"Cut off?! Twice?! What a nightmare! I can't even begin to think about what would happen if I lost my tail... I'd lose my mind, honestly." Cuki gripped her tail a little harder before returning back to the answers Vegetto gave her. "A monkey on the full moon?" Cuki tilted her head and looked at her tail which laid limp in her hand. "Why does it bring dread when I think about it? Eh, must be my nerves. As for a race of warriors, I think barbarian is a better term. You and Spina fight so, errm... wildly, it's pretty cool, actually."

Cuki smiled to Vegetto before scratching her head.

"Master used to tell me that fighting is bad but I can't help it sometimes. I just like a good fight! I... I don't know why, I just can't control it sometimes." She stared at her tail blankly then looked back up to Vegetto. "Well, if we evolved then that means that there are more of the Saiyans out there, right? Hey, what about that hologram you had in your room of that girl? I bet you were trying to contact more Saiyans, right?"

Vegetto's eyes remained narrowed through most of Cuki's reply, nearly shrugging his shoulders.

At least there's no doubt she's a Saiyan now....

His eyebrows perked at the mention of the hologram, the color leaving his face for a moment and frowning.

"Oh...no I wasn't. None of my equipment is working...and I can't sense their energies at all."

He let out a curt sigh, his dual voice falling flat.

"I just miss my wife is all."

Spina went to the room and sat on the bed, looking down on the floor. "Hmph. Guess I'll stick around for a while until this Doctor Doom thing is done and over with..." He said. "So those two are Saiyans, but don't seem to be one from my world from the looks of it. Could be interesting, but the major problem is that voice... I'm sure that there's more to him than just a guide." Spina rubbed his chin before laying his head on the pillow.

------------

"Ohohoho! I'm sure that this *wife* of yours misses you very much. Heck, I bet all of them are probably freaking out right now!" the voice said, chuckling. "I wonder if worlds that you all came from are able to handle your disappearance? Would it get worse? Or maybe it will actually improve because that universe removed an error?" the voice wondered.

"Aww.. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring up memories..." Cuki frowned, almost hiding behind her face behind her knees. She looked at Vegetto with childish eyes. "If it makes you feel any better, I got some chocolate ice cream in the freezer if you want it."

Cuki didn't know what to say about the situation but she tried her best to offer her way to cheer up Vegetto.

"Well I'm sure she misses you too, Cactus-Head. You've only been here for a little while so I'm sure you'll be back soon. I've been stuck here for weeks and the only thing I manage to remember is my name." Her voice lowered slightly. "I don't even remember the face of my master..."

"Who cares? I hold no attachments to any world I'd be able to voyage though. Especially not if they're boring." Bernkastel deadpanned. "After a thousand years of wandering between boundaries, you lose attachment to a lot of things." She stared up at the ceiling blankly out of boredom.

Vegetto sighed lightly, glancing to the side.

"She probably doesn't even know I'm gone. She..well...she had some important business to attend to and returns home tomorrow. I had hoped I would make it out of here so I could see her in the morning...but that obviously isn't going to happen."

His expression softened, mostly tuning out the others and focusing on Cuki, his right eyebrow raising.

"Do you remember what he was like?"

Cuki didn't say anything for a while, thinking long and hard about the question Vegetto asked her. It was clear by the look on her face that she struggled greatly to even remember the slightest thing about her master. She hugged her knees tighter and closed her eyes tightly. After an awkward silence, all that was heard was Cuki's sigh of easing her body.

"I can't remember a thing other than the fact that Master has two really big ears with something shiny hanging off one of them. Also, for some reason... I keep thinking of the color blue when I try to think of him, a deep and calming blue..." Cuki pinched her nose, trying to see if she remembered anything else. "He's super strong and very peaceful! I'm sure he trained me in something but I forgot mostly everything when I arrived here. That's about all I can recall of him."

Her eyes shifted to Vegetto, almost as if it pained her to remember.

"I doubt he's in this weird world but I sure miss him... I just don't think I can return home if I don't even remember the face of the one who helped me. How would I even know?"

"Ohohoho!" the voice burst out in laughter hearing the responses from some of them. "Don't look so blue! I'm sure that even if your memory isn't the best, it wouldn't matter! Chances are, the moment you vanished from your reality, they already forgot about you! So you don't have to feel bad! It works out in the end."

The voice's tone shifted to rather a bit dark the moment Chronos brought up the tower. "Well, you seem to be rather knowledgeable about the tower. How are you so sure that everyone is a copy, Mr. Chronos?"
