What is your Village/Town/City/State/Province known for?

Missouri is known as the "show me" state and has the Arch structure in the capital, St.Louis

"Hamburger Schmuddelwetter"

It means that we have a lot of rain combined with stiff breezes where I live.

Also, the winters aren't really cold (almost no snow T_T) and the summers aren't really hot thanks to the maritime climate.

Michigan is known for it's colorful leaves on the trees when the fall season arrives.

My city is also known for being very "green", meaning that we have a lot of parks, small woods and nature reserves.

California is known for attracting many talents within the art industry -- whereas acting, drawing or the sort. Hollywood is infamous for lots of attraction :p

Well, I'm a Jersey Guy so....apart from being known for allegedly being terrible (which I never quite understood) Jersey is probably known mostly for our giant tomatoes, the mafia (which hasn't actually had much real power here in decades), Jersey Shore (which is only a small part of the state), the myth of the Jersey devil and a zillion other urban legends and pollution...which unfortunately is actually rather bad here lol.

Lubbock Texas

The city with the highest STD rate in all of the United States.

I feel super safe as a virgin.

Mineola Texas. Our highschool football team just won the state championship for the first time in history.

Well, Florida had that famous case of the 'Bath salt zombies"

My city, Highland, is known for being an evolution from an agrarian society to a city surrounded by a large urban area, fast becoming, amidst a blend of the old and the new, the successful City of Highland in the eastern San Bernardino Valley.
