"We're getting definitely food and drinks, including water, as our supplies. Space travel isn't a run-of-the-mill thing after all..." Future Xenest said, nodding as the Martians went to work to gather those supplies.

"How, how do you deal with ghosts of the past? You have weary hearts, and recently mine has been acting up, bringing fresh reminders of a life I was never supposed to have." Atama asked Future Xenest.

"To be fair, it isn't easy to let the past go, but as long as you know who or what you're fighting for, no one will be able to stop you. Granted, even we had moments where despair was threatening to become too much, or where the situation was unbearable, but we held onto our belief that we would be able to reach our goals and that the ones who had caused our suffering will in the end be the ones festering in their graves after being paid back the suffering we went through a thousand-fold." Future Xenest replied.

"I once was at the top of the world. A single night ripped all I had from me. And yet voices of those who are safe and sound still haunt me, asking me why I didint save them." Atama replied, reflecting upon something.

Maki, hearing the conversation between Atama and the group, walked out of her ship, signaling for Oralie to wait, which she did.

"You don't always have to confront what happened, but you can if you choose. I accept the fact that I turned into a fallen angel and killed innocent people with my own two hands." Maki held up her hand and demonic energy flickered in it like a flame. "But that happened because I did what I believed in, keeping the person I care about safe. I regret the aftermath, but I don't regret what caused the aftermath. I'm half fallen-angel, and nothing will restore that half back to normal. Sometimes accepting what happened helps ease your mind. All you can do is move on."

"I know how that must have felt like... back in our years, our nightmares were filled with the screams of agony from our loved ones, which fueled our desire for vengeance even more. It has gotten so far that it became the only purpose, the only goal we had in life, moving only to eat, drink and sleep when our bodies simply demanded it, becoming almost machine-like. Even though the whole process nearly killed us on more than one occasion, our desire to being back those dear to us acted like the fuel we needed to just keep going, baffling anyone who dared to oppose us or even tried to reason with us." Future Xenest said, patting Atama's shoulder out of sympathy.

"Nightmares. Always nightmares." Atama replied with a pitiful laugh. "The limbo my soul was in after my death, I called it the Boulevard of Broken Dreams. A place where the only thing that was beating was my shallow heart, and the only one who walked besides me was my Shadow, and some days I hoped someone up there would find me, but until then I walked alone."

"The last she ever saw me, carried away by a moonlight shadow. I passed on worried and warning. Lost in a riddle that Saturday night, far away on the other side. She was caught in the middle of a desperate fight, but she couldn't find how to push through. All she saw was the silhouette of a gun, I was shot six times by a man on the run." Atama said as if in a trance.
