"Hmm.. well, Excalik is a swordsman and you can use a sword too. So it would be best for you and Arlen to team up." Vala states. "If we balance powers it should be more efficient to clear the place out."

Excalik nodded. "Alright. Let's get the bottom of this strange occurrence. This place is giving me the creeps." He looked around. "The aura is much different than my household, feels like I can hear the tears of souls that never able to leave this place."

Gold ventured inside the manor, holding his hammer close and searching for any enemies.

"I can give you all the time you need to recharge. I am a Paladin. It is my duty to protect."

"Why thank you, sir Gold~ You are far more respectful than some I've met coming here~" Z said calmly while fixing the giant mask over her face. She wiggled her mitten-like hands in the air as they entered the manor. Her voice wasn't all that loud but the empty manor made it echo more than it usually did.

"Ooga Booga, where the monsters at~?"

Gold chuckled a bit at Z.

"You are a good contrast to my stoic personality. Not many can make hardened warriors laugh. But, it is conceding about the lack of threats."

"I believe you are not so stoic, Sir Gold~" Z-Clone said while tapping the top of his head childishly. "You have emotions but you choose to keep them tame~ I cannot make a new face other than the one I have~" Z-Clone giggled. "But it's impossible to tell what I am feeling~"

(Since this is a Boogaverse thread, bunnymodding is not a thing, so if your 'partner' doesn't respond in as timely a manner as you patiently waited for, feel free to move on as if they were with you or regroup with another pair since everyone is doing the same thing for now. You can choose where you're clearing at any rate, so long as it isn't the top floor until I give a signal to one of you. ;D )

"It only feels like we're being watched." Vala said as she and Excalik proceeded down the corridor, which appeared to be headed for the part of the manor were the kitchen and dining room would be. "Keep an eye out."

"Perhaps we can find something to dispel in the basement." Gold said moving to the way down.

"This reminds me of the undead plauge far too much."

"Noted." Excalik said, as he continue to walk. He;d enter the the dining room, he was in awe of how "organized" everything was. "It's like walking in the wealthy's man home.. never got to see it back from my home town. The only thing that's clean around there was the animals! Not that I don't bathe or anything..!"

"The basement has nothing but cobwebs which I may get tangled in~" Z-Clone said with an embarrassed tone. "But I will assist in aiding you vanquish monsters from this place~ I can use my magic to create weapons you may need, non~? But if I use too much, I will disappear and you will fight alone~ I am a clone, after all~"

"No no, I can take care of myself." Gold said picking up a knick knack and putting it down.

"So long as I don't hear Ner Zhul's minions we should be good."
