Dread Master Bestia then waved her hand to let some restraining chains appear and grab Maki tightly to at least restrain her, ensuring she wouldn't make things worse.

Maki struggled within the grasp of the chains, trying to reach for her sword. However, the a Angelbane was picked up by Oriko, who had just arrived.

"She fell due to the extreme emotions she felt seeing Xenest petrified like that. It reminded her of my own death..." He walked up to the Fallen Angel and started using light energy on Maki, her hair color and armor slowly returning to its original color as time passed. At that moment, Oralie was tossed back through a portal, the young demon \Fallen Angel hybrid being unconscious.

Deramas watched the scene with careful eyes, before turning to Bestia.

"Do you think Lucifer has had a hand in this? Or that the events of our missing friends is linked to it?" He then asked the Dread Master.

"That I do not know. Our friends have been found, that's for sure, but Ruthas' actions extended the time needed for them to recover. I doubt that even Dende or Senzu Beans would be sufficient for it." She said, before turning to the petrified, armless Future Xenest, sighing sadly.

"While your actions ensured the survival of your friends, the wrath which your body had accumulated was too much for your body to contain at the time... the only time I've seen this happening before was during the relentless training to get back at that Evil Dread Saiyan... it shows your wrath is your greatest double-edged sword..." She said, looking him over.

Future Brachi sniffed, but remained silent.

"It is not within my initial tasks to interfere with the course of life and all, given my own situation, but there are times where I'm making an exception..." Dread Master Bestia said, before focusing her power by performing a set of hand-signs, before she gently tapped Futue Xenest's forehead.

In an instant, Bestia's power went to work as the petrified Future Xenest began to glow, shining brightly until it vanished.

When the group could look again, they could hear Future Xenest gasping again, as he was returned to life and both of his arms had been restored. However, his power level had taken a severe nose-dive, something which Deramas noticed as Future Brachi practically glomped her husband, holding him close as she cried again, this time of joy.

"What exactly did you do to him?" He asked.

"I restored him back to life and also gave him his arms back. But in exchange, he will not be able to tap into his powers that easily for some time." Dread Master Bestia said.

"Care to tell why?" Deramas asked.

"The answer is simple. Future Xenest is a formidable warrior in his own right, but one of his major weaknesses is that he lets himself be guided by his own anger and rage, to the point of threatening to overtax his own body if he taps too deep in them as his wrath is fueled by them. This is the exact reason why his attacks in his Berserker form do more damage to himself than it does to the enemy; simply because all the wrath he has accumulated up to that point is simply too much for his body to handle. It's comparable to how someone with the knowledge of the Kaio-ken can threaten to burn their bodies out due to overtaxing them from overusing the power or pushing themselves too far." Bestia replied.

"I see, so you technically sealed it away then?" Deramas asked.

"Yes and no," Bestia said, "I technically made him unable to tap into his wrath for some time, so he has to find a way through extensive training to let his body contain the amounts of wrath he can accumulate a lot better, so that something like this won't happen again."

"And how do you expect him to do that? He's a mere Human..." Deramas asked.

"Humans generally rely more on cunning rather than brute strength. My intention is to play on his primary drive to grow strong enough to be able to protect his family and friends at all costs, but to also find other ways to achieve this rather than training to such extensive lengths or extremeties to the point of the body breaking under the pressure. He did that before while training to get back at the Evil Vegetto Jr., but he has since then believed that this path is the only one he can use to achieve what he wants. I want to show him that there are multiple paths available. The proverbial all roads leading to Hercule City, if you will." Dread Master Bestia said.

"I see." Deramas said, nodding in respect.

Atama looked at the revived Xenest, frozen in awe. He looked at Dread Master Bestia.

"Thank you." He said revering. Memora looked at the pacified Maki and the unconscious Oralie.

"Despite this victory, Xenest still died, and our allies from the realm of light seem to have been shell shocked, and Atama's exhausted." She said emotionlessly.

"Don't forget the state the others in the Fortress are in..." Bestia said, while Future Xenest comforted his wife, relaxing as he felt the air through his lungs once more, sighing in relief.

"Atama has a point however. I could give you a heart, but it might not be something that would make you feel complete. If I'm not mistaken, you are looking for the one thing that makes you whole. It is something that I cannot and will not interfere with due to the circumstances that involves it. If I would, it may have dire consequences for both you AND your Heartless." Bestia replied.

"So, why did you interfere with Future Xenest by resurrecting him?" Deramas asked.

"Because he has been one of the victims of circumstances and events of which I'm one of the beings responsible for how they turned out to be, in a way that is." Dread Master Bestia asked.

"No, giving her a heart would change nearly nothing in the long run, but restrict her access to the Darkness. None of us here have hearts, yet Memora is the only Nobody? Why? In only her universe do people have metaphysical hearts!" Atama realized in horror.
