"Right." Future Xenest said.

As the surroundings of the group turned back to normal, they could see space which appeared normal like regular space, but it had a different sense of ambience to it...

"We have arrived inside the Anomaly. Scans of our escort force confirm that this is definitely Anomaly Space, complete with all the Metar Colonized worlds." The Martian at the Science Station said.

"Do a systems check on all ships. I'm not taking any risks; you know what happened when we escaped the Anomaly the first time all those years ago..." Future Xenest said.

"Proceeding." The Martian replied, doing as instructed.

Future Brachi shuddered as she looked around, while Future Xenest remained calm and focued.

"Xenest, all systems are nominal. There are no abnormalities detected." The Martian replied.

"Good, now we can proceed to begin our search for our friends. We'll travel from system to system and perform an energy scan on the planets present, but make sure to avoid the Cadimus Prime, Jotunheim, AP173, F'Thorc, Bezouk, Tybalt, Bursai, Durac and Tarikon Star systems." Future Xenest said.

"Any reason why you specifically want to avoid those systems?" A Martian asked curiously.

"Several; A. they hold bad memories for my wife and I and B. they are infested with either Metar, Hubrin or both." Future Xenest said.

"Also, be on the lookout for Tarikon 8, whom is now likely a frozen rogue planet. Remember that some enemy Planet Trade Soldiers created a superweapon of which its detonation nearly killed us and caused the planet to spin out of its orbit and into open space as one-sixth of the planet's mass was disintegrated in the detonation." Future Brachi replied.

"Message understood." The Martian said as it proceeded to enter a random set of co-ordinates and located a planet which was safe enough to begin the search, before the strike group went to warp towards that planet.

"I suppose this is where the real fun beings." Atama said.

"Pretty much..." Future Brachi said.

"We're approaching the Orsa star system." A Martian then said.

"Orsa? That's home to the planet Taal if I remember correctly." Future Xenest said.

"This is correct. All that remain on there are the remnants of our small outpost here, with its automated defense turrets and Power Generators still active, as well as the docile Hubrin Fortress. The levels of anti-proton energy it emits is just the same as when we first encountered it, meaning that the only damage done to the colony has been from the transition back into Anomaly Space." The Martian replied.

"Hmmm, go into orbit of Taal towards our initial colony there, see if there is anything we can salvage from the base as a whole, as well as hoping to get some information on our friends and allies." Future Xenest said.

"Complying." The Martian replied.

Soon enough the group arrived in orbit of Taal, after which Future Xenest, Future Brachi and Atama were beamed on the planet.

Future Xenest and Future Brachi looked around. Both of them recognized the desert-like landscape that Taal had on their first visit, yet there was here and there some plantlife, hills, mountains and cliffs around.

"Well?" Future Xenest asked.

"The place is like how I remember it." Future Brachi said, feeling a bit at ease as they made their way to the Martian Base, being attracted by a single unit of Scout Machines in the distance ahead.

"This was one of the first planets to emerge from the Anomaly," Future Brachi said, as Future Xenest went in the Science station in an attempt to uncover data, while a Martian Shuttlecraft landed on the planet to take some more of the resources which were still stored within the Storage Facility, "it was one of the more 'peaceful' planets in a way where we could simply set up our starting position for exploring the Tabula Rasa."

"We initially went to investigate these worlds as the planets actually spilled into our universe due to a freak incident in deep space," Future Brachi said, "when an alien race known as the Metar woke from hibernation and were wrecking havoc on our colonies and fighting us without provocation, they became too great of a threat to be fought and, to save all other planets around, we had to send all of the Metar-occupied world back to the energy void from which they came, which is the area of space we're in now."
