Jaz watched her father take Junior away and she rolled her eyes. Trailing over to Mioi, she seemed a bit confused about Helga and what she was. She assumed it was something her father created since it knew her name.

"Hey Mioi, Dad said you might be bored. He said that we should clean out the room next to the lab. I think you're gonna sleep there." Jaz smiled. "Besides, I wanna know how those bugs taste like on Mars."

======

"Gathering information of other universes for you, Sir Oriko." Helga chimed in. She was quiet for a moment but spoke once again. The same hologram from before showed a visual of what she was explaining. "I have a source that talks about a small, Godly Imp-like creature and another one that talks about attacks from strange creatures roughly 6 years ago. In that same universe, about 2 years later from the attacks, a man named Lucifer who has taken over Europe, Italy being his starting point. It appears that Angels have came into existence thanks to this Lucifer figure and it caused a retaliation." Helga went silent for a moment before tuning back in. "I am afraid this is as much knowledge I can gather of that universe, Sir Oriko. I will continue to search for more information and keep you updated as frequently as I can."

Helga's hologram turned into a chibi smile.

=======

"Helga, show the images." Kire spat.

"Yes master."

On a large screen, it shows images straight from Jaz's memories. The images show Junior and Jaz fighting, another of them in the mall, several of the Dread Saiyan, and a large picture of Junior of protecting Jaz from Dread.

"I just don't get you, Junior..." Kire paced back and forth. "You're a smart kid. You're one of the most powerful people in the universe, You're this all powerful being, able to destroy planets with a flick of your finger."

Kire stopped before snapping his fingers and a photo of Junior's recent argument with Jaz appeared.

"Yet you run away from your problems..." Kire crossed his arms and glared at Junior with confused eyes rather than his usual loathe. His voice was surprisingly calm and gentle to Junior. "I guess 25 years without Jaz hit ya' hard, huh? Y'know Junior... you can't just run away from your problems all the time, that ain't gonna fix anything for ya'. Look what it got ya' with Jaz when you didn't tell her about your little visit with Vaylin. Did ya' think that if you hid it from Jaz, it'll just simply go away? I would've thought someone as strong as you can handle simple problems like that. You lack...confidence, kiddo. Why is that? You're super strong and smart! Why do you have no confidence in yourself..?"

"Hmm, yes, I suppose dwelling on things that cause stress all the time will render me bored and lacking any form of stimulation. Especially when you are in a room full of life form that can vaporize you with a blink of their eyes." Mioi said as she turned her gaze to meet Jaz. "I've completely forgotten of the concept of sleep. Must be the carbonite affecting my physiology along with the fact I am not underground."

"You will be happy to know I have vast knowledge about the many species of insects you can actually eat safely on Mars! My personal favorite are the candied beetles with many horns. They are the crunchiest." The alien felt much more comfortable being around people that weren't constantly tense in their tempetament. She decided not to ask about Junior since they just came back and she assumed Kire was having some kind of conversation with Junior in the other room. "Plus, I am slightly unnerved by the giant screen staring down on me."

"What?!" Oriko jumped back at the information. "I knew Lucifer was arrogant but.. to just invade the Earth like that? Damnit! If only I was there to help!" He slowly paced back and forth while pondering. He didn't even consider what the "attacks" Helga mentioned were. "Why did I have to be stuck in this stupid universe while my own is in danger? Why?" He thought about everybody he knew in that universe; his friends, his parents, Maki. All of them were in danger unless he could get back to rally a force to fight them. But how was he going to get back? If the angels were already engaged with a conflict with Lucifer, they would be too busy fighting him to get him back. Even if they could, how would he contact them? All of these thoughts paced back and forth through his mind as he pondered what he could do.

"Helga, is there any known method of traveling between universes?" He asked the a.i. "I need to get back to my universe to help everybody there. I really do."

Vegetto Jr. glanced down in the middle of Kire's lecture, refusing to lift his attention away from the floor as he sat quietly for a few moments.

"I was going to tell her. I just...I wanted to be with her a little longer before I took the risk..."

==============

Koth rubbed his chin, before rapidly turning on his heel.

