arms clasped behind his back. His expression held an intense stare, deftly and swiftly evading each strike that came his way. He floated backwards through the maze of incoming attacks, only weaving and leaning from side to side to evade the streaks of blue lightning striking out at him.

His head tilted back, the crackle narrowly missing his face while his right arm shot out, his arm barreling through one of the clones and dispersing the remnant with a small flash of silver energy.

Floating back in the momentary pause, Whis stood his ground with a silent stare, his eyes not particularly tracking a single strand of the blue lightning around him.

"Just 'cause it rebuilds itself doesn't mean it doesn't get dirty!" Cuki scolded Demi-Fiend. "Not every single piece of rubble gets used up in the repair and the place often gets dirty. If you do a good job I'll give you some more biscuits, 'specially for you! But as of now, let's watch this super awesome fight."

Cuki turned her head and her eyes glittered and sparkled upon hearing that Whis was going to demonstrate his fighting style and show them an example of Ultra Instinct. Being unable to contain herself she made sure to hop in place from sheer excitement. Before the match started she composed herself as best she could and sat down as close as she was allowed so she wouldn't interfere between the little spar. Her enthusiasm was very clear from how straight her tail was and how the hairs stood on ends but her muscles were visibly tensing.

"Ultra Instinct..." Cuki whispered to herself. "I have to master this!"

She looked at Raune and loved his speech to Whis and saw him as some sort of comic book hero. Once Raune made his first move she could barely keep up with his speeds and her eyes darted around in attempts to follow him as he circled Whis. When it all came to a calm and his move unleashed Cuki twitched from the lightning flashing about and Whis's response to such an attack.

"Woooooow!!! Sooooo coooool!" Cuki crawled just an inch closer, her tail wagging. "I thought Whis is totally done for! How did he do it?! Is he faster than Quickfeet?!"
