"I'm ready." Maki shook her head, acknowledging that she was ready.

"If it's for my friends... I'm ready to listen!" Oralie spoke up.

"Very well then. I'm here to inform you that the planet Gyges, once home to the largest mass of organic creatures ever, has been destroyed by a massive power surge which occured after the destruction of a brain-shaped vessel. The Tenochi-01 survived the onslaught of explosions due to remaining in orbit and avoid most of the devastation as possible, but nonetheless suffered severe damage as you have seen for yourself. But the biggest thing is that no less than 23 of our dearest comrades, being Brachi, her family and her friends, all vanished without a trace as the planet detonated. We have found no current physical or energy trace of them around, so we believe them to be in any case missing... and possibly be even killed in the ensuing chaos." Xenest said.

Atama's face became confused.

"So what could have possibly happened is that they are alive, displaced, somewhere. It's not uncommon for warriors of my world to be displaced due to large energies being exercised." He said in deep thought.

"The whole mess started yet again by remnants of the notorious and once-feared Planet Trade Organization. You may also know the Organization under an alternate name, being the Galactic Frieza Army, but that doesn't really apply here as due to events which happened over time, the Organization has had to deal with their own rebels from other divisions, split-off groups or forces who, after the news of Frieza's death reached them, gained the courage to defect from the Organization as a whole and are fighting to liberate their own home planet, provided their planet still exists, as Frieza has had the tendency to destroy planets when it had no use for him." Future Xenest continued.

"So a battle between the Planet Trade Organization and you guys was what led to the destruction of Gyges?" Maki asked Future Xenest.

"In a way, yes. The Planet Traders have always been notorious for being hard-headed, and some even have been working for a more powerful Arcrosian known as Siber. We feared that they were once again attempting to bring the organization back together as we were investigating skirmishes on several planets, where they attacked us first." Future Xenest said.

"I see. So do you think that the PTT somehow managed to capture the others following the planet's detonation?" Maki asked Future Xenest as she rubbed her chin.

"I sincerely doubt it," Future Xenest said, "while the theory is something to take into consideration, the Planet Trade Soldiers whom were on Gyges at the time were also killed in the ensuing chaos and destruction of the planet. Our only hope is to see if Earth's Dragon Balls can be of some help, otherwise we have to revisit the planets which we saved from the Planet Trade Organization's attacks to see if we can find any clues as to what has really happened to them and if they still can be rescued."

"I have just received a message from the Martian Heavy Battle Cruiser assigned to retrieve us," A Martian said, "he said that they will arrive at our position within the next five minutes and are willing to tow us all the way back to Earth, at least until the ship repairs have reached major progress and the ship is stable enough to travel at warp speed. We do not know how long that will take however, it is dependent on how fast the repairs can be completed."

"Understood. Keeping the ship together is our main priority now, especially due to my wife being out of commission for the time being." Future Xenest replied.

"Both the Heavy Battle Cruisers and its escorts report that they have some additional materials with them on board to replace those parts which have been irrepairably damaged. They confirm that this vessel is salvagable, but it has to be repaired fairly soon." The Martian replied.

"Good. Do what you must to ensure the repairs proceed smoothly." Future Xenest said.

"Proceeding." The Martian replied, moving on.

Atama looked up when the mention of ships was apparent.

"It occurs to me the last time a space ship was important in my life was when an insane man took control of a weapon my mentors had developed. I of course disposed of him and rendered the weapon unusable."

Atama scratched his chin and looked down.

"Let's see, me and Luna were dating at the time, Shadow was less of an emo... Oh right, planet destroying proto-type of a space system. Ran off the same energy crystals I used at the time to fuel my powers. Worked as a kind of orbital strike system. Powered up the laser and boom, there goes whatever you were aiming at."

Future Xenest nodded at this.

"I see." He said.

Just then, there were about five soft 'boom' like sounds which came from outside.

"Xenest, the Heavy Battle Cruiser and its escorts have arrived and are approaching our position." A Martian then said.

"Good. Make sure they can find us and hail them when you can." Future Xenest said.

"Message understood." The Martian replied.

Future Xenest then turned to the three guests.

"I suggest you prepare your vessels or whatever other methods you have of interstellar flight; we're departing for Earth fairly soon." He said to Maki, Oralie and Atama.

"Alright then. I guess we'll be seeing you all later then.." Maki placed her hand on Oralie's shoulder and signaled for the teleporter to teleport them to their ship. Oralie waved goodbye before the two teleported back to the ship, preparing to follow the group.

"Very well, let me take you to the guest quarters..." Future Xenest said, just as the escort group met up with the ship and went to beam some additional personnel over to aid the remaining crew with the repairs while the Heavy Battle Cruiser used its tractor beam to tow the Tenochi-01 away from the remains of Gyges, proceeding on a direct course towards Earth, its four escort vessels taking up defensive position on the Tenochi's flanks and rear, just in case.

Future Xenest then led Atama to the guest quarters, while the ship shook a little from being caught in the friendly tractor beam, just as the Strike group went on its way on a direct course for Earth.

"Hopefully Shenron will have some answers; it's been some time we've used the Dragon Balls of this timeline..." He commented.

Maki's ship followed behind the ships, Maki herself keeping an eye on her radar for any unidentified objects that might be a threat.

"So.. Where do you think our new friends are..?" Oralie questioned her mother, who looked back at her.

"I don't know, but I don't like this a single bit.." Maki responded.

The Captain of the Martian Heavy Battle Cruiser turned towards its nearby Science Officer.

"Any news on our other allies?" It asked.

"Other than bad news, no. Scans indicate that the entire group was caught in the ongoing chaos caused by the chain-reaction of explosions which obliterated Gyges. They have tried to find a way to escape, but only Future Xenest and Future Brachi made it to the Tenochi-01 as the planet was destroyed, the others were just a split second too late." The Science Officer said.

"I see." The Captain replied.

"It is puzzling me that we haven't found any traces of them left..." Another Martian said.

"That is because they could have very likely been completely vaporized when the planet detonated. Remember that our bipedal allies and most of their enemies are capable of unleashing energy attacks powerful enough to remove a physical body from this plane of existence, sending them to the next dimension, be it what they refer to as 'Heaven', 'Hell' or 'Other World', depending on how benevolent or hostile their actions have been." The Captain responded.

"I understand." The Martian responded.

"Shenron? I don't believe I know who this, man, I assume, is?" Atama replied to Future Xenest.
