Raune paused for a moment in his movement, looking to see the battle with Demi-Fiend and Vegetto's battle.

"I think I liked the blue flame more." He muttered before resuming his pained steps, glancing to the ground for his sword.

Cuki stared at Kassava's powered up state and huffed. Her condition was getting worse and worse but her sheer determination and stubbornness refuses her body to let go. She held her hands up to block the first couple of blows Kassava threw at her but eventually the numbness and pain forced her arms to lower and expose the rest of her body and face to her onslaught. Cuki tried to fight back but Kassava's speed and power overwhelmed her completely and the pain held her back as well. The glowing fire behind her eyes began to lose its vigor and valor while Cuki was defenseless to stop each and every hit she took. It was obvious that she was unable to fight back.

What do I do? What can I do at this point..? Cuki's mind raced. My body is completely out of energy and I can't fight back. Maybe Kass is right... I'm just not...

Before Cuki could even finish her thoughts, the surge of pain consumed her body and she felt herself pushed back by Kassava's blows. Her body was pushed back several meters where it slid to a stop a few feet from Demi-Fiend and Vegetto. The Saiyan's body laid face down and showed no signs of life by how she barely moved, even to breathe. However, after a few minutes and punishment Kassava gave her, Cuki's tail twitched with life and the Saiyan struggled immensely to slowly force herself back up to her feet. She stumbled to keep herself up but something was a little off about her.

The fire Cuki's eyes had before was completely gone and all that remained was a bloody face with dull lifeless eyes. Her eyes stared directly at Kassava but it would only look as if she was staring off into space. Cuki began to walk towards Kass however, each step she took lacked control and her body wobbled and stumbled like a zombie. There was no doubt she was unconscious and the only thing keeping her up was the sheer will and determination she had to prove herself to the others. A smirked formed on Cuki's lips as if to mock Kassava and everything she said.

Snow took the hits, and began falling towards the ground, but just as he was about to hit the ground he flipped up and landed on his feet and said "Hey Mr.Whis. I have a question. Would surviving a singularity event cause us to hit some of the right conditions for this Ultra Instinct?"

Demi-Fiend's eyes stared back at Vegetto's, cracking out a grin on his face. "I'm quite impressed." the demon warrior praised, but the tone shifted a bit in his next sentence. "Mind if I..." His tone went from a playful tone to a more serious demeanor as his tattoos began to light up across his body. An excess of energy began to flow surround his body, then suddenly pour out across all directions in the entirety of the area, causing the ground to become unstable. At first, the ground both Demi-Fiend and Vegetto stood on began to crack a bit, then, what it seems to be an instantaneous chain reaction, the entire ground in the area shattered like ice.

He swung both of his arms outward, breaking free from Vegetto's grasp that's keeping him in place, it registers in his mind that despite Vegetto dodging his moves, there's a difference between their strength. "Get a little serious?" Demi-Fiend finished his sentence as he grabbed onto Vegetto's shirt, pulling the almighty fused warrior closer to close the gap between them as he readied his punch. Clenches his fist tightly, bursting with such erratic energy, he pulled back his arm behind him and proceed to launched towards Vegetto with a intent of destruction, to kill, to destroy, to eliminate, to erase. Demi-Fiend's expression changed significantly, dropping his cocky demeanor, into a frightening warrior that set to kill at moment's notice. Yet, at that moment, Demi-Fiend suddenly stopped his fist in mere inches away from the man's face, causing a influx of wind to swoop the man and everything behind him, causing Snow, Bara, and Brachi to flung backward from the sheer pressure of the wind from his punch.

The wake of this sudden stop causes the ground to crumble into nothingness. Demi-Fiend's eyes stared at Vegetto's once again and returned his smile. "But that would mean I might end up cleaning stuff up again..."  He placed his hand onto Vegetto's forehead and did a simple, yet powerful finger-flick to create distance between the two.

Both Brachi and Majin Bara screamed in surprise as they were being flung backwards from the sudden force of the pressure, both women trying to stabilize themselves to get back to the main area, staring at Demi-Fiend in surprise.

"Wow, that was quite strong." Brachi said as she managed to get herself to a stop, holding Majin Bara in the process.

Whis held a small frown at Snow's question.

