As the thread title suggests, what are your opinions that goes against the often, well, popular opinions?

I'll start:

I think people overhyped movies with "good animation". For example, Spider-Man: Into The Spiderverse had stunning visuals, but in terms of the story, it's very "okayish", bordering average. It isn't that groundbreaking, and its animation doesn't hold much weight if the story isn't that strong (another example, see: Dragon Ball Super: Broly).

I agree with this too. Just because it looks pretty doesn't mean it's good.

4Kids Voice Actors weren't all that bad. I like Seto Kaiba, Atem, Brock, and Bakura, just to name a few.

Graphics in the video game should not be the most important aspect. Unless it's straight up a pixelated mess, not everything needs to be similar to that of "Elder Scroll"; especially an overly cartoony franchise.

Cinemasins and the rest of cynical talking heads in internet spaces have destroyed any critical thinking or pure enjoyment of media.

All Pokémon games are excellent. Each has their flaws in presentation in storytelling or mechanics, but overall, they are well-crafted games with solid gameplay. Based on what I've saw from Legends, its  no brainer that Game Freak continues to delivered solid gameplay.
