Anime/Manga You're Watching/Reading?

Currently reading Chainsaw Man after Fire Punch. Man. I'm still pissed about Power.

Going to tackle Houseki no Kuni!

Currently reading Tomie by Junji Ito, Levius by Naruhisa Nakata, and Parasite in Love (forget the authors' names)

Finished Kimi ni Koisuru Satsujinki yesterday. Ended in the lamest way imaginable but there's suspicions it got canned last-minute. Don't waste your time w/ it, I read it because the art was pretty and I got curious seeing caps of it on tumblr. It was an entertaining trainwreck I'll admit, I was just pissed off that the final chapter had next to no real payoff in terms of catharsis.

In terms of life-ruining trainwreck slice of life stories, I much much prefer No Longer Human by Junji Ito and the modernized adaptation made by Usamaru Furuya.

Started reading Kaiju Girl Caramelise. Don't know how I got here, but it's enjoyable so far!

Reading: Black Cat.
Watched: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Swordsmith Village

Currently reading Jūjika no Rokunin. I will say this with absolutely 100% confidence that it is the worst comic book I've ever read by leaps and bounds. Only reason why I'm even continue reading this is so see if it will finally get axed.

I know I said in my last post not to read Kimi ni Koisuru Satsujinki/Killer in Love by Akiyama Enma but their currently-releasing slice of life manga Noa-senpai is My Senior and My Friend (Noa-senpai wa Tomodachi) is one that I currently keep up with every week as translations come by unofficially via Mangadex, it's a very cozy and comfy read.

It's tagged as a Rom-Com but it's about two coworkers who start out "just being friends". Probably my favorite slice of life in a long while (non-fantasy)

Other ones I'm reading in rotation: Naruto bc I wanted to actually read from scratch and not skip all the way to the Chuunin Exams... I'm a lazy bastard that doesn't want to spend money but I'll probably rent digital volumes at some point because of how trash the scanlations are online. I nearly had an aneurysm reading the Bridge-builder arc on Mangadex. It is peak 2000s online translations, if you know the "Note: Keikaku Means Plan" meme then you understand what I'm getting at.
-Higurashi Reiwa. I'm over it. The first half had an intriguing setup but then the last volume of chapters completely shit the bed
-Battle Royale. Can't believe I never got around to reading this until now, it's been a thrilling read so far!
-Mujina into the Deep. I have a lot of thoughts about this manga and am excited to see how it ends