"I suppose it would help push you to your breaking point, but you are focusing on the wrong goal here. Your end goal should be in allowing your limbs to move independently of your thoughts, without the mind limiting their movement. As your body strains under the ki...your mind begins to lose concentration and wane. This is simply your body attempting to move on its own, to react to the speeds needed to keep fighting."

His eyes narrowed slightly.

"If you can focus on letting your body move on its own over how to tire yourself out, then you'll have a better chance at learning the technique."

=========================

Vegetto's intense stare never once faltered under the display, the silver eyes watching the fist sail forward. His gi and silver hair rippled back heavily in contrast to his stern stare, his body standing still against the intense winds. He remained silent throughout, his head finally whipping back with the small minuscule flick.

Vegetto's head hung back as his upright body slid along the ground, the heels of his boots tearing through the ground before slowly coming to a halt. A red imprint was left in the center of Vegetto's forehead as it slowly came back into view, Vegetto's expression having remained. He lifted his arms up, his eyes turning from Demi-Fiend to his fists.

"I've had enough."

The silver flame like glow continued to surge, his eyes lifting to Demi-Fiend.

"I've gotten the hang of this...Ultra Instinct. Continuing this fight is pointless now."

==========================

Kassava's eyebrow twitched as she stared Cuki down, watching the movements with clenched fists. The red and blue aura surged violently, her arms pulling behind her back.

"Alright then brat!! You still want some more...come and get some!!"

A small sphere of bright blue energy surged in the cupped palms she held in place, her eyes narrowing fiercely as she changed the familiar words.

"Ka...me..."

The ground shattered beneath her feet suddenly, the sphere exploding out in size past her fingers.

"Ha...me..."

She launched her arms forward, her eyes widening with a thunderous shout.

"HA!!"

The massive blue wave of energy spiraled forward in an instant, indiscriminately tearing through the ground towards the approaching Cuki without care towards whether or not it may hit Raune or Spina.

Cuki's emotionless eyes and lifeless body faced the incoming blast Kassava shot off, stopping in her tracks and facing it head on. A familiar light blue energy engulfed her palms and eventually her body, all without warning. The flare pushed her hair up and even undid her ponytail forcing her hair to mess up in the surge. Her legs would brace themselves on the ground and the energy swirling on her hands would turn into the faces of two tigers. As the blast grew closer to her, her eyes widen and she slammed both hands against the energy. She slid back a few inches while the tiger-like energy grew bigger and bigger, biting down on the Kamehameha from both sides and stopping it.

She gently moved her hand in an elegant manner to guide the energy and follow the motion of her hand. In a way, she had control of the blast and its trajectory. Both blasts would look like graceful wisps or flowing water as Cuki turned her body around and fired the attack right back at Kassava with more power than before. The tigers would swirl around the Kamehameha until they would change color and merge to form the face of the Chinese Lion.

All Kassava would see is a the large face of the Chinese Lion glaring down at her, the mane outlined by white energy that looked more like flames than anything else and golden eyes. As it grew closer to Kassava it would only get larger, blocking out almost everything in her sight while it opened its mouth to let out a roar and consume Kassava with her own blast. The sheer amount of energy destroyed the ground, leaving a path of charred earth that lead directly to Kass. On the other side of the blast, Cuki dropped to the floor. The stress was too much for her to handle and she finally succumbed to unconsciousness.

"Hmph." Demi-Fiend shook his head sideways, as he placed his hands on his side. "Still with the act huh? You don't get to decide when this fight is over." His comment weighs in after Vegetto boasted that he got a handle of his new state. "You noticed it didn't you? You can dodge all you want, but it won't mean a thing if you cannot overpower them in the slightest."

Before Vegetto can utter out a response, Demi-Fiend's hand was placed on his shoulder, their faces mere inches away from each other. "You know that this isn't enough for me. So I'm going to continue until I'm quite satisfied with the results. Whether you comply or not." Demi-Fiend's gripe pushed Vegetto's body, his feet digging downwards towards of what remains of the shattered earth. "Let's see if that Ultra Instinct can keep up. If you truly mastered it, this should be a no-brainer. Right? Right?" Demi-Fiend switches back to his more aggressive demeanor. "For a man to break their shell and move beyond, you have to do more than just simply besting the enemy. There's something beyond that... because if that's all you needed, we shouldn't be wasting this time training. You have no resolve, but instead, act that power is enough based on my observation from that dodgeball." Demi-Fiends turns to Kassava before eyeing Vegetto once more. "Let's see if you can achieve that resolve on actual consequences."

