Negative let out a chuckle when Lix taunted him. His eyes were following Lix’s movements—each time the monster would get close, his barrier would immediately around him and blocked the attack.

“If you want humor, it would be preferable if you do more than zipping around in some wired motion.” Negative responded as he lifted his hand. “Here, let’s add some flavor into your movements. I’m sure it would deliver the punchline.”

A spark of black energy formed above Negative—and shaped into an arm. From there, it splits into several and launched towards Lix in the attempt to grab him and toss him around the room.

Black Shadow was sweating on the notion that Negative was more than she anticipated him to be. She thought he was strong, but not to this extent. Perhaps it was the influence of chaotic energy raining down his soul?

“Lix is moving so fast… yet Negative doesn’t seem to be phased at all…” Black Shadow said. “But we have to do something.” Black Shadow lifted her Scepter.

Silence, despite being in a stance, has yet to move.

"No, do not attempt to help Lix." Faunix said coldly. "I know it sounds harsh but trust me when I say that Lix is distracting Master Shine long enough for us to plot an escape."

Faunix bit his lip and knew that if they didn't leave soon, Lix would most likely end up killing everyone or end up dead.

"Lix is no match for this power, not even at his best... He'll die if we don't flee from this place. We must inform Master Z."

Lix took the blow head on and the flesh covering his mouth started to rip apart from how hard he screamed. He still didn't give up and his muscles continued to contort and pulse the more he was attacked. His claws got larger and he kept on getting faster. His snake-like body started to form two bumps on the top and his beady eyes started to retreat. His screaming was soon replaced by laughter.

"Is that all Negative?!" Lix roared. "Again! Again! AGAIN!"

Lix rushed at Shine at an even faster speed than before, his claws aiming right at Shine, however, they left huge claw marks on the walls behind Shine, showing that he had already slashed at him. He awaited to see the extent of his damage.

Negative noticed the slashed marks on his shoulders.

"Ah, you seems to finally broke through that pathetically weak barrier. Even managed to slash me..." Negative seems impressed, but his eyes narrowed and proceeded to laugh. Both of his hands were in front of his face, as his facial expression went from calm to sinister. He vanishes from thin-air, appearing in front of Lix before grabbing his hand and slammed him towards the wall multiple times.

"Let's see if you can keep up!" Negative shouted before tossing him in the air. Negative took on a stance as his energy affecting the area itself, where everyone was standing on.

"Taste the wrath of the Birth Dragon..." Multiple dark voids formed around Negative.

"Escaped? I don't think that would be possible Faunix." Black Shadow expressed doubts.

"No. Escape is our only option. The monster actually said something useful. We are outmatched in every way; continuing this battle is nothing short of suicide for us." Silence said.

"Shadow you have to find a way to use your magic and teleport us out of here or something." Faunix said with a quiver in his voice. "Please! If you don't, we will all die! I don't know how much longer Lix can hold off Master Shine in this state..."

Faunix grew angry and his teeth started to get bigger, turning into fangs. He wasn't on good terms with Lix but he was still his partner. He turned to Black Shadow and growled.

"Do it now, Black Shadow, I'll hold off Shine for as long as I can!"

Faunix dashed to Negative at a speed far faster than Lix and used his buffed up arm to slam against Negative's face, hopefully distracting him from Lix for a moment.

Black Shadow nodded at Faunix’s request of transporting themselves out of there—because if things continue, they might meets there end soon. However, when Black Shadow pressed her hands together to activate her teleportation—it did not work.

“What? I can’t telep-“ Black Shadow narrowed her eyes. “Wait, teleportation doesn’t work in here..!”

Negative's face was slammed by Faunix's fist; however, he hasn't even moved an inch.

"Was that supposed to distract me? How foolish." Negative grinned. Heis eyes glowed, pushing Faunix away from him. "Birth Dragon, Eternal Darkness!" Hundreds of balls of dark energy multiple by the hundreds, sending massive balls towards the entirely of the room at all direction. Those hit with the attack was inflicted with mysterious “burns” which reduce their mobility.

"You see...  you are trying your best attempt to escape. Distracting me to ensure your survival... however, I knew all of that.” Negative said. “I was the one who increase the strength of this temple and disable all forms of transportation…” Negative chuckled.

“Escaping is not an option in this case. Want to survive? Defeat me. That’s why you’re here anyways? Perhaps the dog over there have some tricks under his sleeves?”

Lix was hit countless times by the attack and his body laid on the floor, limp. Faunix did his best to avoid getting hit but even he managed to take a couple blows. Faunix stared over at Lix who didn't move from his position and seemed to be enraged about his fallen friend. He glared at Shine and knew that he would have to take up a part in helping out Lix.

"Forgive me Shine... I must put an end to this now!" Faunix yelled.

Faunix's body began to change. His already buffed muscles got even larger and so did his body. He was beginning to transform into a large horned muscular being. His fangs jetted out of his mouth and his fur began to crawl higher on his back. His eyes were blank and he only aimed at distracting Shine. In this state, he is noted to be able to almost keep up with lightning. The room began to shake while he's in this state. It was clear that he was no push over.

In an instant, Negative would feel a hard punch to his stomach but Faunix has yet to move.

Black Shadow gained massive damaged from the attacks Negative launched. Although her personal barrier managed to prevent her from getting knocked out, she was on her knees. She lifted her head, seeing Faunix in his transformed state.

"Whoa..."

Silence continues to remained still in his position.

Negative grabbed onto his stomach as the impact forced him to be slammed towards the wall. Debris fell to the floor as Negative remained there.

"Shine, I do not want to fight you but I will if I must!"

Faunix rushed at Shine again, tossing his body effortlessly in the air. While Shine was in the air, Faunix hit his body several times and always appeared behind him to hit him again. It looked like Faunix was hitting Shine like a ragdoll but to the others watching, it was just an invisible blur of colors and loud booms or noise and air.

Black Shadow tried darting her eyes of the battle—but was unable to keep up with the speed Faunix shown.

"He's doing it!" She praised.

"The monster is dragging this out.” Silence stated. "It isn't doing any damage on him."

"What? Faunix hitting him from all sides. Shine can't keep up!"

"Don't let your eyes deceived you. Shine—or Negative is letting himself getting hit. Have you noticed that aside from Lix slashing him, Negative never once received any damage?” Silence asked.

“Didn’t he cried out in pain?” Black Shadow responded.

“Was it pain? Or it was nothing more than a ruse?” Silence pointed out.

Negative crashed through the floor—it appeared that he isn’t moving.

Faunix stood next to Lix and glared down at Negative. He barely looked to have broken a sweat but he knew that Negative was more than just your average foe. He instantly glared back at Black Shadow and Silence. His voice was dark and he hissed.

"Get out of here! Go and inform Master Z!" Faunix stood proudly defending Lix. "Go!"

Faunix braced for whatever may come his way when Negative starts to move again.
