Brachi and Majin Bara also sat down to eat, watching Cuki and Vegetto banter.

"Something wrong, Brachi?" Majin Bara.

"Hm? Oh, nothing. It's just that Vegetto's energy signature is familiar in a way, yet it also is different from what I have seen." Brachi replied.

The lich thinks as he helped Cuki "Even I got give her points for how lively is despite nearly getting killed, that is a rare among the living to have such a trait."  The lich looks at the doll and thinks "I will let the children deal with the doll." The lich sits down and starts to eat to.

"Not only that you Saiyans can fight like a madman, you can cook as well. Maybe that's just a specific set of skills your species?" the voice wondered. "At any rate, all of these foods are delicious." the voice overheard Brachi's comment regarding Vegetto.

"Ah, you probably have someone similar to Vegetto in your world, but there are infinite worlds beyond yours." the voice commented on Brachi's curiosity. "Aside from one, there are no natives here. So you might think this one is your friend, but it's not! That's the beauty of this vortex!" the voice chuckled.

"Well, to be fair, young Saiyan," the voice spoke to Cuki after she addressed Vegetto's apology. "You guys only know each other for a day, so it might be long before you can even begin to develop some friendship. I mean, that Spina been here for hundreds of years! haha! Where is he anyway? I thought all Saiyans loved food?" voice wondered.

"Now... Bernkastel... what is your plans?" the voice asked.

"I wouldn't necessarily call it a plan. That implies I'm some kind of schemer." Bernkastel took a drink of the sake from the small cup she poured it into.

"But, as some of you know, the only way to get ahold of the tools from Dr. Doom is to prove your worth through four trials. He gave me the privilege of constructing the first two for those who are willing to participate. Luckily, he has given me two weeks to shape up this group. But it seems we will have more than the ones who initially fought the Doom-bot. You may participate if you wish, I suppose. In these next two weeks, I'll be helping you three specifically with forming an actual team. You can kiss those tools goodbye if you adamantly refuse to cooperate with each other." She rearranged food on her plate as she spoke, seemingly done out of thought. "Let's see... I think a good start will not be physical training, but mental training. Especially through team-building. Something that improves your ability to think quick on your feet, but stay coordinated together." She stabbed a piece of meat with her fork and began to chew on it quietly.

"As for what I have in store for the trials... You will have to wait and see. I need to gauge how the next few days will go first before I can craft something good."

Vegetto glanced down slightly.

"I'll do my best."

Kassava peered up at the ceiling for a moment, frowning slightly before speaking up after the Voice and Bernkastel finished.

"So does this...thing talk in your heads this often? It sure is nosy and annoying about things."

She glanced around to the others, perking up.

"Why don't we talk about something more important then these 'plans'. Like...where all of you are from!"

The lich says between bites "I trust Bernkastel has something in mind for those that join this little game."

While Cuki finally placed the last piles of food on the table, she was completely tired. Taking her usual amount of food, she sat silently at a distance from the others. She looked to be giving what Bernkastel said some thought and nibbled at her food instead of gorging like she normally does.

Teamwork... She stared blankly at her food. Maybe some mental exercise and training is what I need to fill in the gaps. Looks like I gotta pay close attention to Kettles when this training begins. I just hope it works...

She was brought back to reality when she overheard Kass ask the question of everyone's origin. Cuki lowered her gaze to the floor, trying not to make any contact with the woman or the group. She did give it some thought and tried to remember anything that popped in her head. No matter how hard she tried to remember, her mind remained dark and blurry. The only images she can see were that of mountains but the area around them remain dark.

"Spina?" Cuki decided to distract herself with the Voice. "He isn't here? I guess he's not hungry... Well, more food for us I guess." It was a moment or so until she registered what the Voice said. "Wait, Spina's been here for hundreds of years?!"

"Annoying is one of many descriptors that would fit for him." Bernkastel replied to Kassava. At the question, she stared off into space as if she were digging around her mind for an actual response.

"Where am I from?... I don't quite remember exactly where I truly come from. But I do remember living in a dimension filled with a sea of fragments. I could peer into them and see all kinds of worlds that were almost like infinite copies... only they weren't perfect copies because different possibilities took place in each one. Such a fun realm that was for me to wander..." She narrowed her eyes. "I don't quite wish to ponder about any place I came from before the sea of fragments." It wasn't that she couldn't remember, as she recalled plenty about her life the past thousand years or so, but discussion of any time beyond those thousand years made her feel a visceral anger. This didn't show in her expression.

"But being here for a hundred years doesn't seem like that long, ufufu. I wonder if Spina found it easier to stop counting the days diligently after all this time?... You'd all be wise to do that too."

"Nosy? Annoying!?" the voice sound offended. "I-I'm not annoying! Bernkastel, back me u-" voice heard about Bernkastel's comments on him as well. "You're hurting my feelings here!" the voice's tone was sadness as he sniffles. "Though he was quite curious about Bernkastel backstory."

"Yup! Spina been here for centuries, so I think it might be wise to keep someone like him around!" the voice responded to Cuki. "What about you, ol' bag of bones? What reality did you came from?" the voice asked the Lich.