"And on the potential crisis of another universe invading this one, I think I'd better get started on fixing up the Gravestone. If anyone needs me, I'll be working on the engine thrusters in on the second deck."

Gogeta Jr. turned his head, watching Koth depart down an adjacent hallway. He let out a heavy sigh, leaning his back against the nearby wall and crossing his arms.

Better take this opportunity to relax while I can.

===============

The two smoke clouds resulting from both Janembuus being struck simultaneously began to dissipate slowly, the large pink purple blob of goo rapidly shooting out from the smoke cloud left behind by Brachi and Xenest's attacks. The original Janembuu slowly stood up, multiple holes and contusions covering his entire body. His eyes narrowed sharply into a glare, the goo of the clone quickly filling in the damage left behind as he rapidly regenerated to a perfect state, his dark purple aura flaring out dramatically in his clear rage. His arms bulged heavily in his powering up, the massive surge in power clear to any sensing the energy flying out in the room.

The Dread Saiyan stood still, standing next to Vegetto whose bright red aura flashed with lightning despite his body trembling heavily.

"Their best efforts still weren't enough. You have no other options left; allow me to take control."

Vegetto kept his eyes narrowed, glancing down for a split second at his clenched fists before turning his attention back to the monster at play.

C'mon guys...put him down for the count.

Feeling it was time to finish it, both Brachi and Xenest powered up with Golden Demigod Brachi having charged her Mystic Spirit, while, Inazuma Xenest had prepared his Orochi no Hakai attack, ignoring his current action of regeneration, before Brachi used her own Instant Transmission technique to teleport them to the side of Janembuu and unleash the massive blue and black energy wave of their combined attack, the Mystical Destruction, as Janembuu was left wide open from his sudden upsurge, wanting to be sure there was nothing left of him.

Solaris grabbed Janembuu, throwing himself behind the monster and leaving him in the way of the Mystical Destruction but trying to ensure Janembuu couldn't escape.

"You're not going anywhere." He remarked.

Come at me... And you'll see... I'm more then meets the eye...

"Candied Beetles? Are they sweet?" Jaz entered the room next to her father's lab. There were boxes scattered about and the room wasn't all too messy. Jaz took a hold of one box and tossed it out of the room. "There's one bug I think that's super gross... I hate centipedes." Jaz shuttered. "They're just so creepy with their hundreds legs and stuff. Ugh.."

Jaz noticed that KABS was still completely around her body and thought if there was something she can do to make it more casual. She fiddled around with the diamond centerpiece.

"Errm, KABS, think you can turn into something more casual?" Jaz said poking the centerpiece. "Something me and Mioi would like."

: Alright Lady Jaz. More casual attire on the way. :

The centerpiece blinked for both Mioi and Jaz. Jaz's suit turned into a sports bra/tank and shorts. Mioi's suit turned into a shirt and shorts. Both were still skin tight but at least it was a bit more 'normal'. Jaz felt a little uncomfortable at her top half and groaned knowing that it was her father's idea.

"Why does Dad want me to wear this..? But anywho, do you have centipedes in Mars, Mioi?"

======

"Unfortunately, I currently do not know of any useful method or machine that can aid you in jumping universes, Sir Oriko." Helga said "The only way you can go to another universe is if you gain enough power to open some sort of wormhole or rift or if someone from that universe takes you themselves. I will continue gathering data and keep you updated if new ways are available."

=========

Kire frowned at Junior but felt a bit of pity for the boy. He moved over to his laptop and typed in his usual nonsense before a picture of Jaz and Junior appeared. Both were happy and having fun. Kire made his way over to Junior and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Look, I know I was harsh on you kiddo but I just don't wanna see Jaz get hurt." Kire walked with Junior to the large bed in the room and sat down with him. "You went through hell looking for Jaz in the last 25 years. I'm not gonna take her away from you, okay? What kind of a father would I be if I separated the two lovebirds, eh? Jaz sees something in you and I think I'm starting to see what it is..."

Kire soon wrapped an arm around Junior's shoulder and pulled him closer to give him a noogie.

