Personally, I don't see it as a good idea. Mainly because that's something you can technically accomplished by speaking directly with the person, rather than making a thread for people to take on a "puppet" character and played the way you expected them to play (whether or not this is your intention is not the issue, I'm looking at a general sense) and just be confusing at the least. So I think it's not an necessity for this time.

Well the idea is to help new members if they don't know what kind of character they should make. But it's not really important xD

Another idea: I suggest we work on a list of species in Boogaverse (with description and example characters) to help people choose & write easier.

Also, Yesterday I sketched a species that live in the ocean tho (aside from mermaids) they be like Atlanticans, undersea palace and alll. The idea just came while I was drawing appearances for my characters

Well, species are not really needed since you can literally make up anything and Shina Ania is kinda the home for any sort of monster/mythical creatures anyone can think up. I added my mermaid and her sea monster to that area not that long ago. xDD

What about a sort of urban legend on each continent and if you find/capture the creature of legend, you get a special item to aid you in your adventure @Shine

Ex: Rumor says that Paradise has a legendary flying horse that can fly faster than lightning. If you manage to bring evidence of that animal, the horse will give you a sort of weapon/ability that represents its own. In this case, flying or super speed.

Just a thought.

Yeah but there are so many variety out there, so people might be confused which version to use for appearance. For example what kind of demons Boogaverse based its demons on.

(Unless we allow every varieties here :think: )

Questions tho:

- For Desolate Land, what kind of mutation do ppl/animals born there have? Is it just appearance/defects or X-men kind of mutation?

- For Demons, they must only live in the underworld or are they free to come and go? (Though I figured if they go to the living world they won't be allowed to come back cause they will be considered exposed to the neutral energy?)

Specifying species would stifle creativity I think. Just like how the worshipped figures on Booga don't match up to most mythology/religion IRL, I don't think demons or monsters need to be tied down to a certain species. 

Like for my monster character, she's humanoid but retains plenty of traits that make her classify as a monster instead of maybe a deimos or a mutated human. Vague but general guidelines to certain categories do best if they avoid speciation. We would be here all day if we tried to make a list of allowed species w/ names, haha! Just like there are innumerable species of finches, there would be innumerable species of non-humans.

For aliens and the Underworld though I've little opinion since those sections are not exactly developed yet... that's my onion though

Yeah. Now that I think about it I agree with Loopy on that xD Never mind then.


Do you think there should be a reputation count for every quest completed? Like the quests give you good/bad reputation in the area? For example if you have 5 good reputation people in the area know your name and you can get discounts or quest offers? And too many bad reputation means people are either afraid of you or want to fight you. But with many bad reputation, being in the Crime center gives you offers and admirers (In contrast, you might end up on the wanted list on the Hero mission board if you have too many bad rep?)? xD I had this idea when I was thinking of a quest to put into my area.

EDIT: How about a list of slangs and terms used only in Boogaverse? Like I saw one of the characters used Viegan instead of God. So I thought a list of slangs and terms will be useful to help everyone keep the consistency. How people of each continents are called can be added into the list too. It can go like this:


Oh my Viegan - Oh my god
etc.

I think that just complicated things overall. No math and whatnot is needed, along with slangs lol.

Hmm I'm just not sure which type of building structure to use for the Deimos homes and buildings. The second pic look more Spanish xD
The city is going to be the place people will arrive first when they go to the Deimos continent since it also has a harbor so I might go for the first pic. The second one maybe I can make a small harbor for Shina Ania or Desolated :think:
