"I'm pretty sure it was a stroke of sheer luck.." Black Shadow commented. "But it's worth the shot."  She begun touching the walls to see any transition were to happen in a similar vein from last time.

Silence didn't joined on touching the walls. Instead, he stood there, with his eyes closed.

"You could help out, Sir Silence." Faunix said without batting an eye to the man. "It would speed up the process of getting the mission done; one that you are eager of finishing."

Faunix touched the walls over and over again, blinding looking for some sort of button or switch. He looked over at Lix who was also doing the same thing. It looks as if Lix's blood lust isn't as strong when he has something to do. He wasn't so mindless after all.

Silence did not answer to Faunix’s question—he continued to stand there. After a brief moment, he shifted his body towards the right side, then to the left. Once again, not saying a word.

Black Shadow did the same thing as Faunix and Lix were doing. “Nothing. Seems like what happen last time is a bit different here. No switch, no activation by touching the walls…”

Faunix sighed and scratched the back of his head, confused at what might be the trick to going to the upper levels.

"This is quite a problem... We might be missing some sort of important piece to this intricate puzzle." Faunix let out a sigh and continued examine the walls, trying to see if he can spot the missing clue. "We might be here for a while..." His little white trail wiggled about, he seemed nervous about something.

Lix moved his way across the wall, sliding a clawed hand on it, trying to see if it'll start something.

Black Shadow came across a statue. A rather strange one. It depicts a figure with a singular eye. Black Shadow examined it more closely. "Hmm.."

Silence remained still. Then, he lifted his left arm up and grabbed the sword. It seems that he's ready for battle.

Faunix grew more hesitant before stopping his search. Lix also paused in his search and his body shivered with anticipation. The fur on his upper body stood up on ends, like a cat when it's threaten. However, in Lix's case, it means he feels something nearby. Faunix returned to Black Shadow's side and whispered lowly.

"Something very strong is coming this way..." He said seriously. "Brace for a battle.."

Black Shadow summoned her staff, readying herself for battle. "Yes.. I feel it too."

Behind the group, appeared a mysterious man. He had a large, black rope with a hoodie covering his face. He limber towards Faunix and the others, before falling over.

"Help.." He cried out.

Fauniz stared at the figure and didn't move just yet. He instinctively stood before Black Shadow and protected the being. Lix, being interested by the mysterious man, slithered to him and lifted him by the back of his robe and stared at him directly.

"Lix...please be careful." Faunix said with a slight sigh.

The man was critically injured. Blood were dripping from his face-hinting that he was in a battle.

"Please.. I need healing.." He beg.

Black Shadow stepped forward. "I can heal the man."

Lix looked over to Faunix and Black Shadow before placing him back down to the floor. Faunix stared at the man and wondered if they were too late to save the man.

"He's pretty messed up, Black Shadow..." Faunix said softly. "I wonder what happened to him."

"What happened to you?" Lix said bluntly. "Who attacked you and how powerful were they?"

"Damnit Lix, can't you wait until the man gets healed first?" Faunix sighed, obviously annoyed. Lix remained quiet, waiting for an answer.
