Review Rate The Last Movie You Saw

Saw The Amateur. It was a pretty good film and even though there wasn't much action, it was still enjoyable. 7.5/10.

Saw Sinners. Easy 5/5. A lots of favorites in this film, and I'm sure Ryan is a bit pro-CL if you know what I mean LOL. Love the beginning of the film that, despite being a small moment, established so much world building. Are the Choctaw tribes vampire hunters? Absolutely thought it was well done how they were all "Hmm, sunset, a'right we tried, god be with you! good luck!!" and dipped the hell out of there :ROFLMAO:

Saw How To Train Your Dragon the live action version. I enjoyed every aspect of this film and plus it ran almost like the original animated movie. Loved how Hiccup and Toothless became close. Put tears in my eyes. Good visual effects and acting. Give this movie a thumbs up.

Saw KPop Demon Hunters. Easy 5/5.

I haven’t heard a lot of Korean music, especially its pop genre but this film was damn awesome. The main characters, being goofy trash gremlins, are the highlights of the film. The animation is absolutely stunning in both serious and funny moments. The visuals that accompanied the song were beautiful, so props to the animation team and storyboarding team of working that together. Despite the fast pacing, I thought the plot was airtight and didn’t feel like it overstayed its welcome in each scene. I was surprised they didn’t go for the romance—they stay fully committed for his death being absolute.

The only complaints I have are relatively minor. Needs more backstory for the other characters like Mira and Zoey, and especially Celine regarding Rumi. And a deeper dive into the demon world as well—but that might as well be a sequel (or a series?).

Fun movie!!

Saw Megan 2.0. 5/5

Some people might be turned off by the tone-shift/genre-shift. Not me. This movie is fucking awesome. Loved the actions. Loved the banter between the characters (Megan carried this movie. Her fucking bursting out a song had me ROLLIN'). LOVED that they double-down on Gemna's shitty parenting. Honestly, I want a Megan 3.0 please.

I loved Megan 2.0 too. As far as her displaying a different attitude, I enjoyed every minute of it. Definitely funny on the singing part though. And Megan in that outfit and short blonde wig was bad-ass to the core. I give this movie a 9.5/10. I'am also ready for another Megan movie. Lol.

From the World of John Wick: Ballerina is a 4/5 for me

Loved it. John Wick plays a small role in this but tbh I wasn't really expecting him to be in it as I watched this 100% blind without even seeing the trailer. The combat choreography is solid and I loved that they changed the camera orientation to keep things fresh. Fairly high on the bloody violence scale and the weapons in rotation were used to make for some really entertaining fight scenes (I miss the Dragon's Breath shotgun from the 4th movie so badly though, that remains in my top weapons in the franchise).
Ana de Armas does not do ballerina moves while slaughtering baddies (I don't think you could tbh) but I love that she is anything but defenseless. The story is serviceable enough to make you interested in Eve's story - someone likened it to the progression of a story-based videogame and I think it's a pretty apt description, but while I was watching it I wasn't really thinking that at all. I don't really remember the John Wick storyline other than the 1st and 4th movies either but the story is just to set up the whole reason I watch these movies. Guns n violence!!!

For me it's a solid solo female lead movie and I'm really hoping it gets a sequel!
