"A-An earthquake?!" Mari yelped. "Oh man, what a day today..."

Mari instantly fled under her desk as precaution to anything that falls on her head. She seemed more worried than usual but simply because she was usually a worrisome person.

As the earthquake subsides after a few moments, an announcement is heard from the main speaker.

[As all you are well aware, there had been an earthquake. Please, while doing it safetly, go outside away from the buildings onto the football field. We shall detailed of what to do next once all the students are present. Thank You.]

The announcement ended.

"Alright students, let's head outside." The teacher said, making sure the students were escorted off the campus.

Hayate noticed something off about the quake. This feels rather strange. This earthquake feels different. He thought. He reached for his phone and noticed that there some kind of message. However, he could accessed at the moment. Yeah, something feels off. As Hayate headed outside to the football field.

Mackenzie quickly grabbed her phone and backpack to leave with her classmates. Yeah, anywhere in the open would be safer. She tried her phone again, to no avail. It was still dead.  As she passed Mari's desk, she snickered at the shy girl's look, something she does on a daily basis. She then joined the group of girls she hung out with when they were out of the classroom and made their way to the field.

(Since they are the same age I hope you are ok if they go to the same class XD)

Mezzy just walks out, not bothering to check her phone just yet until she's outside. She actually has a flip phone- a flip phone!

(No prob, I imagine they'd have a class together anyways. : D)

Mari rose from under her desk and dusted herself off. She didn't seem to catch the snickering the other girl made. She made sure to pack her belongings and keep her phone tightly in her hand. She followed the rest of the class to the open field.

Prax followed the rest of the class outside putting his hat on his head, not bothering to check his phone and more concerned about not getting the sun in his eyes.

"Is this all the students?" An teacher asked as everyone came to the football field. He wipe his forehead and sigh. "It's one thing after the other..."

"I'm surprised there hasn't been an aftershock of some sort." Another teacher asked. "Today just been really strange."

"Nevertheless, let's make sure the students remained calm and collective."

Hayate looked around, observing all the students from the school. "Wow, I never thought how many students we have in this campus." Hayate thought to himself. His eyes narrowed as he looked up the sky. Although something wasn't there, he'd kept staring at the sky.

One student complained. "Man, so much is happening lately. I wonder if they let us go home..."

Mari finally reached outside and stared at all the students. She tried her best to keep out of everyone's way and not step on any toes. Her timid nature seemed to really get the best of her. Listening to what some of the students whispered around, she took a look at her phone which wasn't working.

"Huh..." Mari said to herself. "Looks more than just an earthquake is going on. Hope it's nothing too serious..."

She thought of her parents for a moment, wondering if they were okay. She glanced at her phone as if wanting to call them, but then anger washed over her when she thought of their lack of attention for her. Yep, they sure will be fine. No need to check on them. They rarely cared to check on her anyway… She wondered if they would even care if it was a more serious scenario.

“Hey Mackie, you alive?”

Mackenzie realized she was troubling herself with angry thoughts again. Her friends were wondering why she wasn’t talking. “Don't tell me you're staring at that guy.” They giggled. She snicketed.

Who? She looked in front of her and noticed someone staring at the sky. Ah hell no.

“Ptts. Please Tallie. I'm definitely not into weirdos. It would've made more sense if I were … say, Mari?”