"
"

Demi-Fiend grabbed onto his arm, pulling him out of the ground and swung him over his head to repeatedly slammed him back and forth like a rag doll. "All it takes is to be pushed to your absolute limit, but how can you learn if someone is far more superior? You're just dragging on, as you said, a pointless battle if you still can't defeat the enemy." After multiple slamming the fused warrior to the ground, he turns his sight towards the battle between Cuki and Kassava. Cuki had fallen out after releasing everything she got despite her efforts against the powerful god of time.

Without giving Vegetto an ample enough time to properly react nor recover, Demi-Fiend tossed the fused warrior near Cuki and Kassava as dashed towards them. Firstly, he slammed his knee onto Kassava's back, pushing her into the blast between her and Cuki. As the explosion occurred, Demi-Fiend jumped into the smoke and the sounds of broken bones can be heard. As the smoke clears itself out, Demi-Fiend as emerged with his foot upon her back, implying that he had broken her back. "Gods who let their ego fail to see the resolve of mortals. Cuki was able to push to her absolute limit. Have you?" Demi-Fiend questioned, grabbing Kassava on the back of her hair.

"As with you, this woman has no resolution; the only victory is on her mind. Take a stand, Vegetto." Demi-Fiend uttered his name for the first time. "This should be the resolved that you seek. The vastness of your strength does not come from pure power alone." The man grabbed her leg and toss Kassava towards Vegetto before opening his hand and pointing it towards Kassava. The tattoos on his body brighten up as he uttered a phrase. "Gaea Rage."

Kassava's body was coated with energy as she flung towards the direction of Vegetto, providing him with two options. Dodge and watch Kassava explode or save her, but the end result is still the same. "Can Ultra Instinct prevent this?" Demi-Fiend awaits for his answer.

Inbetween two blasts of massive energy, Raune felt the lightning surging through his body, his eyes lighting up like a thunder storm and it arcing across his limbs. Barely thinking, solely reacting Raune rushed forward, disappearing in a flash. Spina would find himself on the ground at the edge of the arena, the sword Raune used, Stormruler, in his hand. Next to Spina was Raune, staring up at the sky, himself a few chunks of flesh inside an empty suit, reduced to only the essential organs, and nothing else.

No final scream. No final words. Just disintegration, his flesh vaporizing. Nor had he achieved Ultra Instinct when pushed to his absolute extreme, he only found death, and the embrace of the Speedforce.

Before Kassava's fate was decided by Vegetto's action or lack thereof, her body suddenly became suspended in midair mere feet away from where Vegetto was standing. The space around her distorted like an orb rippling water-- Bernkastel had left Whis's side and stood at the floor of the arena, with a single finger extended outwards holding Kassava frozen, or at least extremely slowed down, in time relative to everyone else thanks to Bernkastel's magic with manipulating fragments like this.

She had no clear expression on her face, but her cold gaze was locked onto Demi-Fiend's. "That's enough."

Bernkastel's tone was serious, but carried no anger in it. "Whether or not this Ultra Instinct has been truly achieved in his case, doesn't matter knowing that you are merely in this to sate your boredom, Demi-Fiend. While what you've said is mostly true, there's no need to be wasting your energy going this far for a mere spar.  You've essentially won an endurance contest, nothing more." Bernkastel gestured with her free hand over at the ones who have fallen out of either death or exhaustion. "Not that you are the only one that began turning toward bloodlust and abandoning the idea of this training, but look around you-- your allies are almost all down for the count. Cuki was beaten down into merely a husk powered by force of will alone until she bested a volatile person whose sense of self had been threatened. Raune has failed, for he is merely the bare minimum of a vessel now. Don't take this as an act of kindness or protection. I simply know this is as far as we need to go today. To put anyone through a second phase at a near-death state like this is meaningless; I will only watch them fall."

"And that simply is meaningless, for I know the chances of success by putting them through it are zero now. But if you want to continue this, I'll have no choice but to force you to surrender-- and I really don't wish to do that."
