DBZ: Anomalous Past for the Future

"It is a shame what must come in the way of love." Atama noted.
"So, what is your fusion technique? I know of only two, because I used both of them."

"The type of fusion which created me is known as 'Anomaly Fusion', it lends its name from the very area of space we're looking for as it, by pure accident, originates there. The cause lies primarily due to an altered flow of ambient energy that is present in the area as the Anomaly has been cut off from the ambient energies of normal space, making it a parallel dimension which still co-exists next to our own. It wasn't my fusees Tempest and Xeno, the two you have seen in the photo, whom invented it however; two of their best friends, a Human/Saiyan hybrid known as Gohan and his Human then-girlfriend Videl were the ones whom initiated this fusion first." Future Xenest said.

Atama chuckled in reply.

"That reminds me of the time one of my parts managed to accidentally teleport into his arch rival, forcing the two to battle for control of their temporarily shared body." He said in a jovial voice. "Would you like to see some parts of a fusion technique one of my parts developed?"

"I see. With the Anomaly Fusion however, the souls of the fusees inhabit the same body in complete, mutual co-existence and from there can also still mentally communicate with each other, although this requires focus. And I'm interested to see it." Future Xenest said.

Atama nodded, walking off to a distance from anyone around him.

"This technique, I have come to call it, Chaos Unification. Named for how it violently fuses two people together." He said. Atama then started to output an incredible amount of darkness around him, the energy so thick it was impossible to see him with normal eyes.

"The first step is to build up an incredible amount of inherently destructive energy around you. The more energy and the more destructive it is, the better." Atama said. The man then teleported to right where he was standing, the energy adsorbed back into himself, completely normal.

"The second step for the two people using the technique to teleport to the exact same spot. This is the most dangerous step. I'll explain why in a minute. But for this step, it's generally best to be at your highest transformation. Then you are done. If you did it right, you will have successfully fused." Atama said before changing his tone to that of warning.

"But, there are several dangers involved in the technique. The first is the time and the preparation. It requires two people capable of doing this flawlessly, otherwise the power gained might not be enough to defeat an opponent. The two users' bodies are broken up thanks to the energy and teleportation if they did it right, possibly leading to losing a limb if you fail teleport and leave a part of you behind. Secondly, the energy itself is a double edged sword. It has to be destructive enough to break up the bodies of the users, thus potentially destroying them, meaning an energy has to be used in an amount that won't kill the both of them. However, it only grants the bodies strengthened by the energy used, meaning using to little would lead to only a modest power increase. Thirdly, the two users have to be in perfect sync mentally. Because of the fact the two users' minds are deposited inside the new body, so much a single thought could cause a mistake in battle, which could cause death. This is why I have never used the technique more then once in a previous life, or ever taught it to someone. Now, it is possible that someone could alter the technique to remove some of these dangers, or your methods of teleportation and energy don't involve breaking up the bodies of the user. Any questions?"

"I do have a question. Why is it best to be at the highest transformation with your kind of fusion? Won't that be adding too much pressure on you and your fusee in question?" Future Xenest asked.

"So long as the form doesn't weaken your durability, then you can use even more energy in the transformation. Then you should be able to power down post fusion, in theory." Atama replied, walking back to Future Xenest.

"I understand now." Future Xenest said, nodding, "Anything in particular you would like to know more about the Anomaly Fusion?"

"Actually, there are at least four ways in which the Anomaly Fusion can be terminated:

1. The fusees terminate the fusion at will by isolating and separating their respective energies from the fused character. This is possible as the souls of the fusees in question inhabit the fused character's body in a state of mutual co-existence, allowing them to maintain control over their respective energies. In a way, the fused character technically performs Fission on itself through this.
2. The fused character runs out of ki energy needed to maintain the fusion, which is usually prominent of maintaining/(over)using attacks which consume a good amount of energy respectively, or the fused character is drained off their energy using an Energy Absorption-styled technique.
3. The fused character is too injured to maintain the fusion. This is observed through the battle damage that the character suffers in prolonged combat, leaving the fusees in question injured.
4. The fused character is hit by a Fission-style technique, a technique which is meant to separate two beings from a single entity, by a third party.
After the Anomaly Fusion is terminated, it requires a cooldown period of at least one hour before it can be used again." Future Xenest replied.
