The Reality Vortex: New Roads

Panich simply sighed as she was left alone with the mess of a destroyed city, an angered police force and the pesky Blank Guy. She hadn't realized just how much damage they were leaving behind, but she didn't pay it any mind. As a Brachi came back and offered her assistance, Panich shook her head promptly. "I think I'll take the scenic route." She replied taking a step forward, leaving thief with a boot print on his back as she pushed off of him and leaped into the air. "I'll see you soon." At a swift speed, she made her way toward the card shop within minutes and landed down, entering the establishment and reverting back to her base form.

Panich placed herself behind the group, leaning against a nearby wall as the others conversed among themselves and with the shopkeeper. She turned her attention to Spina and asked. "What were you all able to accomplish in our absence?"

Blank Guy screamed after Panich broke each finger, then having her foot pressed against his back. He got up and limped away, before passing around again from the pain.

Spina landed on the floor after Gogeta once again knocked him down. “Damnit! Would you just chill out for a damn second!? I’m this close of crushing your head of yours!” Spina became irritated by Gogeta’s antics. “This is why I opposed to the idea of adding them to our group. They haven’t been here for 5 minutes and they already got us under hot water. If push comes to shove, we might have to bug Cross’ men to stay low for a damn while.”

Dusting himself off, Spina turned to Panich. “We know that Ultraman had been buying specific cards from this shop—only the Breaker Cards. So, I guess either he’s a huge fanboy with a creepy obsession or he’s using it for data… or something. But we rule him out as the Coin Hunter. We agreed that he’s too prideful and incompetent to do the things Coin Hunter does, according to Lucifer.”

“Yes, now that we got the card, we might be one step closer to who is associated with the Coin Hunter. But, before he’ll answer, as Bernkastel said, you three need to pose for a picture for his next set of the Brave Worlds cards. Might want to get that out of the way so we can move on.” Lucifer chuckled.

“Yeah, so get ready before the mob gets in here or something.” Kazuki said, excited that Cross kept his promise of restoring the shop. He got the camera out and ready to go.

"Photographs?" Panich raised an eyebrow awkwardly before watching the shop owner ready his camera at them. "What about an alternative. You give us the information we require, and your camera gets to remain intact." She glared menacingly at Kazuki.

Gogeta lost his smirk at Bernkastel's requirements, holding a mostly confused stare in meeting Spina's eyes as well after the group informed them. He eyed Panich's threatening demeanor, but in stark contrast to her ominous words, Gogeta broke out into a wide smirk and proudly gleamed.

"Alright!! I'll pose for the pictures!"

He flashed a confident smirk and suddenly gripped onto the insides of his vest, slightly pulling it open and flexing his chest and abdominal muscles with a triumphant grunt. Sparkles seemed to glimmer around his body ironically, despite the lack of an aura to compliment his blue pupils and hair, and he stood still as a board in his pose while waiting for the camera.

Cross says "So once were are finished I gest we are teleporting there."

Cuki stared at the group with a smile as she walked over to the front of the group since she was most likely one of the shortest. Keeping her promise to Kazuki, she made sure to keep herself visible for his photo. She grinned brightly for the first time in a while as she held up a peace sign with her right hand. Despite her smile being full of life, it was still awkward for her, especially around new people.

New people as part of the Breakers, huh... Cuki lowered her gaze to the floor for a moment. Maybe that emptiness will be filled with the kindness of the others. That sickening void... should I give them the chance or should I wait and see..?

Cuki shook herself out of her inner thoughts and stared directly towards Kazuki.

"Alright guys, let's say cheese!"

Kazuki narrowed his eyes. “Or you can leave my shop and you won’t get closer to whenever you’re trying to find the information.” However, seeing the rest of the Breakers chiming in the photo, he’d smiled. “Looks like you’re the odd man out, missy.”

Before Panich can resort, Kazuki took several pictures of the group once again. “Yeah, this is a good pose. Yep, yep. I can make mad money off of this.” After several minutes of photos, he placed the camera down.

“There we go. Thank you for your repaying what you have done. At least people who think I’m some kind of loon for fighting against the Breakers.”

Lucifer nodded. “Well, then can you tell us about the card?”

“Yeah.” Kazuki said, approaching Bernkastel and looking at the card she held in her hands (while keeping a reasonable distance between himself and her). “So, this card came in my shop… yes…” Kazuki seen the Mask with a rainbow pattern on it. “Ah… I think I know where that came from.”

Kazuki went back to his corner and pulled out a box. He’d pulled one of the receipts of the cards. “Yeah, there was a young woman named Hart Kimber. If I remember correctly, she came in here to ask to make these custom cards. She didn’t specify why she needed them other than helping out someone’s business.”

“Business?” Spina asked.

“Yeah… in fact, she came in here with Ultraman that one time when the latter was buying the Breaker Cards…”

“She came in here… with Ultraman?” Spina narrowed his eyes. “Does she have any association with him?”

“Hart works in a restaurant across the city under her father. Ultraman is a regular over there.” Kazuki stated. “If she knows about the Coin Hunter, she’s your best bet.”

Lucifer turns to the Breakers. “Well, I think we got another clue. Perhaps before we teleport out of town, we should head over there and check it out?”

Spina thought to himself. “No doubt people would start wanting Brachi, Gogeta and Panich to pay for the damages, but then we got a name of someone who might be associated with Coin Hunter....” He was slightly embarrassed with Gogeta’s constant request of requiring Super Saiyan 4. “What do you guys think?”

"The Blank Man started all this; I didn't actually use much of force other than trying to pin him down..." Brachi said, as she had been actively wanting to avoid collateral damage.

"Hart Kimber? Hmm." Cuki tilted her head, being unfamiliar with the name. "Never heard of her before, I guess she might be the one seeking the cards? I think we should pay her visit and ask her about Ultraman's obsession and if she knows anything about the Coin Hunter. Since she's got a father, I'm willing to bet that her dad could be behind all this. We should check it out and see if we can talk to her father too. Smells like we're gonna solve this case real soon!"
