Vegetto's stern expression lightened for a moment, his gloved hand reaching up and lightly touching the small bandage.

"Cuddling! Just relax, it'll help you feel better!"

His narrowed eyes turned to Spina, leaving the bandage alone once he heard the Saiyan speak. His narrowed eyes followed Spina for only a moment, soon turning up the hallway as he casually strode towards the adjacent hallway.

"I'm going to sleep for awhile."

He barely waited for a reply, soon turning into the nearest room and promptly shutting the door behind him.

"Well, hopefully Cactus-Head calms down a bit." Cuki looked over to Spina and let out a small sigh. "Kettles poured wine over her head but don't worry, you should be fine in a little bit. You and Cactus-Head had a super crazy fight but he agreed to follow the rules of my house."

Cuki stood up and moved to her kitchen, grabbing a small towel and wetting it so she can put on Spina's head.

"Don't worry so much about the questions, just worry about getting better and telling us what you know so far."

"Ah. I figure as much." Spina's eyes darted towards Bernkastel, a sense of fear erupted for a brief moment before turning back to Cuki. "And... is that thing in here?" Spina is referring to the voice.

"You mean that voice thing?" Cuki looked around and remembered that the voice spoke a while ago. "Yeah, that voice thing is here but he's been kinda quiet lately. Don't worry so much about the voice and worry about fixing yourself up."

While she spoke to Spina, she continued her work on the Sage until she was finally finished with patching him up and stopped his bleeding. She lifted the man up and dragged him to one of the rooms and lay him gently on the bed. She kept his door open in case she heard him in distress. Returning to Spina, she put away her tool and other basic medical utensils back in the kit and under the sofa.

"In the meanwhile, you should rest a bit before Kettles and Cactus-Head begin their questions or something."

Spina started to sweat a bit. "Yeah, figures. It just probably waiting for me to spill the beans already." He turns to Cuki, seemingly raised a brow.

"It'll take more than a simple beating to take me out. Besides, I was clearly not ready for the battle at the moment, especially since you double-team me with that hammer. And now you're here, nursing me back to health? What a weird Saiyan you are..." Spina said. "Anyways, this injury is nothing to worry about. I'm taking my leave, thanks, shorty."

Spina tried to stand up; however, he felt a sharp pain on the side and instantly sat down. "Damn.. that mask guy really did a number on me..."

"Trying to run away eh...?" the voice said. "Sorry, but you no longer have that option now, ohohohoho."

A blue arc of electricity ran across the ceiling from where the Sage was laying, but that's the only thing of note from him. Unable to rouse himself to consciousness.

"Oh boy..." Cuki stared at the blue lightning but decided it was best not to mess with it. "Hope that Sage is doing okay."

As Spina talked, Cuki was busy getting some extra blankets for her guests knowing they might have to stay here an extra night. The least she could do was be nice and show her hospitality. She came back with several blankets of all types and colors and placed them on the sofa next to Spina. When he spoke again about the Saiyans, it only confused her.

"Look, I don't know anything about these Say-Yams but I doubt they're as heartless and barbaric as you make them to be." Cuki said while placing a blanket over Spina's shoulders. "You can't leave with those wounds so let them heal first. Besides, you can explain everything over a nice cup of tea, it'll heal you faster."

Cuki smiled to Spina and strolled over to Vegetto's room and knocked on the door and didn't wait for a response before she opened it. She seemed a little more at ease from earlier and entered the room, holding a blue blanket.

"I'm gonna be making some tea to hopefully heal and ease everyone up. You should join if you wanna hear what Spina has to say since he's awake now." Cuki folded the blanket and gently placed it on Vegetto's bed. "But remember, behave yourself." Giving the man no time to reply, she left the room, closing the door with her tail.

She then went to the Sage's room and placed a red blanket on top of him and adjust his pillow to make sure he was comfortable. With no signs of the Sage waking up, she moved to the kitchen and began to look for her special herbs for tea.

"Anyways, go pick out a blanket for yourself Kettles while Spina tells us about that Mask dude thingy."

Vegetto's eyes went wide, visibly tensing heavily once the door swung open. His arms remained frozen in front of him, still fully clothed and sitting on the edge of the bed with a slight lean forward.

A few feet in front of him in front of the wall, however, was a glowing blue replica of a woman. The body was composed of only refined lines of pure energy, completely see-through but accentuated the familiar features well in her wide smile, the flow of her right side mullet, and half open eyes.

He blinked hard like a deer in headlights, watching Cuki casually lay down the blanket and exit without mention of his project, sitting completely frozen for a few moments before finally letting out a small sigh of relief.

"...well...at least she didn't notice."

His eyes narrowed a bit, a frown returning as he stared back up at the replica.

I know you're still out there...you'll return from the meeting with the gods tomorrow. And the days we've been apart will sting even more, now that I know I won't be there to greet you in the morning.

Vegetto dropped his head slightly, sighing.

But I will find a way out of here, and maybe not on my own. I've met a couple of people here...even if they're not as...well...patient with me as you have always been. I know you'd probably even like some of them...couple of Saiyans too that show promise. Potentially great additions to the Patrol...but they'd have to be interested and I'm certain they wouldn't be with how I've been acting. I wonder if you'd disapprove, as I know you've always hated how...disconnected I am with others' empathetic needs.

He lifted his head slightly, his frown receding.

I'll do better...but I'd like to think you'd also understand because I care more about seeing you then helping them.

Vegetto shook his head slightly, stifling a small chuckle.

It'll surely be a story to tell, once this is all over.

Bernkastel didn't feel particularly cold, so she merely stared at Cuki and watched her move about the room. Then again, she didn't feel much of anything. Still floating, she moved over to one corner of the room and picked up a couple of throw pillows before dropping them down on the floor and sitting herself down. "...Yes, go on." Bernkastel's eyes seemingly bored into Spina's.

Spina raised a brow about Cuki's denial or possible ignorance about her background. "What, you hit your head as a kid or something?" Spina paused for a moment. "Because that seems to be the only way for you to act like you have no idea what you are..."

His body tenses when Bernkastel sat down and questioned him. "R-right," He can feel her eyes burning into his skin. "Might as well get this over with. Yes, I had tools that you were speaking of, but as you all are well aware, it was taken from me. That person is no slouch. He's a worthy opponent I may say."

"Oh? And who may that be?" the voice said.

"You don't know? Aren't you supposed to be all-knowing? Or at least, all-hearing?" Spina said.

"Without these tools, my abilities is severely lacking... though I would advise watching the tone when you speak to me~"