"You really are a dork." Kire laughed before releasing the boy. "Listen Junior, you really gotta start having a bit more confidence in your abilities. Don't be scared of your power! Embrace it! The more you learn about your power and who you are, the better you can control it and not worry about Dread. I told lil' Dread that I'll make sure you don't ever become him again. I got some faith in you, the least you can do is have a bit more confidence in your skills." Kire smiled before standing up and stretching his mechanical arms. "You're a lot more than what you give yourself credit for and that's what Jaz sees in you. That's why she loves you."

Kire paused for a moment and slapped a palm to his forehead.

"Aw damnit, I was suppose to keep that a secret..."

"They are sweet enough where one would satisfy the craving, I suppose. I prefer to eat the beetles that are about the size of my hand." Mioi lifted a box off of the floor and tentatively weighed it with her arms before placing it on the ground outside of the room. "I agree that these clothes are rather strange. I am not used to having much of my skin exposed. But they are functional and comfortable at least, with this kind of temperature." At Jaz's question, she turned her nose up in disdain. "Those hundred-legged creatures are meager in their nutritional value and have no more flavor than a mouthful of soil. When I caught sight of them in my living compound, I took much amusement in vaporizing the wretched things."

Vegetto Jr. only scoffed in response, refusing to meet Kire's eyes and suddenly shrugging off the man's arm from his shoulder. He quickly rose to his feet, placing his hands on his hips with his back turned to Kire.

"Confidence in my abilities? You mean, the ability to fail at stopping those two for decades?"

He let out a sarcastic chuckle, the defeat clear in his tone.

"Oh yeah, I have so much to be proud of. Watching helplessly as they wipe worlds clean to scare the universe into revealing the location of the Outlanders. Challenging them head on, only to be tossed aside and chased by some spoiled brat that could end my life in an instant if she wasn't entertained."

He lifted his head towards the ceiling it, shaking it once.

"All my 'power' has gotten me is failure, even with Jaz. I couldn't even save myself for her...another spectacular failure that only ended with me falling down further into this depravity I created for myself. That's why I broke out all of you; because I'm not the same hero my father is. That Brachi is, that all of them are. They are the ones who fix everything when it all goes wrong, not me."

Vegetto Jr.'s head finally dipped.

"There's nothing to be confident about when all you do is fail the people who count on you the most."

=====================================

Janembuu turned his head towards the two charging up above him, tensing with a confident smirk in preparation to take the attacks. His attention soon diverted to Solaris, grunting angrily at the taunt before rapidly slashing his arm down at the warrior, sending him flying across the room.

The monster barely had time to turn his head, however, his back wide open as the massive energy wave quickly engulfed him in its destructive force. Vegetto held up his arm, tensing at the sudden torrent of wind left in the wake of the blast, the smoke cloud soon covering the room.

The auras of the warriors quickly dispersed the smoke, the small crater leaving no trace of the monster in its wake. Vegetto smirked at the sight, his aura fading away while he descended back into his normal state while the Dread Saiyan looked on with an uncharacteristic frown.

"See? Your help wasn't needed."

The Dread Saiyan kept his arms crossed behind his back.

"This time. An unexpected turn of events, but your denial of me hurts us both. You do not know what waits for you beyond this corridor."

Vegetto raised an eyebrow, turning his head slightly towards the apparition.

"What are you going on about?"

The Dread Saiyan turned on his heel, a glare on his face as he locked eyes with Vegetto.

"You chose to deny your evolution here, and you will pay the consequences for it there. I could have given you the power to face your next test, but instead, you chose to believe in your foolish competitive drive for your answers."

His attention soon turned to the rest of the warriors, his tone lacking anger but the disappointment clear in its enunciation.

"You may have found an answer to succeed here, but you will not have the strength to face what comes next. Only then, will you regret rejecting the gift of my power."

The ghost soon disappeared into thin air, leaving the group behind in silence for a moment.

Vegetto shook his head, watching Senya slowly make her way towards the others with her head to the ceiling.

"This was only the second trial, the Scions should have spoken to us by now."

Both Brachi and Xenest smiled as they saw that their attack had the desired effect of defeating the monster, putting him down once and for all. This eventually led to them hugging each other, as if being happy they managed to defeat the monster, before releasing each other to wait for the next trial.
