This is a new start of my art journey. I wanted to start anew after some self-reflection I want to do. I’m not getting any younger, and I don’t want to spend the days just wasting away daydreaming. Furthermore, I want to practice and bring these ideas to life. This thread is a step I considered motivating myself and trigger my vigor to draw more ideas and concepts.

As of now, I do not do any commissions. Perhaps later in the future, I will, but for now, I want to solely focus on improving my drawing and writing abilities. Aside from Bluesky, this is the only place I will post my content. With that said and done, please enjoy all the content I will post! I want to work super hard to truly capture the drawing abilities I’ve dreamt about. Don’t know how long it will take… but I will get there!

This is a rough draft; I’ll post the finished version tomorrow.

Spina is among one of the first characters I’ve put tons of work on. Started off as an “Black” Goku concept (essentially, Son Goku but black), he went through several transformations in terms of design and character. Most of the time I’ve used him, I always portrayed him as a lot older to showcase his battle scars throughout his life.

Here is one of the first instance of Spina in his younger days. He’s still boorish as level, but he’s more “respectful”. By respectful, I meant that he’s not actively insulting everything in his path.

I grown extremely fond of Spina and eventually included him as one of the protagonists of a story I’m working on: Good Days. He was a wandering mercenary taking on odd jobs to live to the next day. And he’s emotionally stunt—he doesn’t react or feel things as “normal” people would do in a high-tension situation. One concept for the story is that he’s a product of a Destroyer Fruit—a being that was born purely of Destroyer Energy (more on that later in future drawings). For those in Reality Vortex roleplay—in other words, Spina is a Yowl (will use the name to described people born from Destroyers… more on that later in a future drawing). It was a major plot point I was aiming for in that roleplay.

He doesn’t understand love or relationships because of his disconnect with people. So, he comes off as either ignorant or rude (or both at the same time, take your pick). However, there is one person that he greatly respects throughout the story of Good Days. She will be popping up soon.

Gave him freckles because I thought “He seems like a guy that has freckles”.

This is the rough draft! Still cooking with her design. Valeria is an odd character because she doesn't fall in the line of good nor evil. Everything she does is for the sole purposes of science--even if it leaves behind a trail of horrors to achieved that goal. No one has ever seen her true appearance--she always taken the appearance of someone else. Whether it's from a legend, or pretending to be related to someone to mess with people's heads, she rarely shows up in her actual appearance.

She converted her entire body into a biological weapon--for the sole purposes of analyzing data. Even in battle, her eyes on her shoulders and chest are constantly monitoring her surroundings so she won't miss a thing. No one knows her true goal--she often sprouts nonsense because its fun to keep people on their toes!

Tomorrow is OCMAS! For those unaware, it is a yearly thing I made to draw OCs every day in the month of December. Normally, I would put it in its own thread, for this year, I'll just post it in my own thread instead since I'm the only one doing it 😂! Without further ado, here is Day 1 (although it is a bit early!).

DAY 1 OF OCMAS: THUNYA

Thunya is a member of the Starlight Empire; an intergalactic empire that aims to conquer the galaxy. One of the seven generals, Thunya is a kind woman who possessed the ability to create life. Using seeds that grow in her hair, she can grow creatures that aid her in battle. However, this does not mean she herself is weak, she’s incredibly strong but doesn’t like to get her hands dirty. She’s passionate about her children and will explode in anger if they were critically injured or killed. She’s extremely loyal to Starlight, the Queen of the Stars. Only Arina’s loyalty surpasses her, which prompts a rivalry between the two.

Her original name was Growth with a completely different design and story (she was behind the creations of Yowls… more on that later!). However, I decided to rework her to be part of the Starlight Empire instead and give her an actual name. People in the empire will reference her as “Growth” due to constantly monitoring the seed creatures she creates.

DAY TWO OF OCMAS: GALAXIA AND NEBULA

One of the seven generals (both of them share the same rank), Galaxia and Nebula are known for their extreme teamwork and synchronize fighting style. Galaxia, the brains of the duo, is known for her posh personality. She always want to ensure that everything is perfect before going into battle. She cannot defeat her enemies if she looks like a mess! Nebula is the muscle of the group, and always go along with Galaxia's shenanigans and rarely speaks. However, if you hurt Galaxia, she will give you a world of hurt! Not only they were the absolute best teammates (their words...), they express undying love for one another. Of course, their love is nothing compared to their loyalty to Starlight, the Queen of the Stars!

DAY THREE OF OCMAS: NAJM

Najm lived on a war-torn planet facing extinction from invaders. The last survivors became androids in a desperate bid to survive. Although Najm lost her emotions, she resisted the conflict but was compelled by the program to fight anyway. However, when the Starlight Empire arrived and eliminated the invaders, the people, especially Najm, rejoiced. Najm was picked as the planet’s strongest warrior to join the empire and save other planets from facing similar fates. She can increase her arms several times, capable of knocking away entire cities with a swing. Her dedication and power earned her the spot of one of the seven generals in the Starlight Empire.

DAY FOUR OF OCMAS: VIEGAN

A Star-Plant is a species born from Stars planting their seeds into the flowers on an ancient planet called Argus. They are an exceptional race, capable of obtaining Celestial Ki with minimal requirements. Viegan is a special case, along with his siblings Suyoi, Jinaira and Todasúl, due to being related to an ancient star.

Viegan craves power and to achieve that, he must consume everything. The more he eats, the stronger he becomes, and the closer to godhood is within his grasp. He views mortal life as nothing more than feast for his growth. He came to realize that if he feats on his siblings, he’ll achieve incredible power. This led to his brothers and sister escaping the world to avoid being eaten.
