Good Days

"I'd be glad to help." Neatnik replied to Ross.  He looked around with his compound eyes for any sights of trouble as they walk

He wasn't so fond of the cold. Luckily, the uniform helped a lot. Though his exposed face still feel the cold wind occasionally. He looked at the black smokes and wondered if it was just people cooking or something bad. His antenna picked up many different information, mostly the mineral on the ground.

Mex turned around to face Artic after she asked a question. Raising a brow in confusion, Mex responded. "It's nothing like that. These things looked pretty cool, so it will be a shame if I didn't bring something back as a souvenir. Something to remind myself when we leave this world after the mission is done." Mex felt a cold breeze on his face. Although the suit adjusted to the temperature, he shows his concerns. "Man, what kind of people would want to live in this cold planet?"

As the group are on their way towards the campsite, objects and debris seems to appeared. It was scattered all over the place as if a battle had occurred here. Large debris and objects were rusted, deteriorating or if touch, will fall apart instantly.

"Man, whatever happened here, did not turned out too well." Mex said as he saw the debris. He noticed that the group was close to the location. It was on the other side of the hill as the black smoke rages on. Mex went on ahead towards the top of the hill to see the campsite for the inhabitants and see where their government's house is located. However, Mex looked down and see no trace of inhabitants anywhere. "Huh? I don't see anything."

"Uh.... that doesn't sound good..." Damara looked around with her ears perked for any sound that would indicate movement. "If they aren't here then I don't think we'll be getting any help. You think the government wiped em all out or somethin'?"

"It would be a shame if they were exterminated." Artic frowned. "I believed they would have been of great used to our mission. However, they could be hiding but that seems doubtful..."

Artic fanned herself, the climate being a bit too warm for her despite the wind being a bit chilly. She kept a look out for anything that might signify any sort of life within the mess.

Ross thinks "So I the only one that actually traveled the universe."

Ross says "We shooed scout this place out any way just incase that some one friendly is still hear or some one we can beat the intel out of." Ross sends Wraith to scout a bit looking for movement.

Mex took a moment as he observed the area from afar. "No..." Mex said. "I do not think they have been wiped out. I sense plenty of energy down there. Lots of them. I think Ross is right. We should scout the area and see what we can find." Mex jumped from the hill-top towards the ground. He left a small imprint of his feet onto the ground when he landed.

Wraith starts scouting out the camp as Fi and Ross start to move torts the camp.

Ross says to the group "We should be reedy for anything."

Fi is moving in front of Ross.

He would have thought they have been destroyed by the government had his attenna not tell him otherwise. He sensed people. Where were they then? He had no idea... Unless they are hiding underground... Either way, he followed the group, keeping his senses focus.

Lightwaved followed not saying, lost in his thoughts thinking about the destruction, and whether or not it would be possible for an underground refugee camp to be sensed from orbit.

"Well, I don't see anyone out there in the camp... maybe they went into those mines?" Damara suggested. "I could check down there with someone," she volunteered. She noticed that their footsteps left behind footprints. "Hey! Make sure to check the ground for marks that aren't ours. It could speed up the search."
