Beach City
Despite Mooli attempting to shield him away from seeing Whis’ charred remains, Daiman had already witnessed the destruction. The fear had settled, rendering him paralyzed to move on his own nor speak freely.
Struggling to speak, Daiman’s eyes narrowed upon seeing the illusion that appeared behind the Red Witch. While he didn’t understand entirely the stranger’s words, he couldn’t help but remember something awful. He felt a sharp pain from his chest, clenching it tightly as his panic attack had begun. The feeling of being powerless, others risking their life to save him and the situation went from bad to absolutely worse. He knows that feeling all too well.
In the moment of being caught up in that strange illusion he saw, Daiman fell on his butt after Mooli and Vegetto shove him out of the way of the monster. He didn’t want to run—he turned to the others like Avalon to see if they could come up with something. But it was not enough—the effects of Spina’s Dark Energy were too damning for them to do anything but fight in a futile manner or die.
Daiman stare at Spina—he was the only one who’s capable of actually doing anything. As best he could, the young man shouted at the old Saiyan. “Spina! You have to help them! If you don’t, we’re all going to die!” He hopes that his words reached Spina’s ears and kicked some sense into him.
In the chaos unfolding around him, Daiman’s words reached Spina. The old Saiyan turned to Daiman, lifting the young man’s hopes that he would do something to fight them off or even help them escape. But none of that happened. Instead, Spina ignored him and sped off to Sinister Bernkastel and Vegetto Black instead, leaving them to fend for themselves. “S-Spina!?”
Rather than wasting time fighting the monster version of Lambdadelta nor entertained understanding the words from that strange shadow figure, Spina took advantage that they weren’t in total sync with one another. “Livestock!” He shouted at her, as a trail of blue light slip from his fingertips—soon turned pitch black. In his heart, the matter of strength little to him—what matters of is the meaning. What is this meaning…. Or why its triggered him to act out this way… not even Spina knows for himself. What he does know is that his first impression of Sinister Bernkastel, he sees her as disingenuous based on her reaction of Whis’ destruction. “Stop pretending to have any sort of feelings!”
Before he could go any further, the old Saiyan’s eyes widened upon seeing Sinister Bernkastel being struck by the car. He stopped in his tracks as the vehicle circled around him. “What the hell…?” He wondered if this was another trick by the duo but suddenly felt a strong pull from it. “Huh?!” Spina attempted to fight against the pull, but it was too powerful. “Argh!” He was soon sucked in right away, along with the others piling on top of him. The dark energy from Spina vanished as the car drove away.
Unknown Lab
Upon arrival at the lab, the others were still in the car, pushing the old Saiyan against the window. He was agitated, not because he was interrupted in battle. No, it was worse than that. Spina hated the idea of being cuddled up in extremely small spaces. Felt like he couldn’t breathe, he flings around a bit until he got a good position for his legs. “GET OFF!” He shouted, pushing everyone out of the car using his legs. He jumped out of the car and took a second to catch his breath.
“Oof!” Daiman landed on his butt; but Coella, Bernkastel and Zenta landed on top of him. “Ouch… huh?” They were in a strange laboratory, but it was quite mess with snacks and cigs everywhere. He covered his nose since it was a foul smell to him as he struggled to wiggle his way out of the pile on top of him. At least he felt that his powers were back. “Where the heck are we…?” He asked. He was taken aback by Victor’s comments about getting high. Bernkastel and Zenta were here, and everyone else as well. At least they managed to get out of that intense situation and they’re safe… for now.
Daiman saw Whis reforming himself from being mincemeat. He obviously approached Mooli and Vegetto since they protected him with concern. “… Are you okay? You don’t look so good…”
As Spina calmed down a bit, he looked around to observe the new area they arrived in. He couldn’t sense the doppelgangers anymore, so they must be far away from Beach City. “What is this…” He spotted the man in the car and went to approached him. Grabbing him by the collar, he lifted the man out of the car and asked a question in an aggressive manner. “Who the hell are you, and why did you drag us here?”
